She did a great job with my little old man đ. Exactly what I asked. And her shop is so inviting for pets. Dogs and cats walk around the shop and have beds and water dishes to enjoy. I will take Lucky back for sure.

I love Amy's! They always do an amazing job on my super hairy Charles and they never judge me or get snippy cuz I am always late picking him up with after work traffic. They genuinely love animals and have the cutest pet parlor kitties that always come say hello. I highly recommend Amy's Pet Parlor

I love this groomer! I just took my long hair cat for the first time recently and they did such a wonderful job taking care of him. The price is totally fair, and they were able to accommodate an appointment for me pretty quickly!

Was our first time here and they did a great job on our maltese. Nice space and from the short conversation I had with Amy you can tell she loves animals so I'm sure you're pets are in good hands with her. Also they are really reasonably priced. Only reason i didn't give a 5 star is just our first time there. Will 100% be back soon. So far highly recommend. Thanks Amy and staff

I have 3 pups that need grooming. Have never had a pet groomed - they are great - explained my options, answered all my questions. I felt very comfortable leaving my pet to get groomed. My one pup is a nipper, they had no problems with grooming him. You can tell they love pets & really care about animals.Highly recommend Amy's pet parlor. My fur kids look & feel great!

We love Amy. She does such a good job every time on our dog. I feel safe with leaving him there. Her prices are reasonable, he looks great when he comes home and he is happy. Which is most important to me, he doesn't act weird, or sad or traumatized. He comes bounding home looking fancy, and he knows it!!!

Best grooming shop Iâve been to. Amy has a passion for animals and it really shows. They do such a great job, our two dogs always come out of there looking like we are on our way to the WestMinster dog show. Fast, friendly, reliable service for our pets what more can you ask for? I highly recommend Amyâs, itâs nice to know your pets are in good hands with people who clearly know what they are doing and are passionate about their work! Thanks to Amy, and her staff..weâll see you soon!

They took my yellow, dusty Samoyed and turned her into a glistening white fluffball! Super friendly staff and a great environment for your pup.

Absolutely an amazing staff and environment for your animal! Having a rescue dog who was "scared of her own shadow" was welcomed with open arms the first time we went there and warmed up within minutes of being there. They made sure to make my dog comfortable with them before they took her back and gave her tons of love. They truly love animals and I've taken my dog there ever since every visit is enjoyable there, they also are super helpful when you have a question about ur animals grooming or hygiene. I highly recommend this place!

I brought my dog in for his first time at Amyâs. Heâs a bit difficult to handle during haircuts so I tend to get nervous when dropping him off at the groomers. When I picked him up he looked and smelled great! I couldnât thank her enough for being so patient with my pet. Will be returning!

Amy and her staff are the best! I adopted my cat from there after she rescued him from a hurricane. He just went back to get groomed and trimmed and they were so nice and helpful. Cannot recommend them enough!

Before writing this review, I decided to wait a few weeks so that my review was fair and not based on emotion. Hereâs the short of my review: Donât be surprised when your pet comes home with fleas. Here is my experience, itâs long but honest.I have 2 Persian Cats- both show cats and require grooming from me daily as all Persians do. Every 4 months or so I have them groomed and shaved fully down into lion cuts. I decided I wanted to find a new place local to take my 6 month old.Iâm going to be honest here and say that upon first walking into this shop that I wanted to immediately leave. At first glance you would think you just entered a pet shelter, or a Veterinarianâs office instead of a grooming salon. I didnât count the number of cats running around inside or the amount of animals they had waiting in cages- but the number was high. When I asked about the cats, she said that they were just âshop catsâ and harmless. Against my better judgment, I left my cat and went home. She called about an hour later, and said he was ready for pick up.When I went in to pick him up, I asked how he did since it was his first time. She replied that it went well, and that he was just a bit wiggly. I made another appointment for my older cat the following week and left. Now, I will give credit where itâs due. The haircut was decent. She did what I asked l, and I was happy with that aspect of it.However, right away I noticed that my cat was biting at himself. Thatâs very unusual behavior for him so I started checking him over. I spotted something black on his paw. I went to grab it and wouldnât you know it- a FLEA. I started panicking pretty quickly as neither of my pets have EVER, and I mean never had a single flea. Both have been indoors their entire lives and with constant grooming I would have noticed them, especially on my WHiTE cat. After finding the first flea I immediately called the salon, as I knew right away that he got the 2 adult fleas I picked off of him from her shop. I asked her if she felt like he picked them up there and she actually said to me âwell, when I was shaving him I noticed he had one but I plucked it offâ and I said âwhy wouldnât you have mentioned that to me when I picked him up?â Iâm pretty certain that as a groomer, I wouldnât want to groom an animal with fleas for fear of exposing the other animals. The fact that she didnât mention the flea that she found on him at pick up shows her intention. She was hoping she got the flea, and that I wouldnât know any different upon bringing him home. So, after she tried persuading me into believing her lie, she said I could bring him back for a flea dip, but would have to pay for it. Can you even believe it?Then she told me to bath my cat in Dawn Dish liquid, as if he wasnât stressed out enough from the situation- sure, let me now give him a bath. đWhat horrible customer service. To not only deny that he picked up the fleas from one of the many animals running around in there, she still wanted more money from me without taking any ownership or responsibility. After turning down her generous offer, (insert sarcasm) I quickly ran to My vets office to pick up flea treatments for not only 1 cat but 2. So instead of spending $70 that day on grooming plus tip, I paid double that for flea treatments. My husband called her for me while I was running to the vet, and he asked if all pets are checked for fleas upon being groomed, and that was a no. She claimed that her shop had no fleas, even though admittedly saying she doesnât check the animals for them. She swore that there was no way that he could have picked up a couple fleas within the hour timeframe, to which my husband asked her, how long would it take? I mean come on. When you have animals lined up in cages how could fleas not jump from one animal to the next? This could have been settled had she taken even a bit of ownership or accountability, instead she was hostile and unprofessional. Find another groomer to give your business to. Or if you decide to go here, beware of fleas.

My name is Amy and I am the owner of Amyâs Pet Parlor. In regards to Miss Keeleys review I would like to just say this. She has 2 13 yr old dogs. One which requires more time than the other as it bites and requires a muzzle. The other has cataracts which also requires a bit more time to ensure the dog does not have a bad experience. A single groom we tell customers takes 3-4 hours. This was a double appointment with 2 seniors dogs. So yes. It absolutely did take 4.5 hours on a Saturday which is our busiest day of the week. Secondly the dog was not nicked bad and bleeding and upset. An apology was given twice when you brought the dog back in because yes there was a scratch on the top layer of skin. I told you that I have never and would never do anything to a dog on accident and not tell an owner or try to hide something. Which when I squeezed and moved it around there was not a drop of blood and the dog did not even feel nor was he upset in any way. You demanded you bring the dog back in for me to see the nick. On the phone it went from âthe dog was bleeding profuselyâ to âbleeding a little bitâ and by the time you came back in it was âjust a spot on your husbandâ Yes I have been doing this for 18 years and I stand behind my work and my business ethic. I would never nick a dog on accident and not tell an owner. As for the time if you can find a groomer to do 2 senior dogs in less time with a better haircut and a better environment/experience good luck to you!!

Patient, generous pricing, and job well done. Our Lab Retriever (Honey) and Husky (Roxy) looked beautiful and felt great when Amys groomed/de-shedded them. Amy even lied for the Husky and said she was well behaved for her! Honey and Roxy definitely be back to get rid of that spring coat soon.

I had a 9am appointment on Saturday for my two Havanese dogs to get groomed. 4.5 hours later, they were finally done. My dogs are 13 years old and have been getting groomed all their life. They have NEVER taken that long! Upon arriving home with my dogs, I noticed one of them was acting funny. My husband went to pick him up and noticed blood on his hand. We quickly realized the dog had been nicked pretty bad - and no one told us! I called Amyâs to inquire and was told they would have known if they nicked my dog. (So Iâm lying?). They then said to bring the dog back. I drove all the way back only to hear that they must have nicked the dog, but the dog didnât do anything so they had no idea. I was told that theyâve been doing this for 18 years & always report when a dog is hurt. Well, you hurt mine & an apology at least would have shown you cared. But, there was no apology - true character shown. I wonât ever go back!

If you want a good groomer, take your pet to Amy's Pet Parlor. You will not be disappointed. They do special needs pets and cats, too! Your best friend(s) are definitely safe here!

Having been tired of the inconsistent job another groomer in Oakdale has been doing, I noticed this advertisement in our local gym in McDonald. I told the fiance about it and she gave them a call and set up an appointment for our dog, Ralphie. We were both impressed with the job that they did on him. I was told they were friendly and didn't have too much trouble with him (I believe he was scarred from a Petsmart experience a year ago). We will certainly be back.

They cut my dogs nails way too short. She will not even let us touch her paws and if we do she whimpers in pain.

My wife took our cat to Amy's Pet Parlor yesterday and he came back looking the best he ever has after a grooming appointment. We will definitely be taking him back again and I will get some pictures next time and post again.

Our Baxter loves going here for grooming. No puppy trauma or drama, which hasn't been the case at a couple of previous groomers.
