Can only share with you that I love the taste of this cod fish sandwich. So many sandwiches for lent have a stinky smell. I usually share it with my dogs with 1 or 2 sides and an extra 2 fried chickwn breasts on side. The sandwich alone with bun never cost above $10 so it allows for me to splurge more. I really dont shop for groceries here.

Duritza's Shop 'n Save in Oakdale PA has become my favorite place for groceries. It's big enough to carry most items I need, it's small enough to not feel like you're walking miles to pick up even a few items, and they have specialty items throughout.

From the time that I first moved into the area this has been my chief go-to source for groceries. That habit has shifted a little bit in the past few years after COVID-19 came along, but still I shop here on a fairly regular, routine basis, and frankly, I'd be at a bit of a loss in the unthinkable scenario of the store ever closing. It's very well organized and always clean; the staff are friendly and welcoming. As far as I'm concerned the prices are very reasonable, and maybe even better relative to other stores; even compared to area competitors I think Shop 'n Save has a strong variety of items on its shelves. And to top it all off, I think their business hours are longer and more lax compared to other places where I might shop; given their very convenient location to boot, if I need to grab a small something, this is still the place I go without fail. Simply put, if you're looking for groceries, I don't think you can go wrong with Shop 'n Save.

DO NOT shop in the deli or hot foods. This place is so dirty I quit after a week bc I couldn't in goodconscious come back in. I was going to let everything go and live, let live but manager Ron wanted to be petty today and ban me from the store for having 21 items in the 20 item checkout. Health dept is next on list.

Tried getting a job here, only 10 an hour. *eye roll*They say they can use the help, but my help is worth more than $10. No wonder why they have trouble hiring... Get with the program. With the crazy high prices they have here, they should be able to pay employees at least 13 an hour.

I ordered Fried chicken, it was awesome! Our guest were all asking where It was from. I also ordered a cake with whipped icing, it was decorated beautifully and was so delicious! Thank you to the bakery and hot foods. That's why I order from you guys.

I love shopping here. It's normally such a relaxed pace inside for people who don't like crowded stores. It has everything you need and the prepared food is pretty good. The ham salad slaps.

So nice 5 pm in the evening one two check outs open. Unless you use the self check outs. Bewarefull of what you buy here make sure you look at dates the photos where taken March 9 2024

Definitely look at expiration dates before buying!! Deli meat is never good and veryfatty. I think only one lady in the deli was trained on how to cut meat properly. Also be careful buying ground chuck from here it had 2 piece of rubber in it after I cooked it. The manager Tim really did not care when I spoke to him. But the man in meat dept. Was more concerned. Also check what you are being charged for they have more mistakes than any store I ever been to. Then they act like your dumb because you told them about there mistakes over and over again. I will stick to Giant Eagle with the new perks they have. Way fresher and better food. Even Aldi's and Walmart are better.

Great supermarket! I can always find what I'm looking for and the staff is very helpful. Reasonable prices in today's economic climate. Overall a great place to do your shopping.

I like shopping here I always find what I need. I don't buy my meat here, I've bought meat here before but for some reason it tuff and dry I ended up throwing out the meat. Maybe it was old, I don't know. The deli meat is fresh as long as you get it from the deli, not pre sliced stuff.

Shop here but you won’t save. This grocery store is very expensive. You’d spend less at Market District. They also have a very small selection especially when it comes to meats and such. The only reason I shop here is when I need something quickly as it’s the closest grocery store.

LOOK AT EXPIRATION DATES BEFORE BUYINGThis has happened to us multiple times at this location and it always slips my mind. It seems as though the store overcharges for their items and also sells meats and produce past their expiration dates regularly.We avoid going here but as others have said it is convenient I’m between Walmart trips.

I love this store! The employees are super friendly. The store is big enough for a good selection but not too big to be overwhelming. I also really like the recipes in the weekly online sales ads.

This Food store delivers in so many ways! a very good selection of essentials. Above average bakery. deli, wine and beer section. But what makes Heidelberg S&S an above average food store? The People and Attitude to serve its Customers. 👍

I like how small the place is. Everytime i go there to shop its around 6-7p sometimes before then and its always so much more quiet than walmart. It nice to shop and not get a head ache. I get to shop for my daughter and husband while also relaxing 😎

Generally speaking, this store is nice. The bakery is always loaded with the best cookies etc. There are a few employees that are honestly the nicest people and make you feel very welcome (particularly woman behind alcohol register and woman that always works at customer service. Today, however, there was an employee at the Deli that probably shouldn't be working with slicer or with the public. Could not keep eyes open while weighing meat and also kept pressing wrong buttons when printing ticket for meat.

Fair prices and growing selection. They are slowly updating the store, and they normally can be counted on to have what you need. Lines are never too bad, and there is always self checkout. Good deli selection and produce quality is pretty good most of the time.

Slop and Slave INDEED.My niece works here and literally saw a lady shoplift with a BUNCH of deodorant and the (what I assume is the owner or manager, the one with glasses) did absolutely NOTHING about it. All of the Duritza families stores are clean and run the right way. They treat their customers good and the lady in floral even gave me a coat hanger one time cause I locked my keys in my car. I shop at their Washington Pa store a lot also and it's just as good.

CHECK EXPIRATION DATES!!!Update: Dog bones are now cut in the correct direction. My dogs love them! But they are expensive. That's why I usually buy meat and bones at Giant Eagle.Unfortunately the seafood cook overdid the fresh shrimp. It was tough and rubbery. Won't be buying fresh cooked shrimp again.----------9 months ago:Bought a package of smoked salmon. By the time I got ready to use it I noticed that the expiration date was 6 days past and it was 4 days before I bought it. Also was going to buy some yogurt but fortunately I looked at the expiration date. So didn't buy yogurt.Meat, even soup bones, are over priced. Actually unless it's on sale everything is over priced.The butcher cuts the soup bones in the wrong direction. I used to buy them for my dogs but no longer. I started going to Giant Eagle where there's much more variety and they know the correct way to cut soup bones.

It’s close to home. The produce is always fresh and it usually has what I need for cooking, as long as I don’t need something too specialized, like oyster sauce. My one complaint is that meat, especially chicken, is packed in tiny portions so that you have to buy five just to get 2 lbs of meat.

This place is okay.So, I went here about a week ago with my friend Tanisha, and it took us about an hour to get out. Now, this is partially our fault because we over-bought, but it's a tad bit hard to find out where things are. I mean, the least they could do is put a few employees around the store to help customers. Besides the lack of employees and the locations of products, this place is pretty nice. The employees are pretty nice as well!
