So I have been using this Rite -Aid pharmacy for 5-6 yrs now. I have always had problems now and then with having to wait 30-45mins for prescriptions that have been called in 5hrs earlier. I have delt with so many rude girls working the pharmacy check out. But it was never anything that would deter me from using the pharmacy. Until this week… The girl behind the pharmacy counter was checking me out for another prescription I had filled (again it was called in at 11am and was told it will take some time and because of bad communication between doctors and pharmacy I went without my anxiety meds for 5 days and was now told I had to go home and wait for the confirmation text). She then told me ADD medication was sent in 3 days too early. Which I was fine waiting on. Now, there is a nation wide shortage on my medication and the doc had sent it in early. It was now a Wednesday and she told me that she has the medication at the moment and she can not promise it can be filled on Friday. I told her the doc sent it in early because I have been caught in the shortage the last 2 months. So I asked if there were anyway filling the prescription and holding it the 2 days even know I was told I can get it refilled by the doctor because this was the Easter weekend and I would be traveling from Friday until Monday with my family. She wasn’t understanding what i was telling her and began to become more agitated. At this time there was about 6 people in line behind me. All I was asking was for it to be filled liked talked to with my Phyc doc. I did not ask to take the medication out on that day but come back on Friday before we left for Easter vacation. She then started raising her voice so now the people in line can hear. She then basically yells, listen I will not fill your controlled substance early still not understanding that I went through hours of getting ahold of the doctor about my situation. Now embarrassed, i backed down I said “Well I guess I’m at your mercy correct?” She said absolutely and it’s not up to your doctor and once again out loud says, I will not fill your controlled substance early. So it’s now Friday(Easter Weekend) and the medication is sold out and on back order. i struggle with major depression and anxiety on top of my ADD. I now have to force myself to call other pharmacies to acquire my medication with no luck and again treated like a drug addict. I can not stop thinking about this. My privacy was compromised because she had to raise her voice and I will now be getting my medication switched to a better establishment. It’s a shame because i live a block away and shop there frequently. Never again. I have never felt so dehumanized and feel that there is no care for customers and it’s so sad. I was treated like a drug addict in front of many people and this girl that wasn’t even the pharmacist made me feel so small and worthless because I have been treated with a drug by my psychiatrist that people abuse. I will never put myself in the situation ever again and will be looking for a family pharmacy that cares about their customers. I will be contacting a corporate office to further explain my awful experience.

According to Google, this location closes at 10 pm. Went in tonight about 845 pm to grab a few items quickly and were rushed by the gentleman behind the counter checking his watch and asking customers walking in if he can help them because he's "locking up in a few minutes". I don't normally go in that late, but googled before I went to be sure of the hours.

Get your prescriptions at a different pharmacy. I was told by the pharmacist that they need a better workflow. They can’t get a handle on how busy they are.I waited over two hours for two prescriptions that they pulled because I could have gotten them OTC for cheaper. I was not called or notified about this change. So I called and asked where it was. They said they did tell me when I came to pick it up… but that was a different person. My 18-month-old had a 105° fever. I could have given her something in that time. The fever could have come down.I wish I could give zero stars. Save your frustrations and use a different pharmacy.

Pharmacy is terrible, staff are rude and just plain ignorant. My 78 year old crippled aunt had to wait 2 weeks for her pain medication, my 68 year old father had to wait a month for his nerve medication. They kept saying blame the government and would not help me. Never go here, cvs is allot better.

Not a terrible location, but the prices are occasionally a bit higher than CVS which is right down the road. Getting out of this spot can be problematic depending on the day. Staff are quite pleasant to deal with though.

Staff are rude and wait times are long. Be prepared to stand in line for 20 min. They are always understaffed it seems. Prices are very high as well. Definitely transferring pharmacies.
