I just called this vet. Phone was picked up and all I heard was background noise. I asked if this is the vet. Was told yes, it is mid valley veterinarian hospital. I said my dog has been having diarrhea for at least a couple days now but other than that seems mostly normal. What should I do? Vet says, if you want to bring her in call me back because I'm leaving soon. HANGS UP!! Not even a good bye! REALLY?

Do not take your animals to this vet. My wife and I called and showed up at her facility to treat our cat who had been bleeding and got fat. Upon arrival we noticed that her waiting room had cob webs and spiders. And in the back examination room there were tools and supplies laying around unorganized and there were biohazards everywhere. Liquid stains and hair from other animals. Besides the obvious sanitary issues, she kept insisting that our cat was infected with parametra or whatever it is. She then said that our cat could be older than she might seem because it happens in older cats around age 4-5. Our cat is 3. My wife kept insisting that she felt something moving inside our cats stomach and the vet just wouldn’t feel her. Immediately after that I noticed my cat pushing something out like a sac. The vet asked us if she was pregnant. SHES THE VET! HOW DOES SHE NOT KNOW IF OUR CAT IS PREGNANT THATS WHY WERE HERE FOR YOU TO FIGURE OUT WHATS WRONG?? Well immediately after she began to PUSH THE SAC BACK INSIDE OF MY CAT WITH HER FINGERS INSIDE MY CAT. She was very rough with my cat and my cat needless to say was very traumatized by the experience. Very unprofessional vet. Absolutely do not recommend

I had a bit of an emergency with my cat. Called the Mid-Valley Veterinary Hospital. The vet herself answered the phone even though she was out of town and it was nearly 6:00pm! She gave me some advice about what to do and apologized sincerely for not being available to help me more. I was impressed! Thank you! PS. The only other Vet Emergency Hospital that was open didn't even answer the phone.

Just called out of concern because my cat managed to get a pill bottle open with meds for one of them, and chewed on some. Wanted to make sure there wouldn't be an overdose concern. When I called the lady asked how many pills and what medicine, told her 4 pills at least and it was gabapentin. Then she told me she couldn't help me because she doesn't know the size of my cat and told me to call my vet. It's Sunday. Vets aren't open, and she could have asked me the size of my cat easily. Then she hung up on me. Guess this place is not on the list of places I'll go in an emergency. Horrible.

This hospital with Dr.R is a fantastic doctor. Saved 2 of my pet cats. Also did my parents 11 dogs. Shes amazing doctor credit, cash or check. Doesnt except care credit. Always reasonable when it comes to payment.

Dr. Mary got us right in and treated our cat for a uti after we were told we would have a 15 hour wait at the emergency vet. She was quick to treat him, very kind, and reasonable. I was very happy going to her and she eased our fears. I could not be more grateful for her seeing him on such short notice

If I could zero stars I would. This place is very unsanitary. OPEN and USED needles laying around. Surfaces were covered in dirt and grime. Used a dirty thermometer to take my cats temperature, didn’t look at her at all and prescribed her antibiotics. I felt extremely unsafe bringing my cat here. Do not recommend at all.

She was the only vet I could find on a weekend for an emergency call for my cat Tigger. She helped as much as she could and gave me directions. I wasn't able to save him sadly but I am so very grateful that she was available to help.

Vet took our call at 730pm on a Friday night. She met us there at 8pm and took care of our dog Toby. He had an fever & open wound that got infected. She gave him a shot of antibiotics & pain meds. Gave us antibiotics to go home with and he is on the mend.

We had an emergency case, 6 other Veternarians told us they were booked. Dr. Mary got us right in. I was amazed with how well she handle our cat. She saved his life. Love her. Phenomenal Veternarian.

Our beloved cat, Simba, has megacolon & when he can't deficate, it often requires surgery....we couldn't find a vet that was open & the only emergency vet had (we live about 45 min. away) had a 11 hr. wait!. I found this place online & called. Dr. Rizcalla answered & said (even though she wasn't in the office) to bring him in.We did & she was very kind, professional & told us what to try. Two days later the treatment worked...we are Eternally grateful to her. This is how vets Should be...though you won't find many in this sate.Most vets forget why they chose this profession & are in it for financial resons. She was very resonable...can't say enough.

I dont typically do reviews but Dr. Mary R. saved 3 of my cats after they were poised by a flea medication. One was so bad I looked at her and said to end his suffering. She said" I'm not ready to give up on him!" All 3 of my cats are alive. If I went anywhere else they would have put at least that one down. They stayed with her for over 3 days and I didnt have to sell my kidney to pay the bill. She worked with me and understood the situation. Thank you Dr!!!!

Took great care of my Bonsai, a 5lb black chewy mix that was lethargic due to dehydration. She administered an antibiotic and an IV bag, took us in on a Sunday with 30mins notice, I literally called her and begged to be seen, as I had been turned down by at least 5 hospitals within 2 hours Drive of lake Ariel. Everyone was either overbooked or offering an appointment in the middle of the night, but my dog was not well and had to be seen immediately. The Doctor didn’t push anything unnecessary, understood the situation and acted quickly, I felt so relieved and the whole thing only cost me $195 which would have been in the thousands if we had ended up at the hospital.Thank you kindly!

The doctor took Great care of my sick dog,saw us on a Sunday,when no one else was open...in and out with medicine and instructions, at a cheaper rate than if I went to Vrec...would definitely go to her again.very pleased with the outcome.

This place is awesome . Got us in on very short notice on Sunday . The lady that was there was very sweet , and made me feel so comfortable as I was beyond nervous . My cat didn’t eat or drink for 3 days straight , and they got us in immediately and completely fixed her up . She came home and actually almost immediately took a few sips of water . Still didn’t eat till the next day but she finally did for breakfest . I was ecstatic . Gave us a really good price as well. Very very appreciative for them !!

My fur baby and I had a very positive experience with Dr. Mary. I called 3 vets to see my cat for an emergency situation and was told by all 3 that I had to wait for days. I called Mid-Valley Veterinarian Hospital, spoke to the Dr. and she said bring my cat right over. She admitted her for 3 days and was very reasonable. She saved my cats life.

If I could rate this hospital a 0 I absolutely would. After trying to go to 3 different vet hospitals at 5am, no one was open for emergency care. Our LAST resort was this vet hospital. There were no outstandingly bad reviews so we went. Not only was it DIRTY and housed loud dogs in dirty cages, they treated our cat TERRIBLY. Unfortunately, there was nothing anyone could do to save him, so after a series of painful and unsuccessful shots to calm him down, they MURDERED him with a shot through the heart. I would never EVER have gone here if I had know they would treat any animal this way. It was overly traumatic for an already upsetting situation. If you are considering this vet hospital, try ALL OTHER options first.

During the summer, our older Labrador, who was a beloved member of our family, became very ill and we knew the end was near. Dr. Mary guided us through the process helping to make him comfortable after exhausting all other possibilities. On a Sunday, he became very ill. Even though the office was not open, Dr. Mary came in to meet us. She helped explain everything to our children. With compassion and grace, she supported them with kindness and empathy and give them time to digest the outcome. Then, she joined us in a final prayer. We are truely grateful for help during this difficult time both professionally and personally.

this lady had me treat my dog for an ear infection for a month (didnt even look in his ear or even touch him) and the infection did not go away. I brought my dog to different hospital and I found out he has a severe yeast infection, the worst this vet has ever seen. I wouldn't even bring a worm to this lady to get treated. She did her whole treatment in the waiting area. When my new vets assistant called for my dogs shot records this lady refused to give them to her. And my dog had to get all new shots. Waste of money and my dog went through more than he had to

DO NOT GO TO THIS VET. We recently brought my cat into their care after he was attacked by a dog. All this place did was give him an IV and antibiotics and sent us on our way after spending one night there. We had to take him into another vets care because we belive his hip was broken. They took no xrays of my cat to check for internal damage. It’s a disgrace you call this place a veterinary hospital. Shut this place down!!

We called for help with a kitten eith a respiratory infection when no one else could fit us in. She squeezed us in last minute and got us antibiotics. She was so kind and helpful.

They were great. Clearly explained the process for getting assistance, provided estimates up front, and prioritized critical emergencies over mine. Hopefully don't need to use their service again, but great knowing they are there if we need.
