I’ve never had a more caring vet! Every single person in this building cares so much about every animal & person that walks there their doors. From the receptionists, to the nurses to the actual vets. Every time I’ve had an emergency with one of my cats, they got me in the same day. They scheduled emergency surgery on my kitty when they realized she wouldn’t make it until her original surgery date a month later. They’re the reason she’s still here with us. Also their prices are extremely reasonable for all the work that they do. I would 100000% recommend them to everyone & anyone!

This is the first time I've ever had my pups to this vet office and I loved it! The corgis and the persnickety golden retriever loved it too! The girls in the office and the Dr really listened to me and treated our older golden for an issue that his other vet has overlooked for years..I think it's going to be a great fit for our family!! 💓

I can not say enough about how great everyone at Newville Animal Hospital is. When we needed a new vet they took on our 3 dogs and have treated them all with the best care possible. When we lost a dog, the compassion we received from everyone in the office was amazing. THANK YOU for all you do, and going above and beyond for your clients!

I have nothing but good things to say about this place! My dog ate chocolate and it was really close to closing time. They took such great care of her! I like both doctors as they are very informative And great at what they do. The front office staff was wonderful and very friendly. Thank you for all that you do!

They were incredible. They were very informative, they are all about the animals. It's almost like they care as much as we do about our fur babies. I have been to a lot of different Vet offices. Most of them are all about the money... this Team of Specialists are all about your little one and you. I won't go anywhere else.UPDATE: I posted the above review two years ago. I've been there quite a few times since then and I had to take two stars away from them. My reasoning is simple; I was wrong about everything I put in my review. I don't know if it's because they have too much business now that they stopped caring as much or what happened but they've changed. I do have to give the Secretaries and techs an A+, they make up for some of the short falls. The Vets are knowledgeable and do what they can but even they have to answer to someone above them... I'm thinking this may be where the issues start....?

Had our first visit last night. Everyone was helpful, friendly, and very informational! Todd was great! Our new to us puppy (9 mo) isn't very socially open to new people and Todd took a safer & better approach, so all of us were more comfortable. Answered all of our questions. Never felt rushed by anyone! Highly recommend!

The docs and staff at Newville Animal Hospital are wonderful - it’s obvious they all truly love animals, and while that sounds like it should be a given in the world of veterinary medicine, it’s not necessarily the case everywhere. One certainly gets the feeling they treat everyone’s pets like they’d treat their own, and when our two spoiled pugs actually like to go to the vet, that says a lot. Fantastic, top-notch care and really nice people.

I really don't want to be misinterpreted or my statements taken out of content but I figured I'd put it out there to let others know how my experience was and how I felt. Me and my furry family AR fairly new to the area. I have two dogs and one kitten Garfield. To make a long story shorter Alex started having trouble with his back legs. I figured that had to do with age. Approximately 2 months ago he lost his ability to walk so I started calling animal hospitals. No one to get me in or I didn't have enough money. I called Newville Animal Hospital told him what was wrong and told them I was working with around $200 and they said oh good you have $200 and they set me up an appointment for the next day. When we arrive there I went in filled out the paperwork reiterated I only had $200 and they said they know I asked for a table with wheels or a cart because I told him he couldn't walk and she said that they did not have nothing so I carried him in and into the back room. The examination consisted of blood work to test for Lyme's disease and the doctor came in the room for approximately 3 to 4 minutes she listened to his heart and lungs and said she would be back after the results from the blood work. When she first walked in the room and we looked at each other she just gave me this look of that dog was old we might have to put him down. She never said that but that's the feeling I got instead of a little bit of encouragement. I promised Alex he was coming home with me no matter what. I've never seen the doctor after that with her assistants came in and told me they didn't know what it was he was negative for Lyme disease and they thought that's what it was and they can do more but it will cost me thousands. And I don't have that. At the end they came in with their bill and it was more than the $200 I told them that's all I had it was approximately $238 so I called mrs. Dependable mom and got the money from her. One of the medicines he was taking I was prescribed to take 1.5 a day for 4 days and then take One A Day for 4 days and then a half a day for 4 days. Well there wasn't enough medicine so I had to ride all the way back out there and someone told me we never have to check the doctors work instead of apologizing to me for my inconvenience. I know this sounds Petty but this is how I truly felt now after all of Alex's medicine was used up he was slowly getting better he actually stood up on his own so I call back to Newville and they told me the doctor wasn't in they would get back to me well it's getting close to quitting time still didn't hear nothing so I called them back and the woman on the phone that oh yeah the doctor just text me and told me that you have to bring Alex in for another visit. To me it just felt like a money grab. I know when I go to the doctors I can call my doctor and say I'm out of medicine and he'll get me another prescription without having to come and visit again. So that's all I have to say about them. To me there just seemed like there was no compassion for me or my animal who is part of my family I've had him ever since he was a baby. I don't like putting any business down or giving a negative review but in this case I felled it was needed and Justified. I will never go there again.

It's a small family-owned business. They don't have all the high-tech equipment of some of the other vets but they will get you where you need to be. Prices are reasonable.
