This really was a great place, felt very welcoming. The pretzel and scooby snacks (dessert) were awesome! I had two flights of beers. I enjoy trying new beers and that was the experience I was looking for but nothing really stood out and that's ok. The place is very nice, service was excellent and the food was good. The Bulldog Blonde Ale was the best out of all for my taste.

This place is a hidden gem, it has a Scottish or Irish pub vibe, not very big but tons of atmosphere and great beer, absolutely worth a "stop in" this is my first time here, loving it.

First time here. I stopped in on a Wednesday night and sat at the bar. There were quite a few people there at tables - I think all were full. Several seats at the bar were open and it looked like they had a second small bar area and an outdoor patio. Wednesday is trivia night so not sure if the crowd was more for the trivia or just their usual flow of business.I had two beers, a blueberry IPA and a pineapple something. I preferred the blueberry but both were tasty and cold. I ordered a Buffalo chicken flatbread. That was also good and it’s enough to share with two people. I ended up taking some to go. Prices were good. They have size options for the beer and offer flights.The place is small but not uncomfortable. There isn’t a parking lot but I was able to get a parking spot in the street. The main road is 2 lane and narrow so if you park there make sure you’re not sticking out into the street too far.What I liked most about this place is it felt welcoming. Sometimes when you go to a new place alone, you get weird vibes from some people. That was not the case here. The bartender was friendly and she was always checking on people. People at the bar seemed nice and were friendly. Tables were all having a good time. It was an overall good vibe!

Really cute little spot, doggo theme. All the animal art around the space was sweet. There is an outdoor space that's dog friendly. A nice lineup of beers available with a few mixed cocktails if that is your jam. The food menu has something for everyone.

This place is such a hidden gem. It is the definition of a hometown bar, strangers become friends and the beer is excellent. I am not a stout fan but the Mastiff Vanilla Stout was fantastic! The boneless bites and fries were excellent! We cannot wait to come back and try more beer and food!

HUGE soft pretzel with good selection of dipping sauces. All their flatbreads are delicious, but the Chicken Cordon Bleu is our favorite! Very friendly staff who are customer-centered truly care about providing a good experience for customers.

The staff was very nice, food ok, the panini just a toasted sandwich, which seemed like regular bread. Meat and cheese on the sandwich was a good portion size. French fries were good.The craft soda tasted like a musty attic. The people next to me, I asked if theirs tasted weird, and they said yes.I hope they get a different soda soon, I will more than likely try it again.

What a great place. Brews are great. Food delicious. Outside area is very nice and dog friendly. The decor is nicely done with very cute animals art. A definite stop while in the area.

Nice place. Friendly staff and patrons.We didn't eat much, but split the large soft pretzel and it was very good.Now onto the beer. The beer hit the styles very well but the spiced beers were overpowered. Nutmeg was all I could taste in their pumpkin. The vanilla stout must have had vanilla extract added - that is all I could taste. A more gentle approach would be to age over vanilla beans.

Time for a new review! We had the BEST time Saturday nite! Usually we split time here with another place on a Friday. But this time we came to hear one of my favorite local entertainers, Brandon Brookens and friends. Ended up staying the whole nite. Blew off some steam with some co workers, had some GREAT beer server was top notch. Meat lovers Flatbread was EXCELLENT. stop in for a nite, you won't be disappointed!

Great flatbreads... Actually the best in the Carlisle/Newville area in my opinion. The Pesto Spinach is my favorite. The HUMUNGO Soft Pretzel is really good, soft and buttery, and you get 4 different dipping sauces of your choice. I'm not the biggest fan of some of there brews, but I can always find something I like. I love you can get a 4 oz to try them first. Love the outdoor space too as the inside can get a little loud, but then again, it's a bar.

Really glad we have a brewery here in Newville . I’ve lived here for 8 years and have always traveled to the Carlisle or camp hill for breweries. It’s nice to have a place close to home . Really nice establishment and everyone is really friendly . Good beer and Sour Monkey on tap which is also great .
