The employees are super awesome & helpful. My review has NOTHING to do with the employees, they are great.My complaint with Dollar General is the prices advertised on the shelf are rarely the same when you're at the cash register. It's been happening for a good year now at quite a few different Dollar General stores. The state of Ohio is in the process of suing Dollar General for this exact reason.

The store is dirty and cluttered…Employees are rude and lazy…The reason the store looks the way it does is because 99 % of the time the employees are outside smoking…You go in there and there is only one employee and the others are no where to be found… DOWN RIGHT DISGUSTING… Who ever the regional manager is, they should be ashamed of themselves for letting that store look the way it does…

Great little store for a cup of food items they also have some other items a little mechanic spot have some other stuff and knickknacks a frozen food section sa overall nice place

Wanted to give Tonia Bruner a review, she was so nice even though they were busy....usually I get someone who doesn't even talk but she carried on a convo with my sister and I and even reminded us how many bags we had so we didn't forget them...10/10 service if she is there!! The store HAS slowly progressed in looks since they hired a new store manager, I will give it that. However, not only can I agree that the store is unorganized and there is rarely help when you need it right away due to the lack of employees, but I have personally worked here. I have mentioned the following behavior to the district manager but she is a part of this whole thing so obviously nothing was done and I have not gotten any answers to my message. Part of the reason why this store is so awful is because the employees are too busy bad mouthing about each other, primarily the top 3 managers and two cashiers, to do anything else. The two assistant managers stay in the back during their shift half the time and talk bad about every employee including the store manager. This store is awful and if there are any of their fellow employees that do not agree with them on anything they will shut them down. Not only that but they are so busy doing these things that they don’t come and help their fellow employees even when they are called to the front to do so. I have had so much trouble trying to get the two assistant managers to the front to help me with a long line because they were in the back talking or just back on their cellphones. They take their time or they just do not come to help at all. I hope this is seen by someone that will actually do something about this situation. Someone higher than the hypocrite district manager, who I can also say, has a personal problem with me... and let’s that get in the way of her judgement of me and others who are not the top 3 managers. In my opinion this store doesn’t even deserve ONE star...

Dollar general as a store is fine but this store is always messy and has the most unfriendly staff of any other store. It's bad. They all hate their job honestly. You will stand waiting to check out for 10 minutes while the only 2 workers just stand in an aisle talking while pretending to stick items but the store is constantly full of the big silver box holders in nearly every aisle making impossible to use a cart in the store. If there's something you really want you have to find a box and open it yourself. They have expired stuff on the shelves that should have have been put in the clearance section but they just put items in the clearance section with no price reduction and when you go to check out they just try to charge you full price.

I give them a 4 because I've definitely seen DG's that are more organized and up to date. But they have been tweaking the place and it's not exactly the employee's fault that they can only work with what they are given. The building itself (floors, coolers, heating and AC unit) needs updated. The employees, themselves, have always been friendly and willing to help. So I'm not sure why other customers say otherwise. I know that you tend to get what you give, so maybe that has something to do with it.

I always love looking in Dollar General because you never know what you can find. They have a little bit of everything since I was there yesterday. I bought some cute little lamps three stars and some plastic ivy. I feel like it turned out very nice. What do you all think?

Some of the employees are friendly, but management needs to make sure the employees are thinking more of the customer's than themselves. Three employees working, one waiting on a long line of customers, two walk past the long line and go on break outside. REALLY!! Management needs to work on customer care with their employees. Even if I was the employee working at the register, I would not have been very happy with the other employees going on break at the same time without offering any help with the long line of customers.

The item weren't in the correct spot. Also the items were not properly priced. Stuff on carts all through the store. It's not a store it's a junk yard.

Just at this store today & absolutely hate it! It is NOT organized, the isles are cluttered & can't access them, never organized, & the shelves are rarely stocked!!They also seriously need to hire cashiers that are friendly & show up!Not recommended!Go to the store in Carrolltown!! 1000% better!

The staff here is friendly enough. When I needed help they were there to help. Store seems to be changing for the better. There is one girl her name is Kendra she is very friendly.

Where do i start? The store is full of carts and people, but no employees. The few employees in there must have ghost on because i never see them. Except for that time i saw one behind the counter. But that was a rarity. How they keep the doors open is a mystery.

Always disgusting, 1 register open and a line to the back of the store. The ceiling tiles are missing, the halls have stocking carts blocking your way, it's disorganized and nasty, I'm surprised they haven't been sued for people tripping over the mess in there.

Looked like a rummage sale inside, shelves with the items were unorganized. Fragile item purchased was put into a bag with item that could have broken it. I removed the item from the bag and wrapped it with two bags myself.

Blake is an amazing worker in Northern Cambria. Every time I go in and they are working, I always get a cheerful hello and they help me find whatever I need

This store has all the typical things any Dollar General has. However,this store is always in total disarray. The shelves are jumbled and the isles are blocked with boxes and carts waiting to be emptied. It is not pleasant to try and shop in this store.

The store is unorganized and dirty. Never anyone to help you, and I am disabled. Now tonight I went in and they didn't tighten down the lids and I lost half of my products that had lids on them

It's the Dollar Store. Nothing is a dollar but everything is there. I like the employees at this store and it is new so it is usually pretty tidy unless it's truck day (Tues and Fri)
