Such a lovely place! My friend and I had such a great time playing with the cats, you can really tell the staff loves them. Both the cat room and the room you first walk in were clean. I saw a review that said something along the lines of more cat less cafe, which is true though I didn’t see this as a problem. The cats are all such sweethearts! My personal favorite was Lisa, she’s just the biggest cuddle bug. The name of my friends favorite was Selena, she’s there with her brother Orion, they were very playful kittens. Our hour absolutely flew by and we will 100% be returning!

Rescue shelter for cats open for adoption. You can reserve up to an hour online to come hang out with cats. They also do events if you want to host an event here and chill with cats. Meow meow purr!!!

Ahhh I loved it! The cafe is 100% volunteer run. They have a coffee machine and some snacks if you’re so inclined. We booked online but they are accepting some walk ins as well. It was a $10 donation per person for an hour. The volunteers were super helpful since this was our first visit. The cat room has a bunch of hideys, toys and towers to keep the kitties entertained as well as a few couches and chairs for the humans to hang out. We were introduced to all the kitties and she gave us a bit about their purrsonalities. Place was very clean and well maintained. Highly recommend visiting if you need a serotonin boost. If you are unable, there is a huge window with a bench in front where you’re able to watch them play or run in the giant wheel.

I went here to donate some cat treats and I also paid for 30 minutes of time with all the cute lil cats.I so wish I had the space to adopt them all....they are so lovable and playful. They all seem very happy and well taken care of.This is a great place to come visit if you are a cat lover and also if you're looking to foster one of these babies. Most of them are around the age of 1 year old, some slightly younger and older.

Wonderful, clean, and fun. They do yoga, story time, and birthday parties. They also have times when they’re open and you can go in and pay to play with the cats. It is run by a nonprofit and they are all volunteers. No paid employees. I love it there! The cats are all up for adoption. I adopted my car from there.

Hello! Just wanted to say that I am obsessed with cats and this is my go to place to see some Fluffy Friends messing around in the Cat Lounge. I love this place and it’s a perfect spot to go for cat lovers. Cats are all in awesome condition (some more playful than others) And the staff is super nice and helpful! Was there for a couple holiday events, and they offer some homemade treats at holiday events, too.! My absolute favorite cat that I’ve ever seen there is Tigger the orange tabby. His personality was very cool!I highly recommend! 🐈🐈⬛🐈🐱(However, I did want to leave a note at the end for the only con. The lady at the front is quite rude, but all other volunteers are very kind!)

Cat Nook Cafe is such a great place to visit! Every cat is so friendly and the staff is wonderful too. It’s evident how hard they work to make the environment clean and welcoming. I highly recommend visiting and or donating or volunteering with ACDC Rescue. They do great work!

What a great way to meet and get to know a kitty or kitties before you adopt.Every kitty has a different personality and here is the place you can interact with the kitties because they are free to roam around and you can get to know each kitty while you play with them or just listen to the purrs when they snuggle up on your lap.I would highly recommend you contact and visit the Cat Nook Café if you are thinking about having a furbaby be part of your family. If I could I would adopt all of the kitties I got to meet😻

Nice little place to visit some lovely felines. You are here to pet and play with cats, though, not for the cafe menu - as there is none. To be clear, this place is more of a cat rescue and adoption center, and not really a cafe where you hang out for the WiFi, coffee, and treats. Don’t expect there to be an open mic night hosted here - this is strictly for the benefit of the beautiful furry friends that are cared for with lots of love and attention! Please visit, support the establishment, adopt a cat, and don’t expect a tailored espresso beverage.

Making a decision about what cat to adopt is the hardest part. The room is full of very friendly cats.

Very nice! Reasonably priced time slots to keep the kitties from being too overwhelmed, clean facilities, & knowledgeable staff. Cats look healthy & happy. We had a lovely time

The place was okay- not really a Cafe. 10 dollars an hour to look at the cats. There were not many cats. Aproximately maybe 10 to 13 cats.

Awful experience. Took my 12 and eight year-old here to meet the cats and to give a donation. They were angels and very kind to the animals. The woman at the front (not the friendliest individual to begin with) came in five minutes before our time to go and yelled at my son for holding up a rainbow toy next to a cat’s face to show me how cute he was with it. He never touched, hurt or upset him. It was awful. My son was really good sport about it. I chose not to make an issue of it since we were on our way out, and so as not to disturb other guests and upset, my kids, but I feel I should’ve addressed it at the time. It was grossly inappropriate and unprofessional. We are a family of animal lovers, with a high regard for their care. I never accept anything less from my kids when it comes to animals or humans. I chose not to cause an argument because she seemed unreasonable to begin with. However, I believe that humans deserve just as much respect as animals.

Creative and fun place for those who enjoy cats or even need to just relax! A quiet, calm environment that kids enjoy, as well as adults. Seems like a great mom and pop type business to support!

What a joy! If you're feeling down and hopeless about the state of the world visit the Cat Nook Cafe to be reminded that this world still has light in it. The cats were very friendly and playful and you could tell the standard of care was amazing.

The cafe was cute, they have the cutest cats but the lady at the front was VERY RUDE. She had no sense of how to act with paying customers. She just had awful energy. Loved the cats but will not recommend this place to my friends and won’t be coming back.

The staff is rude. Would not recommend. Didn't even make it through the door before getting an attitude from behind the counter. No thanks.

Such an adorable place for adults and children! Come play with the cats, and if you can, adopt one! You can always donate your time and money to help the staff and animals as well. You can host parties here too! All ages are welcome!

I am writing this review based on my personal experience with ACDC's adoption process, NOT Cat Nook Cafe (which deserves a 5/5 no doubt!).I do not recommend acdc at all.My girlfriend and I have have sent in multiple applications, properly and adequately filled in, to adopt cats that would seem like great fits with our 1.5 year old orange tabby Persimmon. I understand that we are not entitled to any adoptions, and I also understand that ACDC is run primarly as a non-profit, so mostly volunteers. So I do not feel entitled at all to anything. However, I have given up trying to adopt through ACDC because the process I can only say about this place is "unresponsive". We have sent in 3 applications with about 1-2 months between each application, so we are not spamming them with applications. Each application is *long*, so we put in as much detail as we can. It's definitely not a "fun" process per se, but we understand that the folks need to make a good judgement on how to allocate cats so they go to the right home. For each application that we spend a lot of time in, we have never received a single response. Not a phone call, not an email, not a text, nothing. We assume that the cats are just gone, but these are all assumptions. What's a bit annoying about this process is that the cats that we are interested still appear to be on their website saying they are still ready for adoption. However, we are ghosted. I have tried calling or emailing, being extremely proactive about the whole process, but still nothing. It's like the whole organization is a black box that you cannot reach, and they only reach out to you. Which it kind of is because their phone number is voice mail only, their physical location is mailing address only, and they never respond to emails.Again, I am sure the ACDC non-profit tries their best with volunteers, and they definitely provide great care for their animals judging by the Instagram posts and successful adoptions. But my experience with the adoption process is one that my girlfriend and I will never go back to because they are such a blackbox.Go with another adoption center that actually has a human you can talk to, at the bare minimum.

Did the yoga with cats. The cats were sweet and friendly. The instructor was great, and everyone was friendly. The cafe part is a bit light

Took my daughter and her friend to enjoy some time with the kitties. They sat and patted the cats while I drank my coffee. The cats were all very sweet and friendly. Very calming being there with the kitties. Highly recommend for a coffee break.

The person was very nice that I spoke to by phone. A little disappointed that not just Cat Nook Cafe, but all shelters did not want the kittens that were living in my garage. I guess no one had room !!!

Tried adopting a cat who's been available for 6 months. I was told there were certain requirements the foster parent set in place, but I was not allowed to speak with the foster to see if there was any flexibility. I'm incredibly disappointed, I hope the cat gets adopted soon. It's unfortunate to see several other cats under their care in the same situation.
