I have traveled all over the nation eating fast food and A&W is a classic that is rare to come by these days. I was incredibly sad to see the nitro tap pours for the A&W root beer out of order and replaced with standard CO2 from the dispenser. Everything else was good but, it really seems like this "build back better" is really is hitting A&W hard.

DO NOT SLEEP ON A&W. We have been impressed every visit, we have been here several times & we drive 1 hour away to come here now after initially stopping by while on a trip.We wish there was a location local to us but this is a hidden fast food gem! Way better than any other popular chains like McDonald's, Wendy's or Burger King.Root beer cream float or freeze, is amazing & I'm not even a root beer fan like my husband. It's like a milkshake. I have had a fish sandwich, burgers, fries, cheese curds, onion rings. Brought friends here & recommended people to go when they have the time to make the trip out. We even thought about buying them gift cards here for Christmas!This is one of those places you never want to go away & we will keep coming back!

The worst $70 I ever spent. The person who was running the till was slow. Not only that but they couldn't comprehend how they needed to put the food onto a tray and deliver it to our table. The food was cold as it was made 30 min before it was given to us. We had kids who wanted "custom" burgers that were wrong too. It was just overall one of the worst dining experiences. Watching it was like watching a car accident in slow motion. You can't stop it or help it and it is very painful for everyone.

We haven't been to an A&W for years. Stopped in here today after a train ride at East Broad Top. The lady who took our order was really friendly and helpful. Hubby ordered a root beer float. She gave it to us with a towel so it didn't get all over the table, which was nice. I was able to substitute a milkshake instead of a soda. The burger was really good and the milkshake was the best I've had in a long time. Wish we lived closer to this place!

This was my very first time going to A and W Restaurant in Orbisonia. The mushroom Swiss cheese and fries were excellent and there's nothing like And W Root Beer in a cold Frosty mug. Plus it was close to the East Broad Top Railroad. If it was not so cold it would have been a perfect day to walk there. I highly recommend going here and I'm looking forward to returning to A and W Restaurant again. And with a convenience store next to it was like stopping at the Blue Mountain Travel Center.Parking: Was able to park right in front of the building and next to drive thruKid-friendliness: They had a kid's menu as well

Have been here twice in the past year while traveling. Food is tasty and the service is excellent! Theresa was present on both occasions. She is very personable and helpful. She receives bonus points from me for being a dog lover, interacting with our two dogs when we visited in May and giving them a treat. I also recall Mike, who was friendly and kind as well when we visited in May. We won't hesitate to visit again the next time we are driving through PA.

Very friendly staff, spotless restaurant, delicious food for a great price. Would love to return! If you eat in store, you get a chilled mug for your drink! The root beer tastes home made, and the entire experience is lovely. Quick, too! The cod basket was delicious, super crispy and juicy.

Ordered two root beer floats just like the previous two times we visited and instead of coming in glass mugs, they came in disposable cups with about 1 scoop of ice cream. The root beer isn’t cold on its own and without the chilled mug, it’s warm. So for $3.66, you get 16 ounces of warm root beer and a scoop of ice cream. Won’t be back. And oh by the way, the cashier stood there waiting for someone else to come over and count out the change. The screen tells you how much it should be even if you can’t do the math. So can’t understand that either.

Store made root beer was delicious! It is served from a tap and you are given a frosted mug! Food was ok, but a bit overpriced. Staff were friendly. Restaurant was clean.
