Both Family Dollar stores near me have finally turned from a hot mess to stocked shelves and uncluttered isles.bThe employees at the Markley Street store have been awesome andrespectful.Evethough the prices and products are different from its old ways and not a stressful experience..thanks for improving the shopping experience

This Place is just beyond ridiculous when are they ever open! Kind of ironic that I read a review from 11 months ago and it's still the same today on November 3rd 2022 and I even called the corporate and when I have spoken to the person about two separate locations she told me that it's supposed to be open for the hours that is listed she would look into it and get back to me I didn't hear anything mind you it's now three months later and nothing has changed! I think it's just the whole Family Dollar Corporation and add in lazy people that don't want to work

I went to the store today at 1:40pm. It was closed with a sign that said be back a 2pm. I waited in my car and an employee came out locked up and went to her car to smoke she watched as countless ppl were turned away more than 6 customers including myself. This place must not want business.

The girl with the Port Wine stain on her face has a bad attitude. I went in today it was 8:05 I got a can of folgers coffee marked $8 on the shelf. I bring it to the counter where the girl was on the phone telling someone that she worked over 80 hours and was only paid for 56. ( unprofessional) I get to the counter proceed to say good morning where this person says angrily " It's gonna be a while my registers are just coming up" ( unprofessional) I wait.. then hear a beep signaling that she's begun the ring up process. The coffee scans over $10 ai tell her that's not what the shelf said. And this heifer says.. " Well what did it say? I'll go back there with you" We get back there and she sees that in fact it was $8 and still mad she says " "Well Ok!! you'll just get it for the 8 then" When i told her that's what it should have scanned she again gets loud and started talking about the metrics and If I look close at the shelf tag blah blah blah. i told her " I don't work here.. you do" Then she said and I quote " You've got the right one today". and I'm not ringing up anything. Well sorry to say I left with it anyway.. who the hell does she think she is. I plan to come back when the manager is in to pay as I initially was going to until your cashier decided otherwise. Caucasian girl. Port wine stain in her face.. Unkempt appearance and bad attitude. I never come here anyway because it sucks honestly i always opt for Sandy a hill rd and now i will make it a point to never come to this one. Train your employees better cause this could have gone different.

It's 9 am today's date, Nov 10th. The store has a sign that says it's open at 8 am, but it is still closed. Also, it's a mess. The store has roaches. For some reason, everything in the store, like the cashier's desk, Looks like it's been handed down the store is outdated. They never open on time. I come to the store because it's closest to my child's school, so it is easier for me, But it isn't very pleasant when you have to wait For someone to show up If they show up.

I am a manager of a local store so I understand store policies but there is always exceptions to the rules. I spend over $200 a week at this store ($323 this week to be exact). Tonight, I was in with my 2 daughters and I had to use the bathroom to the point I was keeled over. Now remind you, I had $115 worth of merchandise in my cart, the 2 girls working the counter basically told me "I'll watch the stuff if you want to go to save a lot". Now I know they have a bathroom due to the fact my daughter used it last week so the fact that they couldn't let me use theirs due to "customer policy" baffles me. What's your customer policy on rudeness? I will never spend another dollar at this store again due to poor customer service, What would I know about customer service though, I'm only a General a Manager myself!!!!

In the entrance of this store their is no day that smells like cigarettes...I will never spend another dollar at this store again their is a white women that works their that have a nasty attitude it's not the first time she gives me an attitude.and the way she talks is very unprofessional why would family dollar manager what someone unprofessional with a nasty attitude please be aware of what type of people you hire.you just lost a client.how many more to come???

Wow. This store is seriously understocked. Their Easter selection was dismal. The clothing was soooooo disorganized. Whoever works there must be like the only person there. I am sad for them. 😮😔
