Went for vegetable plants (tomato, spinach, lettuce, onions, peppers). They have at least 8 different varieties of tomato plants plus all different sizes of tomato plants. About 4 varieties of onions, 5 kinds of lettuce, spinach and about 10-15 kinds of pepper plants. I bought snap dragons, dwarf tut plant, and Gerber daisies were on sale for $3.99. I ended up getting so much more than I needed. The vegetable plants were prices reasonable. I think the perennials were on the expensive side for how small they are.

If you ever need to just be alone with your thoughts, or silently cry while roaming and admiring the plants this is the place. So serene and peaceful. The staff are wonderful. I come here for succulents and some mental therapy once in a while.

Update: Spring plant sales are a big deal here. They carry tons of flower, vegetable, & herb starts, plus some very nice potted arrangements. The longer you wait to start your garden, the greater the discounts. The downside to that, is that your garden starts later...In. 2019, Glick's was a patchwork building, cobbled together over many years. Inside , it was a maze of mostly low, sometimes narrow rooms featuring many Christmas tableaus.Now, the low complex of twists and turns has been replaced by a huge, open, airy, greenhouse. There are still wreaths from organizations in the surrounding area, some of them are very cute & clever.Very importantly, you can still get a hot dog with or without sauerkraut, gratis.The number and variety of poinsettias available is mind boggling. Whatever kind of poinsettia your heart desires can be found here, and for a good price! There is also an impressive variety of succulents and arrangements of herbs to keep growing in your kitchen, decorated nicely for the season.I did, however, miss those creative quaint and clever little scenes set up all throughout the patchwork old setup. They were in fact my favorite part, besides catching up with Joe over a hot dog. I also miss the little table of crafts set up for the kids, but maybe that's still there on the weekend. We went on a weeknight.Is it still worth the visit? Absolutely! Go, see the beautiful new facility! Bring home poinsettias and other plants to bring the warm feelings into your house that only comes with seeing living, growing things, so hard to find outside, as we approach the depths of winter and its accompanying malaise. You can even have them dust your poinsettias with glitter, so they can catch the twinkling light from your Christmas tree and sparkle just a little more.Caution: keep pets away from poinsettias, and if your immune-compromised, maybe come right before closing on a weeknight, because masking is not popular here.

I love the huge variety of annuals and perennials here. From succulents to marsh loving grasses. Hanging flower baskets, pots, bamboo trellises and gardening tools, gloves and soil. Everything you need to make your garden look amazing. Prices are a little high but not the most expensive around and the plants you get here are very healthy and grow to have a ton of colorful blooms on them. My favorite here is the tiny succulents selection. Every year I get something new that wasn't there the year before. I have a tiny fairy garden that I use them in. So fun! Go during the week if you want to avoid a crowd.

The big box stores have dozens. Glicks has many thousands. It just amazed me how many varieties of each. And I found the prices to be just right for my pocketbook. Try it. Lorenzo approved

I love the annual poinsettia show. So much creativity. There are free refreshments too and live entertainment.The new greenhouse is great! So much room in the aisles. Organized alphabetically to make plants easy to find. You can now buy veggies in single pots so that you can mix and match.

I went with my family not knowing what we were going to find and had the most amazing time. That day the were having complimentary hot dogs, ice cream and tea, but also we got to make keychains with Beth Glick, one of the owners. She's such a lovely person and we had a great conversation with her. The plants look good and the prices are even better. We bought a couple of flowers and left feeling really happy. We're definitely coming hack!

My daughter and I have been here for a few of their events. They are very COVID safe, making sure everyone is properly distanced and limiting the number of people. We did the Valentine planting workshop most recently. The prices are so reasonable and the succulent selection is amazing!

Betty is amazing and super sweet. I bought the succulents for my wedding bouquets from her. I also purchased the sweet potato vine that I put in my center pieces. My whole experience and selection of succulents was fantastic. Well worth the trip.

If you're into gardening this place will make you feel like a kid in a candy store. They carry common annual and perennials, and a great variety of uncommon plants. There's plenty of veggies for your food gardening needs and if air plants and succulents are your thing, they've got you covered.

Glicks is a wonderful place to shop for plants, the selection is large and varied for both seasonal, annual bedding and perennial plants. As well as a great selection of herbs and vegetables. Everything is very healthy and top quality. They have lovely and very reasonably priced hanging baskets, planters and gardening supplies.The prices are moderate and the owners and staff are really nice. I've spoken with the owners and over the years and they have been unfailingly courteous and knowledgeable and the seasonal staff are the most polite, helpful people. Betty in the office is an angel and and you really just can't find a better plants for the prices. I've been a customer for many years and I absolutely love the place.

First-time time shopper on Tuesday August 7, 2023. I wanted to plant some flowers but I don't know what to get so I asked my neighbor and she suggested Glicks. Amazing facility and a huge farm out back where they grow their own stock. Never going back to the big box stores. Buy local and buy direct from the grower.
