Sorry to say I won't be taking the chance buying Steaks from this location again. 3x in the last 5~ years that I can offhand recall I've bought steaks only to get home, open them and find them so oxidized they reek. It's especially predatory that your $1 or $2/off stickers are placed directly over the oxidized spots on the steaks to make them look fine, only to be shown how gross and unhealthy the condition of the steaks are after opening. The cashiers are so conditioned to this too, they don't even request proof. They're immediately ready with a refund... notwithstanding all the extra time and travel put into your day due to the negligent practices. Do you need new refrigeration systems, or to rotate your meats more regularly? Something other than repeated apologies for what seems to be a regular, health-risking action taken by your employees.If you can take the time to cover the spot to make an extra buck, you can pull it from the shelf instead of risking a customers health. Basic common decency.

I purchased two packages of fresh mild Italian sausge,each pack had a $1.00 off coupon The cashier never removed the two coupons thus I was over charged & now I'll need to take the two coupons back along with my receipt for a refund,this is an inconvenience for me do to the fact that I'm home on a medical leave due to a recent surgery.

Great local grocery store. Buffet is nice but a bit pricey. I don’t usually purchase from their deli because I can get meats/cheeses a lot cheaper elsewhere. I do like their overall selection of grocery and produce items, and their sales are amazing. The awesome thing about their deals is you don’t have to buy the specified amount to get the discount (ex. sodas are sometimes 5 for 10 but you can buy 2 and still get the discounted price). I like that they also have a knockoff RedBox for movie rentals.

Used their online shopping site and was very pleased. They called to see if they could make substitutions and were very quick to bring my order out when I called to confirm I was there. Will definitely be ordering more online in the future.

The employees are very nice and helpful. I had a hard time findiing good deals though because it's a small grocery store. The prices were more pricey then im use to paying else where.i do like and enjoy that they have different 5 for twenty deals that's the only thing in the store that had caught my eye. I was extremely disappointed to find that they didn't provide customers with the formula that my child uses. So needless to say inwp uldnonly recommend going if it was necessary and go something small.

I visited 4 Boyers markets in one day looking for a specific item. Every other location Bernville, Sch Haven, and Orwisburgh we're very helpful and eager to help.The Pottsville location an employee tried to help and called the store manger for me, however he couldn't even be bothered to speak to me, then told me the item was no longer made.... Yet it was present at all other stores I visited just not in the quantity I was looking for .By the look on the employees face....the managers unwillingness to talk was not an uncommon thing.

I don't like the way things are places in the isles its hard to get through with wheel chairs or the electric scooters and the isles are tight enough without the large displays in them. Other wise I would have given a 5 star rating.

Its always my pleasure to walk the 20 minutes or so because they always have an accomadating helpful approach for there shoppers when they are needed besides that they always have someone there to maintain a fresh clean store and in the winter their property is always kept safe to walk snow and ice is always removed

Clerk was helpful but when I asked to use the restroom,well I don't think it was cleaned in a very long time. Could not flush the toilet either. Kind​ of put me off with buying groceries there.

Great deals and bakery! Deli runs out of items on sale quickly so get there early on the first day if the sale. The priemum deli meat, Kretschmar's London Broil is excellent. Wanted to try their ham off the bone but it was on sale and they ran out before I got there at 3 on the first day of the sale. Conveniently located on West Market St. in Pottsville with plenty of parking. Employees are just ok. The store is a little smaller than other Boyer's but it is kept pretty clean and organized.

Hard to get around. Tight fit in aisles. But, a good grocery store. You dont need a store card for specials. Most employees are nice.

Lady in the bakery is very rude no customer service at all. Will never order cakes for birthdays there again I been ordering there for 3 years last year will be my last .

Boyers is a great place to shop between a friendly atmosphere, great savings and cleanliness, plus employees waste no time to help. Customer service is awesome for what all they have to contend with, they still remain to keep it happy. Thank you boyers for an Attttt job, wendy

Store appears clean & the staff was friendly... But I refuse to buy meat here anymore!!! I bought spoiled meat here twice! Seems like their meat is not being stored at the right temperature or something... :(
