Oh my goodness!!! Today was Finns first trip to the groomer and I was so worried. Two hours later I got a call from Renee that he was finished. I walked in and saw the most amazing sight. He was perfect! Happy, wagging his tail not scared at all. Renee did an amazing job with his haircut. Thank you so much Renee, I will always bring him to you without any fear or worries.

Before and after. This is our gorgeous corgi, Lucy. She is happiest outside when she can patrol her yard and roll in whatever smells good to her that day. She also sheds like it is her job. She is part of our family, is in the house with us and goes where we go. We brush her double coat regularly but it is not enough. She needs to be groomed. I had tried another groomer but Lucy developed a rash...twice. Also her sheddding remained a big problem. A coworker recommended Renee. I called and she was very accommodating and informative. She requested proof of current vaccinations and a kennel cough shot prior to our appointment to ensure the safety of the other dogs that she grooms. I also learned that she attended grooming school and goes yearly to continuing education seminars for groomers to better her skills. This is not a requirement but she does it on her own to provide the best care to her clients that she can. We love Renee and are so happy we found her. Lucy loves her too and is never nervous about her appointment. She is passionate about providing the best service she can. She also truly cares for the dogs she grooms. She is very knowledgeable about each breed and what the grooming standard is. She also lets you know if there is a concern you should see your vet about. It is unbelievable how much less dog hair I have to vacuum since going to her and Lucy has never had any skin issues after her groom. Renee is also very professional, calls to confirm our appointments the night before and keeps them. If your dog is part of the family like ours, Renee is worh every penny and then some. We absolutely love her. Anyone can bathe a dog but it takes a trained professional to properly groom them.

Yesterday was the first day that I used pampered paws to groom my doodle, and from my bad experiences in the past with other local groomers I was hesitant. But after meeting Renee and hearing about her passion for grooming, years of experience and speaking to me about her continuing her education to be more dedicated into wanting to learn and wanting to take the best care of our animals put my mind at ease. When I picked up my doggy he was wagging his tale, unlike past times with other groomers and him being scared and shaken definitely sealed the deal for me to be a loyal customer for life. After picking him up she communicated very well with every thing she has done, and her recommendations to keep your fur baby looking happy and healthy. Excellent service.

Full disclosure: Renee at Pampered Paws hired me to create her website. But that was only after being a loyal customer of hers when she worked for another grooming business, and I was thrilled to jump at the chance to help her get her new business off the ground because I think so highly of her and her work.Now that that's out of the way, Renee at Pampered Paws is the best groomer I've been to in the Susquehanna Valley. My dog has never been "easy" in any sense of the word and Renee found that out. But what I love so much about Renee is that she puts in the extra effort. She takes notes on your pet and remembers their personality, behavior, and what treatments and service you prefer from visit-to-visit. Within just a few trips to Renee my dog actually looked forward to seeing her and has no problem with Renee trimming his nails or blow-drying his fur, which is something I cannot say for myself!Renee made my wild little rescue dog putty in her hands. He comes home clean and happy and smelling nice, and I can't recommend Pampered Paws highly enough.
