Amazing hot fudge brownie sundae!!! Loved it!!! Warm homemade brownie chunks, delicious soft serve (I got all chocolate icecream), thick hot fudge, huge portion size, peanut crumble topping, whipped cream, juicy cherry, beautifully assembled, and served with a friendly smile. This was my first time here, and I'll definitely be back for another sundae! The menu has lots of sundae choices.

I genuinely didn't enjoy anything about my meal. The haluski was the worst I've ever had. It was essentially crispy/burnt cabbage with Italian seasoning. Coincidently, the chicken and waffles were also the worst I've ever had. The chicken was very dry, the gravy left a very weird aftertaste, and the waffles were cold. Service was slow as there was only one waitress, but she was really nice. Wouldn't come back.

Wow....what great local food! I've had the liver and onions which was tender and flavorful. We recently ate here and my mom had the beef tips w/gravy over noodles. It smelled and looked just like it came out of a recipe book! I had the chicken and waffles it was so great to have this dish in the Penn-Dutch style... so good. It brought back memories of grandma's cooking. The hot bacon dressing was a little too congealed, thick and not hot but the flavor was yummy.The service was efficient and friendly.You get a lot of food at competitive prices.Find a way to eat here.

Not sure how to rate service.You order and pay for your food at the cash register. There are no wait staff.The food is brought to the table by the kitchen staff. It's unusual but it worked. No complaint.The restaurant looked clean and was nicely decorated.Food was good.

I would have to agree with a few of the most recent reviews. Food has definitely taken a turn for the worse. I returned my entire meal . They have taken the cheaper route on lesser quality especially their chicken tenders. Not chicken anymore and that makes it overpriced to say the least. I also had to go up and ask for our drinks after 15 minutes . Probably short staffed and trying to cut corners with food options. Noone offered to refund my meal or offered any alternatives. Brought kids here while they are visiting for the holidays. Very disappointing!

I love the area and atmosphere!! It's not set up like a regular restaurant more like a church diner. Two long tables down the middle and random ones on the sides. I love the food options. Variety is good but unfortunately I didn't care for one or two things but the rest was great. We also had dessert and a shake. Yum. It's just a stick to your ribs kinda food.

Got the meat lovers salad and it was missing the bacon. It was a good size and I took half of it home. Others dining with me complained their food was too salty. One ordered the 6 large shrimp dinner but received several small shrimp, you would expect to fund in a shrimp basket. The fries were extremely salty as well. Will probably never go there again.

Ordered the turkey and filling. LOUSY. Did not eat it. Got hot lettuce and it was lettuce with a glob on top.did not eat. Ordered a peach milkshake and when it came out it was white and tasted just like a vanilla shake. My sister ordered haluski and it came out black. She told the waitress and she said it was not burnt it looked like that. We paid over $60 for this food and did not eat any of it. She did not offer any discount or anything to make us happier. I would not reccomend this place to anyone. This is why they make you pay BEFORE you get your food. Horrible food and service. Beware of this place.

I’ve had food at Ric Mar over the last few years and it is consistently delicious and great! I love the salads, grilled chicken, chicken and waffles…I could list way more but those are my favorites. I recently just tried their breakfast and of course, it was great! The ice cream is the best soft serve in the area, no question. It’s creamy and not frozen tasting. All the sundae combinations are so good.Service has always been great and the staff are attentive, accommodating, and pleasant to be around.Love this place!

1st time here ever!!! Don't worry I will be coming back for sure!!! I was drooling at everyone's food as it came out.The chicken potpie looked delicious, chicken & waffles, the salads, my blt was delicious!!!Thank You RicMar for putting your heart&soul into this food!!!!

Honestly the food was really lacking. The ice cream and related desserts were decent, but most of what we had was pretty bad. I'd say its good for "hey let's go get ice cream!" But we wouldn't go back for food. The chicken tenders were truly, truly awful and disgusting, fries were different than the photo on the menu, hot lettuce was bad, the onion rings and shrimp were ok. We got apple dumplings and the apple part was pretty good, but it was really an apple surrounded by horrible puff pastry, not even actually formed into a dumpling. It wasn't decent puff pasty either, it was bad. The staff were very nice and helpful, had no issues with them personally.

We recently visited this restaurant with my wife's family for dinner and I would say that the general experience was average. The staff is very friendly and courteous and the atmosphere is very casual.Overall the food was solidly average, there wasn't much on the menu that I like, and you could tell that it was close to the end of the night, and close to a delivery day when we went in.Some of the produce in the salads and on the sandwiches you could tell were near the end of their use day and not as fresh as they could be. Still safe to eat and plenty tasty, but not picked five minutes ago. (Can't blame a restaurant for not wanting to waste ingredients that are still usable in today's environment!)The fried chicken wing appetizer was very well cooked with a perfect crisp to the outside while retaining the perfect level of moist in the meat.The apple dumplings which my wife and I took home and enjoyed the next morning were very good as well. Definitely willing to give them another try to see if they can earn that 5th star!

Honestly I was a little disappointed. There are no waitresses you have to go up to the cash register and place your order and pay for it before you even get it. There was four of us at the table two of us got our food and then 20 minutes later the other two got their food. Food was okay but not great honestly was a little disappointed.

My wife and stopped here for breakfast today and we were not disappointed. Cozy atmosphere and the wait staff was very friendly. We both had the SOS and my wife had it over just toast and I had mine over the homefries and toast. Portions were HUGE and the prices were very reasonable. We both left stuffed and with leftovers! We will definitely stop back to try more of the menu!

We stopped in for breakfast on our way from Newport, Pa to Kalahari. This place is nice and very clean. They had a nice selection of breakfast dishes. We had 4 adults and 4 kids and everyone enjoyed their breakfast. The service was a little slow but it was a Thur morning and we weren’t in a big hurry so it was not a big deal for us. I assume it was because of the size of our party. We would definitely stop here again if in the area.

Food quality has really taken a hit since the pandemic. Chicken and waffles gravy was horrible- tasted like from a jar at Aldis. Last time I was there I had chicken pit pie. That used be one of their best dishes, but certainly isn't now. Will l not go back until pandemic is over.
