We enjoyed this much needed reprieve from the 90° heat! The tomato and cheese board was great! Really enjoyed the white wines and walked away with more than a few bottles as well as a Trophy wine slushy! Nice shade and dog friendly!

I hosted my birthday party at Black Dog Wine Company and the entire experience was amazing! The entire staff was so friendly and accommodating and the space was perfect! It's an ideal spot for a large party that involves a range of ages, including kids! Several of my guests commented on how nice the entire staff was and I'm so grateful to them for seamlessly coordinating all the moving parts of the party (caterers, dj, etc.) and taking that stress off of my shoulders! They even helped with clean up at the end of the night!I highly recommend this venue!

If you are looking for a unique venue for your next private event, consider Black Dog winery. Not only are they extremely helpful and accommodating, they are just so nice. Just had a wedding shower for our friends there and it was so intimate and chill. Aside from that, it is a great place to take a date or have a chill night out.

Great local winery that has food trucks and music on the weekends. Great cocktail selection as well as their wines and local beers. Small plates are also available. What's fantastic is that you can bring your own food, chairs and picnic blanket if you'd like.

This was our first time to Black dog wine company and I couldn't be more impressed. We opted to sit on the front porch where there were a few tables with chairs and tall pine trees to look at. I loved the vibe and that even out front we could hear the live music that was being played out back. The staff were so helpful, friendly, and patient with us being that we (my boyfriend and I) know nothing about wine and let us sample to see what we liked. We ended up purchasing a pitcher of "The Mutt"(which is a mixed berry sangria fruit wine) mixed with white rum, fresh fruit, and some club soda. We highly recommend as it was very delicious and the perfect mix for us. I also purchased 2 other bottles to take on vacation with us in a week, one of which is the "Happy Puppy" which is another one of their fruit wines but this one is made from raspberry and the other bottle is "pink kitty" which is a sweet wine. The staff member helping us said that it's similar to white zinfandel if that helps anyone. We sampled both of these also so we know we will enjoy both. I also couldn't help but get a sweatshirt and tank top along with two black dog wine company wine glasses. The wine was incredible along with the memories made here. Locking forward to another date night at Black Dog in the near future! ❤

Here for the first time tonight and was extremely impressed. It was a very peaceful and relaxing place with the ability to bring your own lawn chairs, blankets, etc... Also extremely recommend the root beer float. 10/10

We loved this winery! The young lady working was friendly, extremely knowledgeable about both the history of the location but about wine as well. She made amazing recommendations and added to the quaint ambience. I would definitely recommend this for an afternoon or even for an upcoming event. The house is gorgeous! If you do a tasting the first three samples are free, if you purchase a bottle you receive complimentary tastings.

Great local winery, fun old house turned into a unique winery experience. We have been multiple times, recently visited and sat outside since there was a live band and we brought our pups. Friendly and helpful staff, wine is reasonably priced. The wine slushies are my go to!

Great staff. I've met Courtney and Katie a couple times and they're wonderful! So is the owner Mark! So about the wine, I find the wine to be top notch. It also doesn't upset my stomach like most wine does and I have acid reflux, so that's saying a lot. I've been buying the Raspberry, strawberry, and Blueberry wines. It's 💯 pure ingredients and you can tell once you have it for yourself. I don't make many recommendations or reviews unless it's worth my time. Black Dog Wine has my best wishes. Thanks guys. I'll be back.

Went to the mystery dinner at black dog on April 28.The show was good, we were the last table to eat, by the time we got up to get our food, they had run out. Asked to put out more food and was told there was no more. We paid over 50 dollars per ticket. Very upsetting, probably will not go to the winery again.

Just had my son's rehearsal dinner at Black Dog. Couldn't have asked for a smoother event. Friendly and helpful staff. They did more than I expected. Will definitely recommend for an event. Will also return just to hang out and savor some wine.

Wasn't my favorite experience. A bit over hyped. It's an old place. A bit too large, maybe, for what it is. Pricey. No food selection to speak of. They do events pretty often. Basement room looks like it might be a cigar bar, but was closed at the time. Apparently, they buy juices to mix for their wine flavors and also buy other wineries wine and re bottle as their own.... Apparently it's a dirty little secret of "wineries". Interesting.

Visited Black Dog Winery for the first time today. Had a tasting and then bought two bottles. Their wines are a little on the unique side and are delicious. Service was friendly. I bought a glass of wine and sat outside on their beautiful porch to read my book.It was a wonderful visit.

We were just there for a small wedding reception, it was just perfect. It was really muggy outside, but the A/C inside was just right. The hostess was a gem, & the bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon that I purchased was excellent. I'll be back for more.

Beware having an event here. My family had a bridal shower here a year ago & the experience was horrible. The air conditioning was broken, the rain from outside starting pouring into the sunroom (ruining multiple personal items), AND the drunk patrons outside felt it necessary to walk through our party and cause a scene when asked not to by US!!!. The girls in the front had no idea what to do. I only hope they have since fixed these issues and they HAVE refunded us. But, they have deleted multiple reviews from my family members. I just want to put it out there for some one else's sake!!!

I enjoy wineries, and this one is local and terrific! I used a Groupon for a lunch there. The young lady working there was very accommodating. She served a good lunch of meat, cheese and crackers along with a few small pieces of fruit 🍑 and some nuts. My girlfriend and I drank a couple wine slushes and just enjoyed the early afternoon in the winery. Very nice. We'll be back!

Cute winery close to home. Bring a blanket or chairs and sit outside. Can bring outside food in or order from a couple local places and they deliver it here right to you. Tables and chairs inside. Great ambience for small or large groups.

I would give zero stars if I could. I refused to purchase food or wine here as long as Courtney is still working there. I tried to purchase wine to drink at the facility as well as wine to go and she refused me even tough I present valid ID that showed especially when I was more than of eligible age to purchase alcohol. Courtney herself has been a nuisance to the company and has made me question the owner, Mark’s, ability to hire people that represent his winery. So long and short as long as Courtney is working I will not give this winery my patronage. She has single handedly ruined my view on this small business.
