Something has happened to this store. It looks like inner Erie. Shelves are not stocked. Carts pulled high of stuff that need stocked and some isle you can not walk down. Sale tags not removed from previous weeks and cashier just says sorry that an old sticker. The sale price should be honored if advertised as such. Floors look like they not been cleaned in long time. It needs a good cleaningThis has been in this condition for at least a year. They have lost my business.

Not clean, the floors have not been washed in many weeks. Where is the manager on this? Stores that supply goods for the public should always be clean.

It is absolutely horrendous at this point. Employees stand around then look busy when customers are inside. Isles are FILLED with unopened product due to laziness. Shelves are not stocked, dust and debris on everything, probably a quarter of their available inventory is broken and the managers especially are slacking. Instead of cleaning the managers just yell at the other employees about it to make themselves look better Instead of actually doing something about it. This is a safety hazard at this point and I think they need to shut down for a week or so and get everything squared away.

Was okay until checkout and there was one guy at the register trying his best to play catch up due to the long line of customers that piled up randomly, and there were 2 other employees there,( not far from the line of people I might add) and it took awhile before one decided to see if help was needed. Long story short, they should work on better team communication..

I live in walking distance. They only have one register open with up to 20 people in line and never open another. My main complaint now is they let people walk around shopping while not wearing a mask or social distancing. You can't even avoid them as they come up behind you so you don't notice. I complained to the manager twice. She just told me that she knew, however there was nothing she could do about it. Nothing was ever done about it, and it only became worse. I am at extremely high risk and absolutely refuse to shop there ever again. I would give them minus stars if at all possible.

I spent over 500 dollars for stocking stuffers and things I needed for our new home and the young man printed out our receipt and rolled it up. I went out to our truck and opened the receipt to make sure it was all correct and it only printed the 1st couple lines I couldn't read it we asked for a new print out and they would not give it to us. I like to see prices of what I paid for and what if I need to take something back. I'm not too happy about this. I couldn't believe he watched it not print my receipt and still rolled it up and gave it to us like that only to refuse me a new one that was actually printed on. Beyond frustrated.

Everything about this store is fine except for the checkout. Almost every time I come In there is always one cashier but two cash registers no matter how long the line and/or slow the customers are being. I know there are two employees in the store, so where is the other guy? Plus one of the cashiers lacks urgency and doesn't ask for help.

I love our Dollar General store in North East but I had an experience there today that I am not happy about. The clerk rang up my items and told me my total. I paid for my purchase with my debit card. Once I entered my pin number and answered 'no' to whether I wanted cash back, a question came up that asked if I wanted to donate $1 to a literacy program. Before I had a chance to press the no button the message disappeared and the total came up the same amount as the clerk told me. However, when I looked at my receipt, it was $1 more than it should have been. The $1 for the literacy donation was tacked on at the end.I give to a lot of charities and causes but I like the option to decline. I don't know anything about the literacy program. I wonder how many other people have had this happen and not caught it. It happened to me twice today but it won't happen again.Other than that, I do like our Dollar General. I get a lot for my money and there is a great variety in most cases.

I don't do the majority of my shopping here, but great selection when you need something in a pinch.12/22 I'm sorry for the worker's if they are understaffed, but this store has become very difficult to shop at. Very jumbled and many empty shelves, and aisles jammed with carts waiting to be unloaded.

I find more of what I'm looking for here than the Family Dollar up the road. Always a clean location, this store offers a variety without making the store feel OVERly full.A great place to stop when you need a last minute purchase or fun stocking stuffer!

A lot of stuff empty off of the shelves. They don't even have 2% milk. Everything was cluttered and un organized. Had to go to another store to get several items. Waste of time. Will not return

Cashiers dont know how to do their job. They were running a extra 50% off allready discounted items and ended up only taking the %50 off and not the allready marked down discount. Then they told me I was wrong when I did the math and even showed them the prices. What happened to the customer is always right?? TRAIN YOUR EMPLOYEES BETTER

The dollar in North East PA is the best...the girl who works there has dark hair and glasses cashier...she is the best so helpful and sweet... Kayla is her name...I will only go to this one cause everyone is helpful especially Kayla
