After our long move to the area, we realized to our alarm that we couldn't find our dog's medications. We took her to Hometown Animal Hospital and they were very helpful in getting them refilled. Since then, we have had our dog's nails clipped there and they did a fantastic job, especially since our dog greatly dislikes having it done. Our dog is an important part of our family and it's nice to have found a place to care for her.

A friend had to bring his cat in and I helped. They were friendly and professional yet gentle. They treated his cat Snickers quickly and with sensitivity. I would bring my cats there definitely!

We took our pet to this office on May 26th. She has been a patient at this location for many years. She was misdiagnosed with kennel cough and we were told, when she wasn’t getting better, that she may or may not have a tumor in her nose. However, no tests were run at this location to rule it out. We were just given more medication for an inaccurate diagnosis. She was given medications she didn’t need, and on July 5th, she was still suffering from what we were told was ‘kennel cough’. We took her to the animal hospital in Plains for a scope, and it was discovered that she has an irritated esophagus and stomach lining and not kennel cough at all. She is now being treated with the PROPER medication. We are very disappointed in the treatment and misdiagnosis of our little girl, and would not recommend this facility for your pet’s medical needs.

I’ve been taking my dog to hometown his entire life. He’s almost 14 now and they have taken great care of him. I would not trust my dog with anyone else. Great staff and always open to thinking outside the box with treatments and diagnosis. I trust them 100%.

I've been trusting my pets with Hometown since I got my late Amstaff pup Eve over 25 years ago. They are a great team and always treat your animal with the utmost care. I now entrust their team with my Aussie Ava and our newest little buddy Benjamin, an amazing little ragdoll kitten. If you are wanting an amazing team that will care for your pet, as you would, this is the place to be. I don't know that they have new customer openings but if they do, fill it quick. You won't regret it.Edit* I forgot to add. They also know my dog and cats names. They'll ask how Ava is if I'm there with the cat Benji. They work extremely hard to make your pet comfortable and give treats to your pets if you ok it. If your pet is to uncomfortable to eat the treats, they'll send the treats home in a baggie. It's the small things the team does that sets them apart. They really care about your pet and you as a person. Give them a try. You'll be feeling like part of their family in no time.

Extremely rude on the phone, both woman I spoke too. They can't find my charts? I don't run to the vet and my animals don't go outside. When I called in the past, twice over my animals being sick, they recommended me to the emergency clinic. No wonder they can't find my info, they are too busy to help. I wanted to get my new dog in for shots, the girl started saying, I can't find your info, I started saying yeah, I know your busy and can't take new clients, then the second call, the lady was giving me grief and I said what your all high and mightier than God? She yells don't ever call back here again your done. Lady I was done after the first hang up. You people really have not helped me at all in the last several yrs.Really the sad part, I have several family members that go there and I really like Dr Colbasanni too. Sad..
