I can't recommend Jen & her staff enough. Krystal groomed my 6 month old doodle puppy who had never been groomed before! If you own a doodle you should know how imperative it is that they get groomed every 6-8 weeks (along with daily brushing) or they WILL get matted. My puppy was so relaxed when I came to pick him up so I know they were kind and gentle to him. Krystal was so patient with him and I am blown away by how adorable he looks! My kids said he "looks like a plushie" they didn't even think he was real 😄 This staff is experienced- 10/10 🤩❤️

We love Paradise Paws! Enzo always gets the best haircut and loves his groomer DJ so much! Everyone here is always so accommodating and kind, too! We leave happy every single time!

Our dog has received grooming services there for over 2 years. We had an appointment scheduled for Friday afternoon but because of the uncertainty of the weather, my husband called and inquired if our dog could dropped off earlier before our appointment time. This is something we have previously done due to our work schedules. He was told the accommodation could be made. However, the technician he spoke to changed the appointment time and we received an angry call from the owner indicating if the dog wasn’t there in 5 minutes, she could not be groomed. Our son is home from school because of the snow, so the earlier drop off time was not needed. Communication errors do occur and what my husband requested and what the technician heard were obviously very different. The technician misunderstood and made the mistake by rescheduling the appointment time. The owner blamed my husband for their mistake, was rude and unwilling to work with him, and referred him to Amy’s down the street. Obviously, the owner doesn’t have great customer service skills and doesn’t value repeat business. We thought our dog was more than just a number but obviously not.

Grooming wise - they are good! Does their job perfectly!But price wise - really too high!And customer handling - very very poor!They charged me 135$ for my Pet grooming (charged 30$ extra for keeping my dog for 5 hours in the Grooming center). Apparently, they sent a text message to pick our dog up by 11:30 (dropped by 8:15 in the morning), but picked up due to our work at 1 PM, and they charged me 30$. I did have a word with the groomer about negating the charge, but never really handled the situation well. Also, they complained we were 15 minutes late for the appointment (in Google, their timings start only by 8:30 AM). Asking why the Google wasn't updated, they were saying "Google is charging more for the timings to be updated". It doesn't sound too professional of them. I agree there was a mistake on our side to miss the text message they sent. But sometimes, these things do happen, but charging 30$ on top of 102$ they charge for grooming a mini poodle is really absurd in my opinion. I would have avoided them completely, if I knew they were this adamant!Would not recommend. Petco was lot better!!!

When I first moved to Pittsburgh I took my dog, Oliver to a groomer nearby and had the worst experience ever. Since then I have been extremely hesitant to get him groomed in Pittsburgh. I actually went as far as to schedule him a haircut with his old groomer when I went to visit home in Virginia. I decided to give it another shot out here and did some research. I called around different groomers and Paradise Paws really stood out to me. Their customer service was amazing straight off the bat, so I was already feeling good about them prior to his appointment. Drop off was simple and the groomer who took him was very sweet. I loved that they gave me a 20 minute heads up before he was finished. When I got there, I was greeted almost immediately and Oliver was brought out to me after I paid. They are SO reasonably priced. I’m very happy to have found a place where I can continue to bring Oliver!

If I could 0 star this I would. I have gone 3x over the last few years here. The groomers have never been friendly, however the last groomer I had was very aggressive with my small sweet Havanese dog. She was lunging at Cocoa trying to get a collar on her, Cocoa was petrified. She was scared to death of her. The girl kept saying "well she is going to have to get used to it if she wants to get groomed". I said she never reacted to the other 2 groomers the way she is to you. You should come gently & let her sniff you if she seems scared". Cocoa was SO scared of her! I got her collar on & haven't been there since. I figured when I did I would see who she was & get a different groomer. So here we are now almost 1 year later, I call to get her groomed & I asked the owner who the last girl was that saw Cocoa, I couldn't remember her name so I said "Is she a heavier set girl?" She put me on hold then hung up on me!! I tried calling multiple times thinking we had been "disconnected", no answer. I thought something might be wrong with my phone so I used another phone. They answered and said "we have decided not to take you back as a client because you FAT shamed our stylist." What??? Then hung up on me again! I had no other reference to her except that because all her other stylist are SKINNY. I never said anything rude or derogatory, it was a reference, just as the person of color, or the skinny girl etc. If all her stylist had been heavy set, and I said the SKINNY stylist am I SKINNY shaming her now?? Very unprofessional ,rude & insane way to handle this situation. Talk to someone to like an ADULT not like a middle school child.I will make sure every platform knows how they are & how this one stylist is treating scared dogs! And dogs are smart & Cocoa knew this woman wasn't nice.

Took our small dog zoe there today and the staff did an amazing job on her. She looks amazing and smells so good. Will definitely continue taking her there! Staff are so welcoming and pleasant and zoe very much loves her new cut.

This is our first dog as a family. We didn't know what exactly to look for in a groomer, but we didn't want to go to one of the 'chain' groomers. We were so impressed with the professionalism and courtesy from these folks. They treated us and our puppy with respect, only providing the services that we needed and asked for. We've already been back and have recommended them to friends. Also...your puppy might leave with a super cute scarf. It's the small touches that make all the difference!

I have been taking my mini golden doodle Sully here for about 2 years now. He loves his groomer Darienne! She is amazing with him and he always comes out looking great and super happy. I love the parking lot drop off and pickup is always so quick and easy. Could not recommend this business enough! :)

I've been taking my reactive dog to Paradise Paws for about two years and only trust them to handle her. My dog is not dog-friendly and hates water, yet always is well-taken care of at Paradise Paws. I take my dog from out of town to visit Emily for baths and nail appointments in between. The entire staff is very helpful and respectful. Bonus, they're across the street from an ice cream shop so my dog can get a pupcup after her bath :)

A very friendly staff greets you and your dog. They handle everything professionally, calling beforehand to remind you of your appointment and also to let you know when it is time to pick up your pooch. When I asked to have the dog cut slightly differently than the last time (a little longer on top of her head), they did exactly what I wanted and it looked great. The dogs certainly enjoy their trip to Paradise Paws.

The most caring and considerate groomers by far! They are always happy to see our Chocolate Lab puppy and return her to us in tip top shape and always have a great report for us. We are always able to make an appointment in a timely fashion. The most we've had to wait is 2 days. They always accommodate us happily.

My dog is a rescue and has anxiety. The staff handled her well and the woman at the front desk even walked over to comfort my pup while she was getting her nails trimmed which seemed to help. Reasonably priced for nail trim/ grinding. Will definitely be back! Also, love the taytay calendar!

Recently took our two dogs in for some grooming , both cuts were done very well! I was a little nervious as our dogs were once mistreated by a groomer so they are hesitant with new ppl . Upon picking them up both were happy and excited which was a huge relief ! They left Paradise smelling and looking great! Staff seemed very friendly and I could tell Willow and Rosscoe were very comfortable with them which is the most important for us ! I would absolutely recommend them and will be bringing our dogs back again !

This is a complaint to the Staff,All the staff are so disrespectful and racist. Staff said my dog is trouble when my dog is just a puppy. I went to other places before and they never had any trouble with my dog like Pet Supplies Plus or even at the Vet.Also they mentioned cutting out on aggressive pets especially kittens and puppies, which to me feels like a threat. I don’t believe pets are aggressive. I thought I can trust these professional people since they are a certified grooming salon.Please don’t come here, they will try to threaten you as well and even have you pay an extra fee for aggressiveness when your pets are not.Reply if you are having similar issues with this salon.

These girls are off the charts. I have shopped around for Allegheny/Beaver County for groomers for our very scared Shih Tzu and every time my stomach was in a knot leaving her at places. These girls put not only our dog at ease but her family at ease! Our pup always comes home looking so cute and perfectly cut. They do what you ask and don’t always resort to shaving her down to nothing if she has a few matted areas (and maybe isn’t the easiest dog to work with). Needless to say, we are so pleased and always look forward to working with Paradise Paws! :)

What can I say....everyone at Paradise Paws was Friendly and helpful....they made Sassy feel at home and calm (she was nervous) new place, first time to a groomer! She looks like a little princess! So pleased and thankful! Awesome job!!!!
