I ordered a piece of fried rice noodles at Star Garden Chinese Restaurant. I really liked it. I also ordered a piece of hot and sour soup. It was very appetizing. It is a very good restaurant. I will always support them. It is hygienic and clean. The environment is comfortable and there is parking. There are many kinds of dishes. I like the Chinese milk tea in their store the most. Their set meals are also very cost-effective. I will always pay attention to Star Garden.

The Best Takeout Food Spot in the Area! I always recommend Star Garden to friends and family, and am ALWAYS pleased by the quality of both the food and the great service! The employees are kind and helpful, and the wait is not very long. I always love ordering the Cream Cheese Wontons, and the Pork Fried Dumplings!Overall, I wholeheartedly believe Star Garden is a Must-Stop location for everyone!

I recently had the pleasure of ordering online takeout from Star Garden Thai and Chinese Restaurant in Northumberland, Pennsylvania, and I must say, it was a delightful experience. Absolutely great food, fast as well (bonus points for a fish tank to watch if you get there too early!)I got the chicken lo mein and spring rolls, they are exactly the taste I was trying to find in this area. 10/10 would recommend!Parking: Decent sized parking area. Two entrances (I think, only used one) A front entrance that I believe leads into a dining area, and an entrance that is closer to the checkout that opens up to the parking area

2 stars at best. All the people waiting for food park handicap and the young boy is the only person managing customers. Stop giving pitty reviews.I pulled up seeing a 4.7* review hoping food good quality. I first noticed that all the customers doing takeout park handicap with no tags or permits. Shame on the owners.When entering the store there is a long line of frustrated customers. We sat at a nearby table and served by a young teen.We ordered a chicken curry which was more like a chicken coconut curry, wonton soup and a vegetarian soup for my wife. The food was ok.The young man was the only person managing the register, he was also the waiter too. I noticed a few customers who retuned takeout because the order was wrong. Hard to be frustrated toward the young teen doing all the customers facing work.On my departure I found two vehicles illegally parked in handicap getting jumped. Ironic?!? They waited so long their batteries died. It was hard to get my wheelchair around them because the parking lot is not paved. I returned to my car at the end of the lot.

I order food for myself and husband very seldom, but since my grandchildren were here for an extended visit we decided to order out a few meals. And well went you have 6 to feed it can sure get expensive…. But I have to say went we ordered from Start Garden we ended up with enough food for several meals. The best thing about it is you can order online… you can see everything on the menu and even though they didn’t have my Shrimp Toast which is one of my all-time favorites appetizers, when ordering Chinese food. The food was delicious and plentiful. When ordering online you can choose your sides individually so you don’t end up with a ton of leftover white rice that nobody wants to eat. The menu gives you all the options for fried rice and noodles etc. some selections have a bit of an up-charge but if you order what you want and like it is so worth it. We had dinner and my grandkids had lunch the next day and I still had an entire pot of fried rice to serve with dinner.. this place is amazing… thanks for being 5 stars Star Garden 😋

Typical Chinese joint. A lot of us at my work order lunch from here. They are really good at customizing things. One of my coworkers always wants no veggies in her pork fried rice, and they always get it right. They do have a way to order online, but I've never used this service.

This is a take-out only restaurant that delivers the best Chinese food in the area. We do take out several times a month. Shrimp fried rice is very good as is the hot and sour soup. Fried dumplings are good; the chicken wings are usually good although sometimes overcooked. We are not fans of the ribs which vary from just OK to yuk. Most of the dinners are very good. They also serve some Thai dishes. We enjoyed the Pad Thai. Service is quick and pleasant. Definitely recommended.

I ordered a healthy meal of steamed chicken and broccoli and my father enjoyed the roast porked and cold sesame noodles. The portions were so generous, we had enough for lunch the very next day. The restaurant is extremely clean. The counter, dining area and even the bathrooms, are well cared for. Although this restaurant is tucked away, you shouldn't overlook the location.

New Star Garden is one of my favorites in the area! Don't let the small building scare you away. I was surprised to find that the restaurant has a cozy dine-in area and some of the best Chinese food in the area. I recommend the steamed dumplings. Nothing better than 8 wonton dumplings to start off a meal (the price is very reasonable for an appetizer too). My beef and broccoli combination platter was also perfect... not fatty or chewy like the meat some Chinese restaurants serve. I highly recommend this place. It is a hidden gem!

I just spent over $25 to have an $11 meal delivered 3 blocks away,,,and that's my fault, but my complaint is, this isn't my first delivery order from Star Gardens, and there isn't napkins or a few packets of sauce or fortune cookie; just the meal and a fork.For paying that amount of money there should be the extras you get with a meal you pick up or eat there. Last order the 6 shrimp were spoiled. I called and was told I needed to come to the restaurant to get replacements, they wouldn't credit my account. I just tossed the whole meal. I think I have given enough fair chances. I need to move on. On a positive note, the food is good, except the one time spoiled shrimp.

Best Chinese food around! Great service and nice people.Update 06/09/2018.We got a combination plate tonight and our initial thought was to spit it out. It tasted chemically, almost exactly like windex . Come to find out food when hitting the stage of spoiling it taste like ammonia. Ammonia is the main ingredient of windex. We have never had a bad experience here until today, but this one bad experience has ruined it for us.We will not eat here again. Any place that serves bad food doesn't deserve repeat business. I do not know if the construction is hurting their business and their trying to use everything they have but either way it is unacceptable.
