The furniture here is of a surprisingly good quality. The dining room set we got is a sturdy, all wood construction and is stained and sealed for every day use. You can buy the set of the table, 2 chairs, and a bench, or mix and match. We ended up getting 2 benches, 2 chairs, and of course the table. They have a 90 same as cash lease, but you have to be approved for this. All in all, a real nice dining room set that looks to last a real long time. We will definitely be back for other items in the future.

Fun place to shop. Always something new and/or unusual to browse or purchase. Selection of food stuff often includes items like stuffed grape leaves and pickles imported from Poland not readily available at the traditional supermarkets. Snacks, cosmetics, first aid, bottled water, household items, small appliances, and furniture are just a partial list of kinds of things available. And the cashier was tremendous. She even helped me find the correct chargers for my smartphone.

Store has been really changed around. I love all of the nicknames there are.a lot of gardening items to choose from. Picked up a cute planter and a door wreath. Prices are very reasonable

It’s nice that it doesn’t get very busy. But then you have to worry if it’s going to be there next month. It’s a clean newly remodeled store that you can get in and out of pretty quick with no problems. For that they get five stars

The store did not have what I wanted it was an unsuccessful venture. But I was speaking to an employee his name was Jeff I believe he was a manager. He was a nice guy helped me as much as they could. That's why I'm giving it 4 stars. His customer service is outstanding.

Bought our furniture here! Good price! Took 6 weeks to get our couch but buying it was painless! Pretty typical big lots store!

The store was very clean and organized. I went at around 1030 am so it possible a night crew or early morning crew stocked and cleaned. It is the day before Easter so the selection for what I was looking for was pretty much gone (my fault) last minute. They had plenty of other stuff I can always fine something or a good deal in this Big Lots. I don't give 5 stars cause I feel no one even a store in perfect. My cashier was very pleasant and that was a great way to leave the store 😊 the final transaction being one thing the customer remembers about the shopping experience.

This Big Lots is so far my favourite I have been to! It's been remodeled on the inside and is now better organized I think. Their food section seems smaller but actually has a good variety and still has awesome value. They always have good deals on house decorations be it seasonal or year round and offer a good selection of furniture, which now is nicely presented in the middle of store like a show room lol. The staff here is pretty good most days, usually apt with saying hello or welcome as you enter the store. Overall I'd give it a solid 4/5 stars as an all around store!

My fiancé and I will never purchase anything from big lots and definitely not from the North Versailles big lots ever again. We ordered a recliner with one of the furniture employees a year ago. We were assured that if we paid up front, we would be moved toward the top of the list and get the recliner within a few months. After calling every other month for a whole year, no one knew where our recliner was. We showed up last week to get a refund and were told that the recliner was incorrectly marked as “picked up” 7 months ago. Not one of the employees told us that the many times that we called. For a $350 purchase, this is a shame.

I went to return an item I didn't need and did not have the receipt.I approached the counter and asked (I believe Jacki was her name, blonde hair) if I could return my item without a receipt. She said no considering the return policy. Which was completely okay with me.What upset me was her lack of professionalism, and extremely rude service. She clearly thought I stole the item. She asked several times why I did not want the item before looking up my rewards card. I had to ask her to look it up. I wasn't sure if I had signed up when I made the purchase 2-3 weeks ago. Turns out I didn't have a rewards card. She became increasingly frustrated with me after that. For having to do her job. And honestly who remembers all the rewards they sign up for? She asked 4 times why I did not want the product. I told her the same answer each time, "I didn't need it." Simple. Each time she asked why I was returning it she rolled her eyes as if she didn't believe me. Then she asked if I had the bag for it. If I didn't have the receipt what makes you think I have the bag? Besides, the product was unopened and in perfect condition. She asked a 5th and final time why I was returning the item and I said, "I got a new apartment and bought it and I don't need it." Returning unwanted items is common in retail. Also, what if the reason was more sensitive? I actually needed the money for groceries but why tell her that when she didn't begin the transaction with care? She showed zero enthusiasm during the transaction. It took 5 minutes of her questioning me before she finally gave me an $11 store credit.So I bought 5 food items and checked out. This time with a different cashier. I unfortunately don't remember her name. Dark hair. But she was actually extremely nice and helpful. I was carrying a little more than I could handle and she helped me set down the items on the counter. Wished me a good day after the transaction. I received nothing of that nature from the previous worker.Show some compassion. You have no idea what people are going through. I should not have had to experience that much turmoil and embarrassment over $20, 3-cube nested wall shelves.

The staff at Big Lots are very helpful. I can tell friendliness is a core value.Register area is small and there can be a bit of a wait, not worse than anywhere else though.Love, love, love the decorations both seasonal and for the home; however, I know several people who regretted buying furniture there. The furniture was complete junk, broken within weeks.Not my go to everyday store, too pricey, but definitely go there when I am looking for gifts or something out of the ordinary.

Love this Big Lots. The employees here genuinely want to help and are so polite every time I go. The store itself is great, pretty well organized and have a good selection of things to choose from. I come here about once a week and I love shopping around every time I go!

Nice place, bought a box spring and the staff was AWESOME!! Found out that I couldn't get the box spring up my stairs, so I had to take it back. They gave me NO HASSLE, and I was honest about the scuffs on the spring. I will go back, cause my next purchase is a couch!!

I will never return to this big lots nor will I ever recommend buying furniture from this location. My experience was a nightmare. I specifically came to this location even though it’s not close to me because they were the only ones that had the couch that I wanted. When we went to pick up our couch they gave us the wrong one and when we went to exchange it for the correct couch they no longer had it in stock and gave us the floor model. When we got home and unwrapped it, it was completely destroyed. There was a good bit of rips and tears. The manager Steve said he would replace it for us. Well fast forward to 3 months later and they still did nothing about it and gave us every excuse in the book as to why we couldn’t get it. Finally we went there and picked out a whole different couch. When we went to pick that one up there was no body even working in the furniture section. Every single employee was rude and nasty to us. We had to load the couch ourselves and they wouldn’t even open the garage doors for us to get it. The one lady was nasty to me because I wanted to double check to make sure it was the correct couch before loading it. They made buying furniture for my first home an absolute nightmare.

I bought a sectional couch here, it's the bonded leather. I only had 1 concern and 1 question, Will it crack or peel? The sales person said he's never had a single complaint but of I wanted total piece of mind I could pay extra for a warranty that will cover everything no matter what happens. I paid extra thinking that the couch will be good for at least 3 years. 10 months later ot start cracking, I have no children or company only 2 adults. I called the warranty people and was told they don't cover cracking or peeling. Now it's a mess at only 2 years old, I'll NEVER EVER buy bonded leather at Big Lots or any furniture from them again!!!!

Every time I visit Big Lots it feels kind of random. This wasn't the exception. The store layout doesn't feel organized, in comparison to other big chain stores. I got a good deal on pillows though.

I remember so the old shelf isn't nice the room. I seen long time there big lots. I went into store. It looking better change there more big to room . I bought them mini blue light with battery ,and something few food. I need that solar with light for easter . I would like color mix with solar light. I don't wanna so it get plugs for decorating light of easter. What I say let the solar light decorating.

I like Big Lots I find they have good products for lower prices. However they did take out the greeting cards and stationary office section from the stores. It looks like they are more or less turning into a furniture store.

I have shopped there many times and this visit was no exception. I like the new layout since the store was remodeled. Staff is always helpful and friendly. Recommended business. :)

Good bargains. However, today we went to pick up furniture for my mother-in-law. There was a woman abt.55 yrs old, shoulder length blond hair who was EXTREMELY MEAN. She said to me "We already have 4 people picking up furniture. You should have called in advance. I explained to her my mother-in-law did and told them we'd be there around 11am. She was then told no problem, any time during business hours are fine. The woman then gave me a dirty look, went into the back, came out and said,."The sofa is pulled and ready but the love seat needs to be found and it.will be 40 minutes." She continued, "You need to call in advance and this is why." 😡. I tried to remind her we called in advance, but she ran off. If you ever buy furniture, especially at the N Versailles store, Be prepared.. They have a very nasty department manager who doesn't listen to what their customer is saying and will frustrate customers on a dime.
