The prices have gone up an insane amount just over the past two years. It’s not right having any items priced over 10 dollars at a thrift store. It’s just not sustainable to be pricing tee shirts over 7 dollars at what is supposed to be a thrift store. I saw two bags this week priced at 15 and one at 40 dollars!!! That is just greedy. The closing of the dressing rooms is just completely unfair because their exchange policy is awful.

This place used to be great and was one of my favorite Thrift stores that I would tell everyone about. At my most recent visit, they now have all of their dressings rooms blocked off. So after spending over an hour putting items in my cart, I couldn't try any of them on. This store is 90% clothing, so not allowing customers to use fitting rooms is absolutely ridiculous. I would have easily spent between $150-200 on clothes that day, but didn't because I couldn't try them on first. An employee told me that if they didn't fit at home, that I could bring them back - but not for a return - only for an exchange...... of more clothes that I can't try on first. What a senseless cycle that would be. Just be forewarned going in that you won't be able to try any items on before purchasing.

This thrift store was clean, well organized, and had good prices. It was well stocked and I found a number of like new items for good prices. Overall I was pleasantly surprised by it.

The only negative thing I can say about this place is that the dressing rooms are off limit. 😔 Everything else is 👌🏽

This store used to be so good, but it went downhill so fast. I used to come here as the main spot for my clothes, but now all the dressing rooms are closed off, so you have no idea how things will fit until you take them home and try them on. To make it worse, they don’t do any kind of cash return, so if you end up not liking the clothes, you’re either stuck with it, or you have to shop around AGAIN at the store and hope you find an item with the exact same value to replace it. And once again, that replacement clothing item would also be a risk since you can’t try it on, so if you don’t like it, you’ll have to repeat the cycle all over again. It’s made clothes shopping here a nightmare. In addition, there aren’t nearly as many sales as there used to be. I don’t know if they’re penny pinching or what, but the customers are miserable and many of the worker there appear miserable as well. I’ve come across multiple of them complaining about the store, so they aren’t happy either.Sad to say, I won’t be shopping here anymore. It’s extremely disappointing because I really used to love this store, but it isn’t the same place now. It could so easily be fixed by just re-opening the dressing rooms, or at least offering cash refunds if they’re not going to let people try clothes on.

Why would you remove the fitting rooms??? This was a terrible idea, I put all the items back on racks, the policy of return within 14 days only to have to pick something else out is ridiculous. I've been going to the North Wales PA store for years, I've noticed not too many purchases of clothes like years ago. Now the aisles are full of people trying on clothes, over their clothes. Sorry, won't be going back unless this policy changes.

This location has gone down so bad its beyond pathetic. No more dressing room, not enough employees to keep the floor stocked, self checkouts and 1 color sale tag. For what?? To make more money? How can you make a profit if the business choices you make drive customers and employees away? The employees even seem miserable!!! The store was fine the way it was. Bring back the dressing rooms, lower the amount of self check units and have more color sales tags. You will make a profit because your customers will return and be happy. Customer service and appreciation makes a business thrive!!If you are worried about dressing room theft then have an employee there to give tags for the number of items they are taking in like everybody else. Come on 2nd Ave.!!!Looks like I'll only be shoppingfor housewares which is far less frequent than shopping for clothes until this location's management improves store policy.

When you live on a budget or not, it’s very helpful to shop thrift. Especially when kids grow fast & changes sizes quickly.I’ve found some great dressy dresses for occasion and my sister in law always finds treasures that are really nice.

I just stopped in because I had an hour to kill. Books ( I always thrift books) are insanely priced. Reader's Digest Condensed 6.99. Love Languages 5.99 for the paperback! What Color is Your Parachute 2013 6.99. LOL Seriously? Nothing is organized, nobody speaks English. They must like wasting time pricing, shelving and ultimately throwing away these books. I bought a very poor copy of a book (2.99) thinking my receipt would invite me to take a survey but that didn't happen so I came here to get it off my chest. Buy used to save the planet but every local thrift has better prices and better selection.

Some awesome clothes in here but they recently blocked off all the fitting rooms. Completely pointless to get anything besides a jacket. No refunds either, you can only exchange for more clothes that probably don’t fit 😂. prices have risen considerably too. You can get normal prices on 25% off Tuesday’s if you have a membership and wish to wait in a 30 minute line. Hopefully you also use a credit card cause if you threaten a chargeback they will refund you for the badly fitting clothes you got stuck with. Otherwise they’ll act like they can’t do anything.Either go back to being an ethical business or leave the community

This place used to be good, but now sucks. They just put junk on the shelves. If they even bother to restock. They think they can research stuff and price high but they’re clueless. This dish may be collectible in good shape. But with the lid broken and chipped all around, who in their right mind would pay $10 for this? Big fail 2nd Avenue

I'm not sure what this place was like before but I've visited two or three times in the last year and each time I was disappointed. It's kinda dirty.I don't know who does their pricing but it seems way too high for most items. When I go to a thrift store I want to spend 25-50% less on an item than on a new item.

As a male there isn’t a huge selection but there’s more than enough everything is organized and put in order by size. There isn’t anything that’s too expensive which is good.

I do like shopping here however, the prices are really high which is unfair as all items are donated. Kinda puts me off shopping there. I don't go out of my way to shop there whereas more competitively priced thrift stores, I do. Please read your reviews and reduce prices.

What a poor business decision that a store would permanently close their dressing rooms when 90% of what they sell is clothing. I live over an hour away so exchanging something for a like item (not even credit mind you) within 14 days is simply not feasible. I’ve been shopping here for many years and unfortunately it no longer makes sense to continue to patronize this establishment.

I've been a customer for the past 15 years. I grew up coming to this store. I rave to anyone who will listen that this store has consistently nice brands and good quality items-my favorite thrift store of all time. Now that 2nd Avenue is owned by a new company, the prices have been raised considerably, the dressing rooms have been permanently closed, AND you can only return for store credit. I might as well buy solely at Marshalls or TJ Maxx now. The prices are similar and at least there you can see if a clothing item fits well or not. What a shame.

No fitting room, no restroom, $5 SHEIN tops, $8 SHEIN bottoms. Also poorly maintained, probably due to lack of staff and poor pay.

I have been a loyal customer here for years. The store has changed completely, prices are high, some items are priced almost as high as shopping at a retail store, with a 15%-20% sale. Color tag sale days are down to 1 color choice and that color tag is the highest priced item? All the dressing rooms are closed permanently so you can not tell how your choices will actually fit and no cash return? So discouraging for all customers.

Used to love this store, but I won't be able to anymore because they've closed the fitting rooms. I'm super disappointed, they used to have a ton of great stuff.

Cool store, prices a little wacky. Had staff refuse to unlock a case for me to grab a pin I was going to buy, she was counting money and said she couldn’t. She then helped various other customers and was rude when we went to purchase. It was really disappointing. The pin was $2 which was the only reason we waited.

Insane to me they closed their fitting rooms. Their prices were always a little high but I could justify for an item I knew fit at the right price. I won't be back. They have a 'return' policy but its store credit same day. Ridiculos... needlessly ridiculous.

Used to be my favorite thrift store, I live 30 minutes away and would make the trip a couple times a month. Unfortunately they've closed their fitting rooms and it's not worth it for me to make the trip to guess if the clothes will fit. It's sad because clothing makes up 75% of the store and you can't try them on. If you buy them you can only return for an exchange or store credit. Not worth it anymore.

Edit: So many empty shelves and poorly stocked. Idk why as Philadelphia and Fairless Hills haves shelves that are packed! Not great since the company got bought out by Savers/Value Village, a chain known in the thrifting community for being pretty awful. It seems like there is less merchandise on the shelves, the prices have increased, and there ish one Color on sale now. (And when they do 50% off sales on major holidays, it no longer covers the whole store). The only positive change is the self checkouts. If you are near, it might be worth a quick look around, but it's no longer worth a long trip.

I used to like this store. Now the prices went up and you can’t even try the clothes on! Yeah you can return them but only for store credit. 👎🏽

Used to be my favorite thrift store...I drive 45 minutes to get there but yesterday I went and they have gotten rid of their dressing rooms. How can a store that is 90% clothes not let you try anything on?Sadly yesterday was probably the last time I'll make the drive to shop there.

Most of their staff are helpful and friendly. I am new to "thrifting" and I am blown away by how many good finds I discover there. The place is pretty big and there is a large variety of types of clothing as well as shoes and some home decor. There is a color coded system and on any given week, different colored tags will have a different percentage off sale, so be sure to ask what color is on sale that week. Another tip: become aware of their return policy. Tags need to be still on! (Like shoes can't have their price sticker peeled off) Also, things can be exchanged but not refunded.

I would hve given more stars had they kept their dressing rooms, whose gonna buy a used item take it home, try it on, then return it, really?? Ain't nobody got time for that!!🤨

I sorted through the tops and picked some to try on and the dressing rooms are permanently closed! The store is more than 50% full of clothing, why cant you try on? If you return clothes because they don't fit, you don't get your money back you have to exchange for another purchase. What if you live far from shop like me or you cant find an item to exchange?I'll never come here again.
