This is one of those unique places that's bigger on the inside than the outside. I feel like they must have at least one of everything, cause every time i hi there, THEY'VE GOT IT!Fun stuff, great knowledgeable helpful staff. You will not be disappointed

we chose johnsons to put in 2 furnaces for us. real good company and real good people. has in issue with the thermostat hooked up to a wood burner. The amazing Joe made it all right and real. highly recommend johnsons. they do it right and make it right

I’m not quite sure what “Larry Miller” is talking about. He must not be the sharpest tool in the hardware store himself. Every time I’ve been in this Ace location I have received unparalleled service and assistance. The employees are friendly and happy to help. They always help me get what I need. Would highly recommend.

I had ordered plexiglass back on June 23rd. I haven't received a phone call from them since. I have called in a few times and even stopped by and they have had no idea when it was coming in. I stopped in yet again today and spoke to the manager who had ordered it. He couldn't find my order and they didn't have any in stock yet again. He said that they had gotten the plexiglass in 3 weeks ago and assumed that my order was filled. Now, they want $99 for the same sheet that was $43 back in June. He said it's because it is costing them $63 to get it in, yet they are upscale it by almost $40 more. They have lost my business

I love this store! It's a little more expensive than the "big box" stores, but the employees are always willing to help the customer. Courteous, helpful employees & clean surroundings. You can't go wrong when you shop here.

They have just about all your hardware needs plus the staff are very helpful and will carry out your product or load your stuff witch is great when you have a disability,The staff has a good demeanor and are nice to talk to. Johnson's also has a Ac& heating service , and a fire arms service and sales .

I grew up in Norvelt, but moved away years ago. Whenever I come back to visit family I always support local businesses, and this is why I went to Johnson's Hardware. On May 21st I dropped off a storm door window frame that needed the glass replaced. When I dropped it off the fellow said that it would be ready the next day and I would be called for pickup. No one called on the 22nd. On the 23rd I stopped in at Johnson's to check on the window. Marian said that it would be done today and that I would be called when completed. No call came on the 23rd so I stopped in the next day to find out the status of the window. Ron, a Johnson's employee, told me that the window was not ready and that it would be done "the next day or two". I couldn't wait another day or two so I asked Ron for the frame, and I would take it elsewhere. As my wife and I were explaining to Ron why we couldn't wait he just turned and walked away from us. If this is how customers are usually treated I can see why I never see many people shopping there! As we were walking out of the store with the frame Marian must have heard my wife and me talking about how disappointed we were in Johnson's Hardware customer service. Later that afternoon Marian called me and apologized for how we were treated. As far as we are concerned, Marian is an all-star. Side note: We took the frame to Terry's Auto Glass on Route 30, and they replaced the glass the same day.

Had them fix a screen door. Took a couple weeks. When we got it home the screen was sagging & coming undone at the edges. We fixed it ourselves so we wouldn't have to go back.
