I used to go to Sanders market when I lived in Northeast many many years ago. It's really hasn't changed and I'm not sure that's a good thing because it's pretty outdated but it is the only location with a bigger variety of grocery items in the area. I'm amazed and happy they are still in business.

It is a wretched place. The bakery cakes are of poor quality, and the cake is dense and tasteless. The management of the store is rude to customers and the staff. They plow out the pile of snow all over the parking lot. It's a really disgusting mess every time the snow melts. The hot meals area does make good meals, but there needs less pepper. Only shop to get items needed, such as poor weather and don't want to travel to Harborcreek Walmart. So I will stop at Sanders to pick up milk or bread.

Highest price groceries 40 miles in any direction. Sells expired food. Even sells rotting food. Cited for multiple food safety violation. Horrible rumors going around from former employees. Lowest paying employer in the area. Convenient location.

Sanders is my go-to market when I need to shop. The prices are reasonable. Living in a rural area this store is within reach & offers all my household needs. Love the space and the service.

The prices are higher then Giant Eagle or Wegmans. They sell expired food! Be very careful! I am not sure why this store continues to sell expired food! How are the getting away with this?Groceries are so expensive here you might as well just go out to eat. It would be cheaper!

Throw back style shopping, if it's not on sale, it will be more than Walmart for sure. Lots of selections especially in the deli. I really liked their hot food selections for a lunch to go.

I’m from out of town and I stopped in to grab a few items and was having a whole lot of trouble Navigating my way through the store. This nice gentleman asked if I needed help finding anything. He was nice as can be and was very Helpful! He showed me exactly where everything I needed was and then asked if I needed anything else. Thank you, Bradyn! (Hope that’s how you spell it)

I keep trying with this store...with that said, my purchases are usually convenience related as their prices are higher than wegmans. Without the quality. Watermelons are always green and unripe. I've had multiple salad greens that were badly wilted and even rotten. Fruit flies in the produce dept. Is usually a deterrent. For what they charge here, everything should be top notch. Unfortunately, it leaves much to be desired. I feel bad for the older folks that shop here and unknowingly pay the highest prices in the county and recieve such poor quality. The owners should be ashamed. There....got that off my chest.

Standard grocery store. The hot bar was not fully operational when we stopped by, but I did try the honey maple chicken tenders and was pleasantly surprised; they were tasty for a quick lunch.

A nice, locally owned grocery store that serves the local and nearby communities around North East, Pa. They have a well stocked meat department, a bakery that has many really good treats, and a nice deli area. They also have a First National Bank branch conveniently located in the store. Great selection in all departments, and they are involved with the local community, support your local store.🤗🤗

It is convenient in a pinch. I am not a fan of their fresh produce unless I am using them that day, same with meat. I refuse to buy the deli meats since the day the man helping me told me, when I asked him the brand of turkey, that "it didn't make a difference what the brand was, just serve it to my family and tell them not to be so picky". Also they are not a fan of slicing it fresh for you. The deli salads are ok.

Sander's Market is a nice hometown store. The prices are moderate & selection is varied. Their bakery items are delicious, something for every taste...I highly recommend the apple fritters-my favorite! Cleanliness of store is okay.

What I didn't appreciate was acupressure weeks ago my sister and I were in there and WENDY followed us down every isle pretending to be checking prices finally after 3 or 4 isles I asked my sister if she was following us and my sister said apparently. I was fuming I am a older female that doesn't steal and I didn't appreciate being tailed like a little kid . People say she beyond kindness

Great selection, they carry different items and brands that other grocers don't carry. Good prices and great kitchen/bakery! Always friendly employees too.

Used to work here and actually loved what I did and was planning on staying, things just didn't work out as planned but loved being here. Definitely willing to go back here just waiting for to come back. Was a manager in the corry store and loved being one to. Wanna work towards one here, just got stuff to do first. But this is an amazing store to come to and work for. The managers and owners are down to earth and are willing to help out as long as you talk to them and are honest. Definitely recommend everyone to come shop here and apply for a job. They need people that wanna work. So worth at least coming down to see the store and shop.

I go to this store all the time since it is close and it is the only grocery store open when I clock out for work. The selection of items great; love their selection of meats. The promotional deals are good, but the original prices on some items, not all of them, are high in my opinion. It really depends on what you are looking for. Check out time is normal and the staff is very friendly.

While I rarely go anywhere else to buy my meat--prices can't be beat on sale items, and I often plan my menu around what meat is on sale--the customer service in this store needs a lot of work. I brought back an item I bought earlier in the evening because there was mold on it. The young lady at the service desk didn't even acknowledge me, and only looked up from what she was doing when the cashier and stock man got her attention. When I explained what I needed, I was met with, "I'm sorry. The service desk closes at 9." I questioned why I couldn't bring something back that clearly has mold on it, and made a comment about their customer service. As I was on my way out the door, the young lady tried to get my attention. But I was not listening anymore. This isn't the first time I've been treated this way at this store. Just the first time I've been angry enough to say something. For the most part, I have a decent shopping experience at this store. Their prices are a bit steep, but I often buy sale items. I might be more inclined to shop more often if their customer service improved. Instead, I'll drive 7 miles out of my way to shop cheaper prices at their competitor.

Nice grocery store. Had some interesting things like fishing equipment, Dewalt tools, and hardware stuff. It's a small town market so makes sense. I totally drove from Erie to Sanders in North East because someone said they had diet faygo red pop. I grabbed a bunch of those and other diet faygo pops and ended up getting more things as well. Definitely will be back.

Disappointing hot foods other than when chicken wings are fresh. Had several large pieces of bone in their sausage.

Sanders market is a clean and welcoming groceries store. I like their meat department. It's fresh and clean and the meat taste wonderful. It beats the surrounding other groceries.

A small town feel in this homey market. Super delicatessen has so many varieties to make any lunch special. Donuts to die for, so light and satisfying they can't be beat! The aisles are clean and clear, the parking lot the same. You'll find the experience delightful and inviting you to return over and over!

I went there to find the world's best Cole slaw. Grandma's brand. As far as I know, only Sanders markets carries it. Well worth the drive. I did not see any employees on the floor but the place was stocked amazingly. The cashier was very friendly and fast

I like coming here for the specialty bakery on sale items. In October of course you will find pumpkin everything everywhere. Once it comes out I like to wait a week and see the things that didn't sell so fast and they are usually marked down. This gives me a chance to try out new items for 1/3-1/2 the price. For example I tried some pumpkin no bake cookies at half price and they were not my cup of tea. Next my son spotted a pumpkin roll log....it was so delicious that gone the same day. Some times we stop in there and nothing is marked down but that's ok to just browse. I generally grab some on sale fruit or veggies when that happens. Also if you want a time passer when you are waiting for little Caesars pizza you can be in and out of here by the time your order is ready or sooner. The lines are never long when I go in and they have people to bag your order while the cashier rings it up...i think that has something to do with it as I'm always pleased. Seeing it's the only grocery store in town, unless you plan on taking a 10 minute drive it is convenient. The prices on some items are high but if you can just go in there for what you need it doesn't seem that unreasonable.
