Initially I didn't have much issues however we have lost 7 fish that have been purchased from here. The last 5 had ich. They told us the fish must have had a parasite. Ich is a parasite. They don't seem very knowledgeable for a business that is selling animals. We did have it confirmed that the fish had ich. I hate having to leave such a rough review but this is what we've gone through. Hopefully it's just a bad batch of fish and they can fix it.

I bought a Russian tortoise a few years back. They gave me all necessary info along with food and lights to use in his aquarium.. recently started a fish tank for my youngest and they again helped me get together a tank using feeding fish before trial and error with the expensive ones. She was friendly and knowledgeable.. it's a flower/party store slash pet store.

Amazing customer service. Went here to get some gold fish to start a tank. The lady who assisted me was so helpful and nice. Answered all my questions. Then she gave me 5 goldfish for free. We will be back to pick up some glofish and frogs soon . They have a wonderful fish selection. 100% recommend them for all your fish needs.

Very knowledgeable and helpful staff. Went in needing help for a snail infestation. I got the help I needed and a solution and some beautiful healthy fish and plants as well. Prices are fantastic. I spent less than half of what I would have at petco and got way more. Will be back again and again. Thanks guys!

The lady was very nice, patient and informative. The place was a bit dingy and felt like the cages and tanks could be a bit cleaner. The conjoined store looked very junky and the staff member in the store was not wearing a mask.

I bought a hamster there in October. They stuck 15 hamsters in a small cage (to me there should've been at least 3 cages for them). They told me my hamster was 3 months old, but this April he showed signs of age that was way older than 9 months.Also, I know they are trying to sell hamsters but they told me I could have 2 hamsters in the same cage. You are not supposed to have 2 Syrian hamsters together or they will fight each other.I just wish when getting the job they teach their employees about all the different types of animals and explain the bare minimum of information of what the animal needs to thrive.The employee that I spoke with was very nice and just doing her job. The place was a little messy but you do gotta remember it's Oil City and the space they use is pretty small for all the animals they have.In all I just wish they would educate their employees better on care for the animals, not just to sell them. I probably would've bought more things from them if they had more care for the animals.*if you need an employee who is very knowledgeable on hamster care, hmu*

Went up to look at the fish on Tuesday. When we decided which ones we wanted we went back up to get them on Thursday but were told we couldn't purchase 2 of the fish that we saw earlier in the week (even though they were out to be sold) because they said they didn't know if the owner would sell. So the one associate said we would have to try again on the next day which was Friday and it's not like we live close. When we called up early on Friday we were told that they had been sold!!!!!!!!! What the hell kind of business is being ran up there?? Not only that but the place is gross and all the tanks are dirty but we heard good reviews from friends so decided to give them a try. I will NOT go up there again to purchase anything and feel bad for all the animals that have to live there.

I have gotten many birds and it is a not great place for birds. The first I had was a spastic bird that had problems. Second bird is still alive but a very stressed out bird. Third bird is the one I loved the most, But because of the conditions in aqua world he was sick. I tried my best and he died too. Not a good place for birds. Please don't get birds all it will bring you is extra sadness. They are sick and neglected birds that if the owners are reading this, Stop selling birds. If you are a customer, Please just buy from another place, it is not good.Edit: The last bird also died not that long ago

I will never buy anything here. Aquarium chemicals are overpriced, but what's worse is there were dead fish in half the tanks. 4 dead in just 1 tank alone! Most of the tanks hadn't been cleaned for some time, with black algea on the glass. The tank with frogs listed on it had pieces of frog bodies throughout the gravel. We were shocked! Not going there again. They obviously don't care for their fish at all!

A nice little pet store, they know a lot about lizards, birds, fish and small critters. They have been very kind and helpful everytime we have gone in! They are the only place to get live crickets for miles!

Went to the website and said was open till 6,got there at 5:05 and was told they were closed. Told them their website said 6 and the lady said i dont care what it said we close at 5,when i said u have a 11 yr old crying about getting a hamster snd was treated rudely,then her husband followed us to smoker friendly and continued to harass us.....u could tell he had been drinking. I have never been treated so horribly by someone thats supposed to be professional...will never go there again,ive heard other bad things about the place and the way its ran bt never expected that.....

Animals looked sickly and neglected. I've had 2 friends whose animals died within 3 days of purchasing. This place should be closed down, or, at the very least, investigated for animal cruelty!
