šÆ Best place to take your pet. My dog is transformed every time he gets groomed. They really treat him like a family member. Itās hard to get good photos because he keeps moving but I must post what I got. He is a cutie pie.

Amy is a sweetheart and a great mom and yet somehow still runs a groomers like a champ. Handles anxious animals better than any groomer I've ever seen and can cut even the most obscure dog breeds to picture perfect precision. Would recommend. I'd drive 2 hours for this.

Absolutely WONDERFUL!!!!!! This was my first time going, I booked the spot online for the NEXT day & received a confirmation text message right away! My Tilly looked AMAZING & SMELLED sooo good! I adopted her from the spca & she was obviously not groomed in a very long time. Everyone that worked there were so nice. Tilly received a āgoodieā bag too!!! I would highly recommend Poochies!!!!! Everyone at Poochies Place is very kind and patient with my nail-trim-reactive pup. They take their time and provide quality treatments. They also came up with a treatment plan to help him get over the fear of having his nails trimmed and we are grateful to have them close by! Thereās plenty of parking and shop is clean and inviting.

Just came from our first visit at Poochies Palace, my dog Jolie has never smelt more amazing than this ! šāŗļø she really does smell like she came right out of a palace! The owner Amilia (Amy) did an absolutely FABULOUS job! Iām so pleased with her attention to detail to the de shedding and nail trimming, and the bandana is just such a cute touch. And I mean Jolie really does Smell AMAZING, I actually am so infatuated with how fresh , gentle yet noticeable her freshly bathed smell is. From quality to costumer service , THIS IS THE BEST GROOMING SPOT IN NORRISTOWN so glad I found her! All the staff are attentive and friendly. I have a German Shepard who we call the German shedder. Since I bought the monthly package to have her groomed 2X per month my life is so much easier around the house. I would highly recommend Poochies

Took my 10-month old Goldendoodle to Poochies Place yesterday, and the groomers did such a phenomenal job on him. They are very nice groomers who always have welcoming attitudes when dropping off my dog. They were able to transform my dog from a big ball of fur to a handsome stud. Their prices are very reasonable and I highly recommend Poochies place because they will have your furry friend looking as clean and happy as this little dude in the photo.

Poochies place is fantastic!! I feel they go above and beyond for my dog here. I trust that my dog is in good hands also he is always happy to arrive which I take as a good sign. I took my dog bear here a couple of months ago. He's a big dog, 130lbs and can be difficult with grooming. Thankfully amy took good care of him and he came out looking great! I didn't have any problems with scheduling . Amy was waiting for bear when I arrived. He was groomed in about an hour if not less and she even gave him a cute bandana. When I arrived to pick bear up he was sprawled out in the floor relaxing looking like he made himself at home. I will be coming back. Although it was a few months ago that I was here I was looking at the site to rebook when I saw some of the bad reviews. This is a good business. I would recommend this business.

The first time going to this groomer, they didn't have me on their calendar for an appointment, but the girl working said she would take my dogs anyway. The job she did was horrible. I called the owner after that to discuss, and she said to please allow her to fix the problem by grooming the dogs for free. Even though it was supposed to be free, we still felt compelled to pay her for at least 1 dog for her work. The dogs looked better. Went back for a 2nd grooming about two weeks ago, and when we got our one dog home, she was limping and acting lethargic. I called the groomer to see if anything happened that might cause her to behave this way, and she told me no. The owner/groomer said I am going to call you tomorrow to see how she is doing, and guess what....NO CALL. We will not be returning, and I suggest that you don't take your animal there either unless you plan on staying to babysit. Really a shame because I thought it was going to work out.

Amelia did a wonderful job giving my dog his first grooming in two years! I had been trying to do it myself until my family hid the clippers! I entered her new place with a big pile of fur on on a leash and left with an adorable dog. Amelia was great with my dog and immediately put him at ease. Bear was very excited to show off his new haircut when I arrived to pick him up š

My parents got a Covid puppy in Feb 2021. By March the little girl was ready for her first groom. I started researching because I had moved to the area only a bit before Covid to take care of the parents. I was delighted to find a groomer mins from the house who also according to her website made house calls for grooming. I called and the person on the phone was great and set up an appointment time that weekend. However, when my mother took Riley over for her appointment, no one answered the phone or the door. I did call back a number of times and left messages, and never got a response or explanation. I had to run around and find a place in Bridgeport; that did take Riley and did a great job, but I did have to bribe my brother to take her because they only had mid week appts for the next month.I am leaving this review months later because I was just driving by with my mother who commented that the front of the store did look more welcoming, but it was a shame you could not count on them.It is 2 stars because at the beginning, setting up the appt was very pleasant, and, if I recall, the estimated price was reasonable. I can only assume that as with small small businesses, something stopped the morning employee from making it in on time, and we were just overlooked. But when you have to arrange things and family to get the pup groomed, I only think it is fair to warn other customers

Had a scheduled appointment for today . Called to let groomer know that I was running late for my appointment and I got no pick up no text message and no call back. When I got to the shop the shop was closed. I find it very unprofessional and bad for business. I do not live close to the shop It was a waste of my time. Besides that the girl that works there Amelia is a good groomer I can say that but itās just to unprofessional for me.

I had an appointment to drop my dog off, first time customer, and Amy never showed or responded to my calls.When I arrived the building was locked and the lights were off. Amy never responded to my calls or texts about me waiting in the parking lot for 20 minutes! It's a shame that business is conducted like this. No one ever bothered to follow up at.

I had my dog there a few times but the owner was slow to respond to texts to set up appointments. My dog came out clean each time, but the prices were a little higher than other groomers I have used. The last time I tried to schedule, I didn't get a response. I texted again over a week later, and still nothing. I gave up and took my dog somewhere else.I don't think the issue was with my dog because she is very sweet and well behaved. I asked each time if there were any issues and the answer was "nope!". So either the owner is cherry picking clients or this place is closed.I can't recommend this business as one that is responsive or reliable. I suggest going somewhere else.Updated to respond to the below comment:I find your response to my review very interesting.If you had relocated, would you have notified your clients? Changed or added on services? So why didnāt you notify them the way to book an appointment is to call?If you responded to text appointments in the past, one is going to assume those are ok to make. The onus here is on you as the business owner. Letting me know I needed to call from now on would have solved the problem AND kept a client.Reputable businesses donāt whine about reviews like this but instead respond āI apologize for the error on our partā. They donāt complain about being small; they make things right and look to recover from a mistake. They fix problems, they donāt try and turn it around on the (former) client.Iām ārudeā for not calling when I didnāt know that was the preferred method? I apologize for not being āconsiderateā by trying to set up an appointment. It will never happen again.I found another groomer quickly. Iām not so sure you could find another client as quickly. Rather than getting defensive and throwing out excuses, I suggest learning from this and finding a way to improve in the future.Good luck to you.

Had an appointment, the owner never showed up, or returned my phones call, very non chalant attitude.By Your response I see you missed the whole situation... I originally made an appointment for *Milana* I told you I had moved and saw your store as I was passing by, you gave me an appointment a Saturday in March for 10:30 I left 2 messages on your phone, you did not return calls to explain, apologize or even to talk about the mishap, that's when I got mad and made the fake appointment to hope that you understood how a client can feel when the service requested is not kept or explained what happened. You mean you also can't remember messages on your voicemail, asking for a call back, check again it was for a long haired Chihuahua, be honest and admit your mistake
