It amazes me that management allow their employees to speak to their patrons in such a rude way. The majority of the women at the cash registers are so MEAN.I brought it to management's attention and she literally looked at the woman who was mean and said it's okay. Shrugged her shoulders and walked away. I live within walking distance and I can promise I will never step foot inside this store again. They deserve zero stars!

Way over priced compared to other stores in the area. Unless there are things on sale here, I wouldn't shop at this location. Otherwise, the staff are friendly which is nice

Almost like a zoo. I saw this crack head on all fours CRAWLING in the canned vegetable aisle, with a missing pantleg, alongside his 400 lb gf. What a sight. Dont get me started on the smell... oh and all of the employees are just old grumpy boomers who really don't need to be working. Only pleasant folks are the high school kids.

A great independently owned hometown grocer serving the Greater Apollo area for generations. Held's Shop 'n Save offers a full service Deli, Meat, and Bakery Departments in addition to the grocery items you'd expect. You'll also find a large selection of paper products, pet supplies and sundry health and beauty products. With easy access and ample parking (including handicap), why go anywhere else?

Almost 100 dollars for 3 tiny bags. Never again. Shop full of rich old people. Not for young college students. Tried going here seeing if it was cheaper than giant eagle. Not by a million miles. Steer clear of this place. Aisles are so small you can't fit two people and good luck trying to ask people to move without them getting angry at you. Edit: found out on my receipt the reason it came to almost 100 dollars was because they added 40 dollars worth of produce on my bill? It literally says just 'PRODUCE $40.00' I have no idea what produce I would have bought that was 40 dollars considering the only thing I got from produce was a pack of potatoes and a head of lettuce. The cashier was Kim. Lot of cashiers that don't understand technology.

I had an excellent experience with staff here today. I don't usually shop here because I live in the next town over. So I do not know the layout of food/ drink/ etc. I was pleasantly surprised to have no less than 4 employees ask if I needed help looking for something AND let me know the best deals and/or coupons/rewards available. I realized at the end of my trip that they were actually prepping to close I felt extremely bad but was also impressed that not one but of pressure was felt to leave sooner.

I was working around here, and I got a rotisserie chicken, and it was the best I've had in a long time. Whoever cooked it did the best job it was very moist and very tasty. And i can't say that about any other places i have gotten chicken from. I will be back to get another when I'm in town. Thanks

Your average local small grocery store. Cashier was nice.It's a local grocery store so if you want to support your small businesses locally and not go to the big giant eagle place down the street they will probably have what you need. We came here specifically for cat food because Walmart and Giant eagle were out.This is not a regular stop for us because the parking lot is a little difficult to get in and out of.

Everyone at this store makes you feel like you matter. They greet you and say Hi and offer help everytime. I enjoy shopping here and find I almost anything I need here. They do a great job of ordering new items to keep customers happy. I enjoy this small market ,they make my day better.

The Ladies who own the store are very friendly and helpful...the same as the cashier's, deli people, bakery, produce, meat department and everyone who works in the store! The store is very clean and you always have room to push your grocery cart up and down the isles!!! I enjoy shopping there!!! They always have store sales every week...Great prices!!!

Almost a 5 star. There are two very rude women who work here which kept me from giving 5 stars. One is a morning shift cashier who has grey hair in a ponytail and she is almost always rude. The 2nd is a slender younger girl with straight brown hair that is rarely friendly. I avoid both of them like the plague!

This is another great local business, where folks can shop for mostly any type of grocery. Nice big store, great selections with deli and bakery. Lots of parking , easy access and reasonable prices. Located in the North Apollo area, it is one of two excellent grocery stores in Apollo.

Prices are far higher than other Shop and Saves, noticeably so, I think they gouge because Giant Eagle is soooooo high locally.One of the owners tried shaming me for not wearing a mask, even after telling her I have a medical issue.Many sale items are never stocked if they are money losers.We have to get gas points, so we must shop here.Meat is too high all the time so we use Sprankles in leechburg.

First of all, the layout is weird. Normally you have a deli and a bakery together or close by, not the case here. The deli and bakery are on two completely different sides of the store. You normally have cat litter with cat supplies. I found it next to toilet paper. Unless you are going up and down each aisle, you will take a while to orientate yourself with your surroundings.

Shop and save some great places to get your food and your meats and nice variety of meats anything I'm complaining about is to cut a little bit too much of the fat off yeah that's healthy I know to not eat fat but I like to eat fat and I like fat on my meat and I like thick steaks they haven't cut them a little thin lately as well
