I travel to Furry Friends for any issues and checkups involving my two cats and two dogs, even though there are closer vets available. I am always impressed with the extreme care we receive from the caring vet and office staff, and the fair pricing.

Great vet, office personal are very accommodating and nice. Prices are fair. My only issue is if you bring in multiple pets at once, they change an office visit for each one. Other than that, it's great.

Nothing but amazing this place is fantastic! After having my dog to 2 other vets in the past few years and having them nickle and dime me, this vet is very fairly priced!

My sister's dog was constantly itching. Took Bruno to be seen and of course he has allergies. The staff were all amazing! He's shy/alert and skittish with new people. They gave him an allergy shot and his rabies booster. The vet was a pro with him. We will definitely be going back to them as needed.

I love this place but you can't get in. Last time I called the help hung up on me two times before I was even able to speak to her. Now she tells me that it will take two weeks to get my lab in to be seen for an ear infection. The receptionist basically said go somewhere else. I'm flabbergasted. They just lost a customer. I was loyal to them for years. Out of necessity, no more.

Excellent care for our cat. The team is supportive and kind. Dr. Busshaus took the time to explain what our cat needed.

Worst vet experience ever. Had to take my dog back 2 times after his initial surgery because they didn’t stitch him properly the first time. They tried to accuse my dog of “getting at it” when he most certainly did not. It was just their terrible stitching job. The first time they gave him dissolvable stitches on a huge wound and the second time they did it where they all popped out the second he moved his leg! You might think you’re getting a good deal with their pricing, but that’s because they’ll have you back paying again and again. As well as the way the treat the animals is as if they’re not even living creatures. I will never give my money to them again and I can assure you that you shouldn’t either!

This place is great. They are high quality at the best prices in like an hour radius. I’d only take my animals here anymore.

Started going to Furry Friends because I heard good things and didn’t like my previous vet. First time I was there was OK. Second time, I took my pregnant dog in and she has some anxiety no biggie but when I can hear them yelling at her because she wasn’t doing what they wanted her to do was a bit ridiculous but I knew she was scared. Last time I was in, I had taken the puppies in to get their shots and checkups. The vet was very rude, screaming at the puppies because they weren’t being still, they weren’t swallowing the pills. Telling the dogs they were bad dogs, it was a horrible experience. I thought she was about to kill the one pup but slamming the pill pusher down its throat. Let’s just say for all the yelling and irritableness of the vet, I AM NOT GOING BACK! Worst vet experience of my life! She did not care at all about those puppies!

Do not take your pets here! Dropped off twin kittens here for a routine spay. The first one died before surgery was even performed. She was to have a good life. House cat only. Not enough care was given to this poor baby. They administered the general anesthesia and left her unmonitored. How do I know this? The other twin was given preoperative medication. When we were called and given the bad news they wanted to know if the other twin should have the surgery and of course we opted not to do it. Separate animals-should have had separate operative times. The notes stated "they noticed" the first baby wasn't breathing. Wondering how long it took for them to "notice". They did no preoperative blood work which after speaking with other vets that is a thing (which I was not aware). After the incident, the vet herself did not even come talk to me. Hiding in the back which was very unprofessional and denotes a sense she did something wrong. Sent the vet tech out to do the dirty work. Saddest part of this situation was I had to take the living twin home alone. She began crying and bawling for her missing sibling. They have been together since birth and adopted together for a reason. Neglectful and unprofessional!

I called Furry Friends for an appointment for my cat. I told them we needed someone to see her because she has a sore that won't heal They told me it would be about 4 to five weeks before they could see her. I told them I would call them back if I cannot find another vet who can see her sooner because I was afraid to let the sore go any longer. After calling around I found only one other vet that could see her within three or four weeks. So I called Furry Friends back and asked them wat was the soonest I could get my cat in and they HUNG UP ON ME! What more do I need to say?

Friendly and efficient staff, ultra clean environment, and patient veterinarian. All is well that ends well. Pet feels the same way, wants to go back for some of those biscuits on the counter.

Love this vet. They always get my pup in quickly and their prices are very reasonable. They never push unnecessary testing and always help you out with the most cost effective solution (but the one that will also help your pet out properly!).

Have been going to Furry Friends for a couple of years now. 9/14/18 - Unfortunately, I just was told today that they do not extend any sort of payment plan for seniors on a fixed income. They are aware that my dog is in bad shape and the only suggestion was for me to check with other vets to see if they offer a payment plan. Unfortunately, most vets - in this area at least, are BUSINESSES and in it for the money. Forget about the health of your pet.

Do not take your pet here. Pay $$$ for a Google diagnosis you can do yourself. Tried to tell them there was something wrong with my pet but it was made out to be nothing serious. Took her to another vet after symptoms progressed but it was too late to save her.

This place is horrible. It looks shady, the employees aren't very nice. They keep having me back every month for things they could do in one visit , obviously so they can charge me an additional appointment fee, just overall not impressed with anything here so I switched.

If I could rate them a zero I would but they make you chose at least one star. We ended up having to take our dog to the emergency Vet in Watsontown which they did an amazing job. They told us to call Furry Friends in the morning and have them change our afternoon appointment to the morning. Our dog has an abscessed tooth and he was in a lot of pain. A dog that never whines was whining. A dog that eats all the time now refusing food. So to say the least I was worried and felt horrible how much pain he was in.So when I called the receptionist was rude to say the least. I explained what happened and her comment was “well I dont even have my computer on but we won’t have any appointments to get you in earlier”. Then she asked me if I wanted to keep my appointment for next week, which i questioned I thought our appointment was for today and got a rude comment. I again explained how concerned I was about our dog and her comment back again was “well we cant see him before that” i said even for an emergency. Her comment was can call other clinics and see if they can help you because we can’t. I said are you serious right now? And again she says so are you going to keep your appointment? Annoyed and upset I hung up almost in tears and shaking because of how rude she was.So i called Sunbury Animal Hospital and they were so nice, I am sure could hear the concern in my voice and told me that they would help him. As I was on the phone with them my fiancé got an appointment with Susquehanna Trail Animal hospital. And even still Sunbury Animal Hospital was willing to help and wishes him well and told me if things didn't work out to call her right back.I then decided even though i was angry I would still do the right thing and call and cancel our 3pm appointment even though I didn't want to. So I called and said we will be canceling our 3pm and they could close our account (I wasn’t rude just stern). The girl says “ok I will can take care of that for you”. Not, I am sorry we didn't have the time to get you in earlier , not hope everything ends up ok with your dog nothing. We have never given this place a reason to treat us like pond scum but thats exactly how I felt. Felt like our dog didn't matter. Our retired police dog that served and protected. A member of our family. Shame on you Furry Friends!!!!

A year ago I brought my dog in because she randomly started having seizures. They did blood work and I will never forget what the vet said. "She has the lowest calcium levels I have ever seen". She told me the rest of her labs looked normal and they would call me once she has the calcium supplements ordered for us. She also recommended dog foods to switch her to. That all sounded good. We switched her food a few times but she refused to eat anything but what she was use to. I fed her small amounts of cheese everyday while waiting for a phone call from the vet saying her supplements were in. No call ever came and she slowly got better, or so it seemed. I then became pregnant with our second child and started planning our wedding which left me distracted and forgetting that I never did get that phone call. A few months before my son was born my dog started losing control of her bladder. Shortly after that the seizures returned. Now her seizures are much worse than a year ago and her behavior has changed. Turns out she has hypocalcemia and should have been given an IV with calcium along with the supplements until her levels stabilized. This place was recommended because of the price. If I would have known that they litterally would have done nothing to help her I would have gone somewhere else and paid double to fix her properly the first time. Now I'm face with the hard decision of trying to find the money to cure her; which now there is no promise that'll happen, or to end her suffering by putting her down. The only reason I gave this 2 stars is because it was affordable and they were friendly.

We have been very blessed by our connection with fairy friends the vet and staff are reasonably priced and Are blessed to have an on-going relationship with them.

Hard to get an appointment, call backs are promised without knowing if you will get a definite appointment.(Would it be hard to say, "We will definitely get you in today, but we'll have to get back to you with a time," so you didn't have to worry about how long your sick pet needed to wait. I've had to take my pets to the nearest Animal Emergency at the end of the day when I didn't get a return call.I have had no issues with the quality of care, just getting the care in an emergency has been a problem.

Dr. Kayann was great with my boy. He was so scared and in pain, and she took the time to soothe him before beginning his exam. Treats pets like the fur babies they are.

They know what they are doing, work with you to get you in as soon as possible, and they are very respectable. The prices are the cheapest we have found in our area and it not a huge company it's more like a mom and pops store.

Some months ago we found a small (shedding) dog on route 11...it was freezing cold outside. The dog's collar was generic and without a name....we called Furry Friends and asked if we could bring the dog, who was limping, to them until the police could locate the owners...they took her right away. Limp was from the cold road (she stopped limping at the clinic)I was impressed with the immediate and gentle care they gave her.
