I only needed a couple items, they were extremely busy...and they only had 2 registers open, however the cashiers worked their fingers to the bone with a smile on their faces and they were pleasant and all the customers were pleasant as well we didn't mind waiting.

The store itself is very clean. The employees definitely take pride in making it a good experience from the time you walk in till you leave. the customers that shop should have more respect for the general publicand themselves .If they are switching prices on items and trying to steal with their shopping bags from other stores, nobody should have to deal with that.

Check it once check it twice, check it again. Check it a fifth time. Some of the stuff in here's like Super Bowl. You might get sick but overall the store is mostly clean. I don't know what's up with the old food

I like Save-A-Lot. Very comparable to Aldis, except that they carry name brand items and they have a nice meat selection. Not to mention that you can get an ice cold bottle of water for a quarter. Very pleasant employees, as well. PLUS... I shop here for their playlist alone. Great singers and songwriter's.

Okay I don't like small and simple. The big stores are too big for me and Save-A-Lot has a limited selection but even their generic versions have always served me well. It's a great place for a single person to find just what they need, if their requirements

The lunch meat is too much money. The cookies are expensive. The frozen meat is a ridiculous price. The name of this store is Save A Lot. What are you saving? Nothing. This will be the last time I go to this store. I drove from East Vandergrift Pennsylvania to a store that's not 100% satisfactory. Lastly their were certain customers that were not minding their own business and staring. This is very disrespectful and not right at all. Im very happy because I didn't say anything because if I did then the police would be at the store. Anyway you won't see me around so I have nothing to worry about.

I love this store. It is clean, the cashiers are friendly and helpful, prices are very reasonable. Be sure to take your own bags or you can buy bags or use free boxes from the store. They also have phenomenal 3 day madness sales! If you haven't shopped here, you've got to check it out, especially the meat department.

This is a nice neighborhood type store! It is very pleasant to shop there and the staff is always attentive and friendly. Good prices and they have lots of the sugar free items that I use(love the pancake syrup & jellies!)and it is clean & well stocked. It has a very welcoming atmosphere and the produce & meats are always fresh. I've never gone away unhappy and they say hello when you come in and a friendly smile and goodbye. My neighbor and I go there together and we always have fun and just are happy while we're shopping there. We say it reminds us of the old style grocery stores where everything you need is there but you don't have to walk 2 miles to get what you want! Its a place to go where things still seem good and real and nice. We love it!

Use to love going in this store because it's small and the cashiers are pretty decent. I would shop here a min of 2x a week. But that came to screeching halt in June and now I goto Walmart, Aldi or Giant Eagle exclusively; All within 10 mins or less. In June I grabbed a bunch of small boxes on the way in. They were the size of shoe boxes, no lids but filled the basket of the cart. An employee told me they didn't allow customers to take them in the store and I said I'll just get them on the way out. I started to push the cart to the side. The mgr then tells him to just let me go. I wasn't even in the store but a few minutes and picked up abt 4 items which all were in their view. I even placed them on the front seat including the shrimp. On my way to the checkout I can see the same mgr was obviously talking abt me to the clerk. He was whispering but looking directly at me. Kind of reminded me of teen girls gossiping abt another. I put my items on the counter and paid. Then the clerk said they were told they had to check all the boxes. I didn't like being racially profiled and it was obvious he tried to set me up. And that was the reason he let me take them in, in the 1st place. You just lost a good customer.

On Friday, May the 27th, I needed to finish some shopping at Save A Lot. I was feeling a little weak as the previous, very large store, had no shopping carts available to ride on and I had to walk a great deal, stand in line, then deal with a self checkout register that just was not working correctly. By the time I got to Save A Lot, I was wondering how I could finish what I needed to do. I walked into the store, stood for a few minutes and had just decided to turn around and leave when an angels voice asked if she could assist me.. She called for the cart to ride on and watched to be sure it was okay until it arrived. Each and every employee that I encountered that day were polite, helpful and kind. This includes the person that brought the cart to me and insisted that she back it up right to me so I didn't have to walk. To the man mopping the floor who moved his heavy piece of machinery so I could get thru. Then there was the man stocking the meat case who remained polite though some of the consumers were rude to him. He was also patient with me when I drove into a shelf and knocked down the wax paper. I was unable to bend down and pick it up and he.offered his assistance without making me feel bad. I checked out, Amy, the angel I first met, helped me unload my cart and frequently asked if I needed anything else. She then offered to watch my cart so I could use the ladies room. I found some items on the way back and a second check out person( long blond hair) was incredibly kind and helpful, even though I observed people being nasty to her. As I was leaving Amy was at the door. She and a male employee ( didn't catch his name), assured me that if I needed help to get the groceries to my car they would provide this help.I feel each of these employees should be commended on their high degree of service and basic human kindness. If I were the owner and manager of this store( and I have been in that position), I would be incredibly proud to have these individuals as employees. Please extend my gratitude to the employees. This all occurred at about 330 pm that day. I would recommend this store to anyone wishing for incredible service.

I was go in and find a lot of great deals on meat and other stuff always price check against your local stores I noticed like the price for Pepsi 2 L is more than what Walmart charges just compare your prices that's what I'm telling you

It’s Very quiet most of the time they have great deals always are very helpful and friendly cashiers but they only sell certain bands of certain things for instance they only have one type of brown sugar and its regular they don’t sell light or brown.

Finding good deals on quality food is ever becoming a lost art, thankfully there are Save-A-Lot stores to provide just that. This location has fresh produce, meats, dairy, baked goods and more. The prices on these items are outstandingly low, leaving cash in your pocket for toiletries, which they also carry. Carts are large and plentiful, and are always brought into the store promptly. This is a great location for replenishing your food stores.

So far this is the best Save a Lot I have been to. The meats are a decent price and the prices are cheaper than the Save a Lot in Wilkinsburg and they stay stocked

Not a big selection. Not very clean. Ample parking. Was not happy with this trip, and shared. NEXT DAY- The owner responded to my rating. That in its self, i was quit surprised. For him personally to take time to read, and reply, in my opinion says alot! He obviously does care about his customer's opinions. Obviously it does make him more money for consumer satisfaction, but to want to know what "I" think would help, says alot about him. I will be going back this weekend, which i wasn't going to do. Hopefully, all will be well. Thank you, i appreciate your concern!

It's a discount grocery store, no frills, few name brand items. Shop here and you'll save a lot (like what I did there lol). Watch your produce, not always a fair or better quality. Guaranteed I spent less than half if I had went to Walmart or Giant Eagle. Good place to go if you want to stock up on some items

We usually just shop there for the sales, got rib eye for 5.99lb. this week. They carry some name brands but mostly knock offs with similar packaging.

If I could leave no stars I would. Horrible service on a Sunday at the sav a lot in north versailles. If you are having a bad day don't take it out on a customer. Customer service should be at least greeted and have a good day. Experience was horrible. The cashier was am older blonde go to a different store if you want better service!

The woman was not friendly at all. She was upset when told I didn't want something because the price was not what I saw, she "threw" items in my basket and never gave me a receipt. When I tried to ask her for the for it, she ignored me and proceeded to help the next person while I was still in line. I shop there every week. I have never seen her and everyone there is normally helpful. If she doesn't like dealing with customers she should not be in retail.

The store is kept relatively clean. The produce is great for the price and normally fresh. Also I love the meat Dept. It is one of the best around. I would buy the meat from there rather Walmart and the other stores around.
