Everything is neat on shelves, well stocked and help knows where everything is which helps me a lot and I don't wander aimlessly around the store. I love to go here and the Christmas decorations are just sensational. Plus I can buy my margarine and my milk, ground beef, ice cream, cheeses, eggs and other breakfast drinks. Many other foods in the freezers. From sheets to shirts to bread to plastics and paper products, it's all here. Also clean and the help is polite and friendly. So come on in and see for yourself. You don't need to run to Walmart, it's all right here. Let's remember to patronize our local stores so we don't lose them .

FD Drivers: Don't use the alley behind the store to enter the parking Lot there isn't enough space with their dumpsters there and the telephone pole on your passenger side. The Dumpsters should be further near the front of the building and on the same side as the building. My guess is the employees don't want to have to walk, so they make it harder for the drivers.Best bet is to make the store manager gets the parking lot cleared so you have maneuvering space, or back up off the street.FYI, If you don't do your job flawlessly and like a 70 year expert, rest assured the store manager will have plenty of trash to talk, not very professional.

The Sales Clerk was Very nice. It's kinda out of the way and I forget the store is located there. This is forgotten about because not on Newville road. This store Definitely has the happiest and personal clerks, at least on Sunday mornings.

What a difference between this dollar store and others I've been in. The shelves are stocked full as far as I could see and the lady that waited on me was so sweet. I wish they could carbon copy her and put one of her in every store. She should get a raise, I wish I got her name.

I just wanted to say how pleased I am with the customer service I always receive whenever I visit the store. Everyone is always nice to me but there is once employee in particular named Angie. She really goes the extra mile and actually goes through the trouble to order the products that I buy there on a regular basis. She even keeps my products off to the side for me so that they are ready when I come in. As a result, I keep coming back each and every week. I am very pleased.

I did a pretty harsh review for this place about 4 months ago. I decided to change it due to the fact that I feel I may have been a bit unfair and hasty to judge. While I did receive below par service here 4 months ago, since then, I have been back many times. EVERY day that I go in there before say, 3-4 p.m. the same woman is in there working, by herself 9 out of 10 days. Most times that I have been in here since, I have also received better service. I think that it is wrong for a company to treat a person the way it seems they are treating her. She is expected to stock shelves, keep the store clean, and checkout and assist customers...most of the time, while running the store alone. For what she puts up with on a daily basis, I understand how that could be frustrating, I still don't want to be treated poorly, but I understand her disposition. A lot of times, I still drive to the other side of town to go to the Dollar General. They have a better selection of products and the employees are typically very friendly.

I have nothing against the store in general but the employees seem to do nothing but smoke their cigarettes out front of the store. There have been several times I have walked into the store and there was no cashier to be found inside stood there for 10 minutes or so everytime before. a cashier would come in from outside. I live outside of town and it is the closest store for me and I love the hours but the service stinks. Think I will go back to the dollar General from now on. Service just needs to improve

As I was entering the store an employee was smoking outside talking to a guy. No problem. Went into the store and got my purchase and stood at the register. Called several times if anybody was there. Went outside to employee who was still talking and I asked her if anyone was working inside. She said me. Then she said, do you need anything… By that point my answer was no thank you and I left. My thoughts were ... I cannot believe this and good thing stealing is not my thing

Sales tags are never posted above correct merchandise and managers will not give you the sale price. Always use the excuse the sign shouldn't be there just like tge reduced xmas candy reduced to 50% off and boxes of the same kinds sitting right under sign that are definitely xmas but says that the sign doesn't include that. Now someone can't be posting all signs at the wrong places, if they are then they shouldn't be working there.

Went to this family dollar and your employees were very rude especially your manager Angie she was very rude and not helpful in anyway. She would not honor your store flyer which is extremely unprofessional to not honor something that is in your flyer. Very unsatisfied customer and i shop here everyday if i could've gave no stars that's what this store would have gotten.

This is a great little store to shop at it always has great surprise deals and eclectic things like today I got two tower blutooth speakers for 40 instead of 80 and this adorable hat

Always my go-to place. Mostly because Newville doesn't have a lot of other options but I've come to enjoy my visits to family dollar. The staff is friendly, they have what I need for low prices and it's never too busy, from what I've seen.
