Very very comprehensive, mainly Korean, but covering most of othe Asian food as well. Here you can find all sorts of condiments, produce. It is a hike for me but i try to load up once in a while. Thankful this store is within reach.

Visited Assi Plaza located in North Wales. It is huge grocery store where you can find a wide variety of asian cuisine. Variety of meat, poultry, seafood, fresh vegetables, fruits are easily available at good price. They have wide collection of small kitchen items, appliances, crockery and small handy useful items for cooking. They have few eateries inside. I recommend the store.

It's a great Asian (especially Korean) supermarket with a food court with four distinctive eateries offering dining in and takeouts.You can expect to find almost everything Asian grocery needs. They offer a great selection of produce, seafood, meats, etc. Don't forget about their everyday kitchen items, small appliances and gifts.It's very clean, fully stocked and offers great customer service. Don't forget to sign up for your reward card to accumulate points ($1 for one point) to redeem for greater discounts.You can check out their sales items online.Good hunting!

First large Asian store I visited besides Hmart and it was truly great. I thought Hmart was the around but Assi is just as good with a lot more to offer. They had many precooked options as well. They specialize in Korean products. I saw whole cooked squid for sale and thought that was so interesting.

WOW, big and nice Korean grocery store, I only saw Assi as a product name brand, but this store is actual Assi store. Variety of sea food, live crabs and lobsters. Couple of fast food booths, pharmacy,lots of fresh vegetables and fruits, dry goods, some meat, seasoned beef and pork, ready to BBQ, ready eat side dishes, fresh homemade tofu, Korean utensils, personal care products and more…

Been going to Assi plaza for years hasn’t done me wrong once. They have a good selection Asian and international foods. A little food court with a few different options between Japanese, Korean fried chicken and Korean kitchen. There is a place near the fish that makes Korean soup as well.

A variety of selection both Asian and some international foods. Their produce collections are great and prices are on par with local store. Some items are priced cheaper . Love their seafood collection , meat selection , Asian grocers mostly Korean. On-site cafe is available , lot of parking spaces , wide variety , staffs are little friendly . I asked for specific cuts on fish but they only go by the cuts mentioned on the picture. I feel they could do that but they haven’t do it. Otherwise Asian /Chinese kitchen products are great selection. This is single stop for Korean Chinese . One star reduced due to stiff nature of staffs.

This place was 4.5 stars just a couple of years back but loses some points as of late as it's no longer nearly as clean, organized or stocked. The seafood and meat sections smell terrible and permeate the other aisles with that odor. There used to be many more choices in the vegetable/fruit aisles and the choices you have today are adequate but the quality isn't there with many of their offerings already close to being too ripe/wilted. I use to really enjoy their fresh mushroom section but that has become quite dismal. Their seafood prices are often the best you will find in the area but pay attention to what you're buying because they wrap things very well in plastic and if you're not diligent you will be bringing home something that will look OK but smell rotten when you open it. You can return it to the store but that's a whole other experience that is best too avoid. There seems to be less brand choices overall and they've stopped carrying a lot of hard to find items like imitation ham and vegetarian 'shrimp' that I used to pick up for a neighbor who does eat pork and is allergic to seafood, but could eat those. Bummer. Check out is often fast and efficient, the cashiers can be dismissive.

If there's one thing I love to find nearby, it's a good Asian grocery.This one isn't good, it's superb. Massive selection, huge international variety. It's mostly focused on Korean/Chinese, but there's Hispanic, Russian, Indian, Islander, and other foods here too. The deli has fresh Korean-style rice toppings daily along with tasty kimbap and kkanpunggi spicy enough that it feels like someone socked you in the face with gochujang... hehe, that's a good thing!Even if you're not into the international foods, this place has killer produce and meat at good prices. There's pretty much no reason not to shop here.

Better than H-Mart. This truly is an international grocery store. There were people from all backgrounds shopping here. There are also other businesses along the edges inside the plaza like Ginseng supplements, Pharmacy, acupuncture, food court.

We decided to have lunce in the Food Court inside Assi. We ordered from "Friends" . I ordered the Fish Cakes in Spicy Sauce, my wife ordered the Spicy Seafood Soup. Both were excellent, hot and spicy! Excellent food a reasonable price. Will be going back again!

My go to Asian market in the area!Similar to hmart maybe a bit more limited in selection but you can probably find everything you need. They have some premade Korean foods like soondubu, jigae, acorn jelly, marinated meats. They have a fresh seafood and butchered meats section and also a tiny food court that has seen better days since the bakery closed down

I went into the food court today to get lunch and for the first time in my life I experienced racism I wanted to order lunch and the miserable women behind the counter would not talk to me the weird thing is I was the only person there I just couldn't understand what was going on I asked her if I could order and she walked away.i will NEVER go into this place again after the way she treated me I hope to GOD they go out of business.Its called Karma.............

this place used to be great when they first opened, some of their fruits and vegetables cost a bit more than its competitors but I always pick up fresh fish and shrimp from here as well as other Asian needs, my family shops here very often

Good place for your basic Asian vegetables and snacks. It leans towards Korean and Japanese staples. Its vegetables are best, and the prices are cheaper than in the typical chained "American" super markets. It offers many choices for Asian "tropical" fruits. However, their fruits are often in the inferior quality. Our last boxes of mango did not fare so well. It is best to stay away from solid, meaty fruit, as they often mismanaged in transit. It happened to us more than one occasion.Other than the Asian vegetables, its prices are often higher than the mom's and pop's Asian stores.

I got fillet fish, shrimp, and crabs, and when I asked the different staff members about anything they didn’t understand and treated me with a bad attitude even the cashier woman didn’t understand English After I arrived home to cook these stuff the fish were rotten and smelled very very bad even after cleaning it with lemon and water, we didn't eat it and We got rid of it, the shrimps didn't get easily from its shell because it’s not fresh. I will not go there again very bad experience.

This is my first time ever to write any review which I needed to share my experience at this location. Today I did grocery shopping; bought seafood which contained of fresh shrimp (okay over all) and packaged salmon which was disgusting, rotten, has very foul smell which I'm very disappointed. I ended up throwing the salmon away and contacted customer service which I was told to return the salmon along with my receipt; definitely not asking for any refund and customer service personnel refused to share his name with me over the phone. Has anyone ever experience this before?

This is an Asian market with a little Asian food court serving some authentic Asian food selections. Employees at the food court were friendly. Prices are fair and many different people shop here. This place is very authentic and interesting. All kinds of fresh seafood and vegetables geared towards what you would use for Asian dishes. It’s a nice trip even if you don’t cook Asian food. There is a lot of basic stuff that an American grocery would have as well. You can walk around, find some interesting snacks (We love Mochi!) and grab a bite to eat. If you have an hour or two to kill, this place won’t disappoint. Located within a shopping center, there are also other shops to visit and places to eat should you change your mind on the food selections here. Warning: The store may be considered “not kept clean” to some people. It has a Farmers Market vibe.

It was my first time in the store, and I loved it . The fruit and vegetables were very fresh
