Stopped in CVS Northampton to make a couple special pictures. I had the best retailer named Dikim that helped me. I had to make many different sizes of pictures, and had not a clue what to do. This young man was so polite and saved my day. There should be more retailers out there like him. Thank you again Dikim for your excellent service. Very satisfied customer Jill Taylor

8/10 times they will not pick up the phone.8/ 10 they have told me my prescription is not there and then when I question it, they say, " oh I found it?", by looking it up on a different computer. It's a hassle to receive my prescriptions and most cashiers seems checked OUT.

Confirmation for every 1 star rating given to CVS Northampton. If you make an attempt to call the pharmacy to fill or request a prescription you will not have one person in pharmacy pick up the phone. The pics provided (pardon the dust, it’s a job site phone) show the wait times I experienced twice. No one will ever pick up but you’ll be offered Flu and COVID 19 shots every 31.5 seconds while you’re left on hold. So for my attempts to refill my script… I heard it 82 times before I finally relented and went back to work.I’ll have to go in person to get the refill. At which point I’ll likely be given a 20-30 minute wait time while most of the pharmacy department (aside from whom ever might be working the register) stand idle.

I have a controlled substance script and have for years through cvs. Went great. Then Covid and with that a syringe shortage. Totally understandable. BUT there is zero communication. I need this medication on time every time and this, and even when the script is up I get nothing. It became even more frustrating when I went to a small local pharmacy and found they have everything with WAY less hassle and you get treated very well. They even do all the hard work to make sure the script and needs are met.Moral of the story… cvs pharmacy needs to be better about communication. Answer their phones in a timely manner. I understand short staff and todays struggles. But if a small pharmacy can do it… I’m sure the big dawgs can figure it out too. Cvs will now just be a store when I need something quick.

Glad I switched to CVS . They made changing pharmacies effortless. From when I called to see if my prescription was ready to when I picked it up. They were very nice and helpful. They even had my insurance information without me giving it. Very happy with CVS in my hometown.

CVS is a good place to get your all prescription needs especially if you have prescription drug insurance. It does have a drive through which makes it convenient and I rarely see it backed up. If you are in a hurry to get some snacks for you and your family it's a good place to make a quck stop. I personally like CVS when shopping for cosmetics.

Very Nasty Pharmacy People!! Never had such horrific service. One person in particular needs a hell of a lot more then just customer service training. I will NEVER use this location ever again. My advice is drive the extra mile and go to another location.

This pharmacy has me baffled. My husband has had some medical issues and a couple of surgeries. The most recent was last week. The medication was called in four days before his surgery. It is now 13 days later and still no medication. They keep saying it’s the doctors office fault. They’ve also told us a couple of times that there was no medication called in. Completely untrue. Anyway, today we had the doctor transfer it to a different pharmacy. It was ready within an hour. It takes at least 15 minutes to get through to anyone in the pharmacy by phone. We called a different pharmacy today to see about transferring and they said they don’t like working with CVS in Northampton because they don’t answer their phones. I don’t understand the complete lack of customer service. I don’t understand why prescriptions are never ready and why I’m always fourth or fifth in line. I overhear the other customers venting the same frustrations. I wonder if anyone has been a customer at this pharmacy long-term? Is this the normal operations or Are they just going through a really rough patch?

This pharmacy is awful. I have to go here monthly for my Accutane prescription which I know is a highly guarded medication that requires many clearances on mine and my dermatologists end to get, but even after doing everything correctly, this CVS pharmacy NEVER has my medication ready on time. Today they told me they didn’t have the password to get into the website for my med, so they refused it to me. And even when I am somehow able to get it after coming in here the first time, they make me wait 15 minutes to fill it. They really need to do a better job of staying on top of filling ALL prescriptions.

The pharmacy is terrible with customer service and helping customers. Specially the male pharmacist there. They never answer the phone either. Not sure who manages their performance.

The staff at this pharmacy is so rude and act like you are a burden to them when you call or go there. In the app it showed I paid for prescriptions and they tell me I didn’t even though I had a receipt showing it was in the app and could see it hit my bank account. They referred me to an 800 number who could see it and said it was paid for and had to call the pharmacy. It is too bad they have the corner on the market because they are a retail giant. If my company treated customer the way CVS does, we would be out of business.

Absolutely 💯 percent DONE with Northampton, PA CVS. Wouldn't even buy a pack of gum in that store, ever again! Went there for over 20 years to fill my scripts. Just around the spark of the pandemic, 2 women in particular, became really pathetic, lazy and entitled behind that counter! To the point of insults and intimidation. I now use Wegman's!

I have tried several times to use Good RX and single care. Each time i am given a reason not to go through the process. I have been told "that is for people without insurance." Or the process takes so long you wont want to wait. or I they will have to put everything back and start from scratch. Other pharmacies in town are more progressive. For this reason i will be going to an alternate pharmacy when i review Medicare in January. in the new year

Have tried to deal with cvs because it is close to home. They give me the run around on my scripts. I’m super late on a once weekly injection and they say it will be in tomorrow, then the next day, and the next. I was just told it wasn’t covered by insurance, then she looked. It is in fact covered. I’ve been on hold every time I call for at least 30 mins. I have to call the front and they had to go back and tell them to pick up the phone. Have heard verbal arguments between a few of the girls working in the pharmacy that lasted at least 10 mins, in front of all the people waiting on scripts. Unprofessional to say the least.

Promotion items not calculated at check out, $5 off $25 coupon not applied at checkout and neither was one of my $1 off an item! Very disappointed!

I love the Northampton CVS. I have shopped there since they opened. I have always found the employees to be helpful and pleasant. They usually have everything I need in stock. The store is clean and well organized.

Yesterday, doctor called in prescription. I called CVS at 11:55 to get update. Recording said…your prescription is being processed and will be ready at 11:59. I went in after that time, only to be told, in a nasty tone, that they were two weeks behind in filling prescriptions, the message I heard was a company error, not a store error, and they were doing all they could with the staff they had.I kept my cool, told her I wasn’t blaming her personally, but she kept being very short with me, in an argumentative tone.I get that stores are short-staffed these days, but are they not instructing staff on what is acceptable behavior with customers? If I had Ben nasty, I would have deserved the treatment I received. While she was talking to me, explaining how backed up they were, the pharmacist tapped her on the shoulder and handed her my prescription.I have had some good experiences in this store, but others have been more like this one.

The worst CVS ever. They take entirely too long to fill a prescription. They never answer the phone either. It’s pretty sad when you sit on hold for 30 minutes with the pharmacy, while sitting at the pharmacy, and see everyone fooling around while it continues to say “5 pharmacy calls” and NO ONE picks up the phone. If they don’t answer the phone, how can you call and ask a question?!?! I shouldn’t have to constantly stop in because no one wants to answer the phone.

CVS in Northampton, PA is a horrible pharmacy to deal with. We switched to CVS Part D Medicare insurance last year so we must use CVS. No matter what time I call they do not answer their phones. They refuse to use discounts like Good RX when my insurance charges $101 for Flonase type nose spray. Needless to say we will be changing insurance coverage in 2022 and hopefully it is better than using this CVS.

I tried calling the pharmacy for my prescription, no answer. It had to do with a car accident and had to be under that insurance. I went in I had to wait a couple minutes even though I was the first one, explained it was a car accident. I was put to the side and I was giving the information. They said had to wait for a referral for them to call back. I just said how about I just paid a dollar so I can get out of here. It’s for dizzy medication I cannot stand in there I was afraid to fall over. They then made me go back in line because the line had six people in it by then, to wait again! How hard was it to take my dollar and ring it up so I can get out of there? I’ve never been so frustrated with Cvs like I have been today.

I went today to the pharmacy and I saw that they were understaffed. There was only a pharmacist and only one tech. However, despite being so busy and working so hard - they helped me right away. The pharmacists name was Christine and the technician was Caitlyn. They were SO kind to me and both have excellent customer service skills. They both deserve raises!!I then realized after I left, I forgot to ask a question. I called the store and Caitlyn answered immediately and helped answer my question. She was so nice to me and so helpful. I used to go to rite aid, but after seeing the great service I had today, I made a full switch to CVS. Despite them being really busy, it’s a great pharmacy!! I am very grateful to have met pharmacist Christine and technician Caitlyn.

This store is always clean and fully stocked . Large variety of what cvs has to offer. I am giving this a low rating due to staff. Every time I go to this store. There a problem with whoever is at the register. The pharmacy and pharmacist is especially rude and doesn’t do one thing to help you out . I just came home from the emergency room and needed my prescription filled. I asked if it can be done and I’ll come back 3-4 hours. The pharmacist didn’t fill the prescription and no one called me to let me know. When I can got myself back to the store I was told that my insurance didn’t pay for it so they didn’t fill it . And no substitute. Later I found out it was only $5 and there was an easy over the counter substitute. This wasn’t the first but it was the last bad experience I had there. I been too 5 other cvs and always a great experience. I wouldn’t recommend getting prescription filled here.

I had a script for meds for a workman's comp. injury. Workman's comp. told me to have the pharmacy call them for payment. I went to CVS on Thurs. evening. The guy told me they were too busy to call and I should come back the next day. I went Fri. afternoon and was told they don't do that and I need all the workman's comp. info. myself. I went to Rite Aid in Northampton and had my medicine within 15 min. I am NEVER going back to CVS.

This CVS pharmacy is the first time I ever had to use CVS, now going on 3 years has been getting worse and worse they don't answer the phones for ten to 30 minutes all you hear is a very annoying machine telling you how you can make an appointment by calling for a flu, many other shots, but they aren't even going to answer the call your on. I can't use any other pharmacy because of my lnsurance ,or I have to pay more. So,so sad. I sincerely hope no one else is dealing with these problems.

Traveling from out of town and needed to stop at this CVS. I came across a wonderful front checkout gal by the name of Megan. She was very polite, kind and had a positive attitude. She also directed me to an aisle to find an item. Thank you Megan for taking the time to help me. A very pleased traveling customer.👍

I have never had such a terrible experience with a pharmacy. More than 2 weeks ago, my doctor sent over three prescriptions for me. They only filled one and said they didn't get the other two. So he resent those two. Again, they filled one and said they didn't get the other. So my doctor sent it again. I never heard from the pharmacy so I went to the store to find out what was going on. They said they saw the prescription but they couldn't fill it because they didn't have the strength he ordered. They never called me or the doctor to get it fixed, they just ignored it until I showed up to ask about it. So my doctor fixed the strength and sent the prescription a fourth time. Once again they claim they didn't get it. So I went to the doctor and picked up a paper prescription and dropped it off. More than 48 hours later I still hadn't heard from the pharmacy about it so I again went to the store, where I was told they couldn't fill the prescription because it's available over the counter. Again, they never bothered to alert me that it couldn't be filled, they just ignored it until I followed up. It took me 5 trips to the pharmacy asking them about the prescription, multiple phone calls, and my doctor writing and sending the prescription 5 times, before they told me I just had to get it off the shelf. I understand that sometimes insurance doesn't cover certain medications, but there is no reason it should have taken 2.5 weeks and 5 trips to the pharmacy asking specifically about this medication before someone told me that. I will NEVER use this pharmacy again (and I've been going there for 4 years).

Absolutely the worst pharmacy Ive ever been to. A handful of people warned me about this location and after my own experience, I'm not going back. They enter scripts wrong constantly and when you ask a question they either provide incorrect information or act like it's a joke. They cause a lot of back and forth and wasted time waiting for correct scripts...Good luck. They argue if you mention prescription cards and they are rude to most of the customers who had questions that were waiting for unreasonable amounts of time. They will also tell you "drs know nothing" about what they prescribe...Is this place for real??

This store was horrible. They always give me trouble when we need to fill out any prescription. My son is a 15-year-old kidney transplant recipient and needs this med. If he doesn't get it, he ends up in the ER from complications. The people at the counter were rude and heartless. Couldn't even give him a few day's supply. He has been without his med for 2 days. In addition, their lines at the pharmacy counter are always long because the people are slow. Meds are NEVER ready when promised. They just don't care. I switched to Rite-Aide.
