I cannot say enough good things about Sarah Weber, the head trainer at VCA Wellington. She has a patient and hands-on approach to training for both the handler / owner and dog and has been so encouraging as we’ve navigated first time dog ownership, puppyhood and adolescence. She makes sure that we have all of the necessary tools in our “toolbox” to navigate home life with a young dog and new social settings, so we can successfully and safely take our dog out in public and allow him to meet new dogs and people. There is no one better!

The entire team here is wonderful, the vet techs are great and kind, the front desk staff is quick and efficient, my phones calls are answered within a second. Dr. Hillebrand is the best vet I have ever taken my pets to- she is sweet, takes her time, and goes out of her way to answer questions even outside of an appointment (on phone calls). I love the way the entire staff has treated my pet and they are upfront about costs for procedures/medications BEFORE they do them. Highly recommend VCA Wellington!!

Recently I went in for my Brownie's blister ailment. The staff is very friendly, plus full of life as they made sure Brownie felt comfortable and welcome. The nurses are super playful and courteous while taking him to the vet for inspection. Finally the doc prescribed medication, that worked as a miracle and within a day his blister seems to have dried down. Thanks a lot for being an excellent pet care giver. Brownie says thanks !

Recently my dog got very sick She had to see a vet . No idea where or who but have driven by the VCA building in Newtown Square . I took the first available apptThe receptionist, the tech girl n the doctor were the nicestProfessionals I could have met .They went out of there way for my dog. They pay attention and ask questions.They explain everything and the doc treated my dog who is now 100 percent. Better. The place was great. The people that work there wereBeyond great . For me and my dog it was the best place to go.We left there with a bag full of info..All meds to treat my pet and to top the whole day ,All the meds were free and they saw n treated my pet for absolutely No ChargeI would recommend VCA in Newtown Square to anyone that cares about there pet.My dog is happy now and today was. A Million Dollar Visit. ThankYou VCAWellington..n my dog thanks you guys also.

We regularly saw Dr. Kirsch who we love very much. He was always extremely thorough, kind , compassionate and listened to all of my concerns.The two negative experiences I had the entire time I was there was when I saw a different vet. Both times I was left unsatisfied and the first time they failed to even give me an answer. This vet shrugged their shoulders at me and prescribed me a spray saying "come back if it doesnt get better". In fact this previous time I was there, they took a look and said "oh its still there, maybe neutering him will fix the problem."To my dismay when I get to the checkout and find out the price was more than it had EVER been for an exam. I was continuously given ZERO explanation for him and been told I was always being incorrectly charged. Now that I have gotten the bill, no one answers my calls at the practice.I am so disappointed in my experience here. I will not be recommending this place to anyone again

The fact I haven’t left a review when I basically live at this place surprised me so I figured it’s time I do.Wellington is a phenomenal vet practice. As someone who has seen many vets in my lifetime and having a grandfather who was also a vet, I cannot emphasize how happy I am here.I do a lot of work with senior animals and it takes a lot of effort and time to get them back on their paws. Dr. Hillebrand and Dr. Phelan have NEVER let me down when I had a concern.I have always been able to make an appointment easy even at the last minute, and we always leave with a game plan and so far all of the game plans have worked.They take the time to listen to all of my concerns and answer all my millions of questions which I appreciate ten fold as many vets will try to rush you out.For anyone who complains about pricing, that is not realistic. Animals are not cheap and if you want good care, you’re going to pay for that care. If you want cheap care, just remember you pay for what you get. If you have a pet you owe it to them to give them the same care you would a child or anyone else, so people need to stop complaining about pricing. You sound ridiculous honestly.Also, the staff. The staff are AMAZING. Everyone from Jenna, Christine, Skylar, Sam they’re just so helpful and kind. The vet techs, Candace, Stephen and Andre, Mitzi and Laura….they all are great.Overall, this place is amazing. I’m so thankful to everyone at Wellington and consider them a second family at this point.Thank you all for giving my fur babies the best care !

Dr. Kirsch was awesome as well as the rest of the staff. Honestly I could not have had a better experience with my pups. We just moved to the area so trying to find a new vet is difficult. One pup hates shots and got mean but the nurse was not afraid and he made it through. The other only needed peanut butter and he was not phased by 2 shots. Will definitely make the trip to visit here for all my dogs needs.

We have been taking our 8 month old dog Brandy to the VCA in Edgemont PA for the last 2 months. We are very satisfied with the overall facility size, location, training and Vet services. In addition the facility is very modern and clean and staff go out of their way to make it a great experience for customers and their dogs. In addition, we are working with Sarah Weber, an experienced dog trainer who is wonderful that also includes her great staff, Jules and Alisha. They all have been wonderful to work with and very helpful with our rescue dog socialization and behaviors. Thanks to VCA for outstanding service to customers and our dogs. Sarah Weber, the Head Trainer, and her team are absolutely amazing! We truly do not know where we would be without them. Our puppy has learned so much and is always so excited to go to "school". Seeing her happy makes us happy. I highly recommend Sarah and her team for any training needs. The time and attention that they spend not only with the dogs but also in communication with the family is unmatched. I can't recommend VCA Family Pet Resort and its staff enough!

Great animal hospital. My animals have seen all 3 vets currently on staff. They along with the vet assistants have been wonderful. My dog has done daycare and boarding and gas always come home quite happy

My regular vet could not see me so I went to VCA Wellington Animal Hospital. I had a great experience here. Everyone is very helpful and friendly. Dr. Phelan was knowledgeable and kind and put my mind at ease regarding my cat's treatment. He explained everything really well. I highly recommend this hospital based on my experience.

My husband and I love taking our cats here. Dr. Fallon is very thorough and knowledgeable and we feel assured that our cats are in the best care when we’ve visited. We’ve been to places previously where we felt like exams were very rushed and not thorough enough to check for potential issues, but that’s not the case here. Each and every staff member is SO sweet and make our fur babies feel safe and welcome!

Just adopted my first cat and I gotta say that the entire staff at VCA Wellington are amazing! Admittedly, I was a tad bit anxious but everyone was so friendly and helpful that after a few moments I was at ease. Doctor Phelan was professional and oh so kind and gentle to Sunflower. This place was recommended by a coworker for doggy daycare and I am extremely happy with everything. I wanted to start my dog young with socializing with other dogs and it turned out to be perfect. She knows exactly when she goes to daycare and I absolutely love how happy she is to see me afterwards. The staff that I usually encounter have been extremely pleasant and professional. (Raven)

The best vet in South East PA! We came to them with an older beloved pup with diabetes and immediately saved our life. Extremely talented, kind, and hardworking staff always accommodated us. They aren’t pushy and truly look out for the entire family, pet and owner, with beautiful facilities. I can’t say enough good things about these guys, honestly. It is a joy to interact with everyone who works at VCA Wellington in Newtown Square. From the receptionist who always greets us upon arrival, to the friendly vet techs, to the Doctors themselves, every single person takes time to say hello to my dog and make both of us feel welcome. I’m never coming back here. I brought my six year old Westie Rosie in for Addison testing as she was showing symptoms which are usually seen in that disease. They tested her blood and said no it wasn’t Addison but didn’t bother to check why she was acting that way. Dr, Kirsch blew us off and told us she was just acting like our other dog. A week later she had gotten worse and they were open and seeing animals and blew us off again and told us to take her to one of the ER vets so that’s where we had to go and she was diagnosed with a debilitating autoimmune disease. She died 2 days later, all because they kept blowing us off. I am devastated at the loss of my baby girl. You killed her because you couldn’t be bothered to follow through. My other dog is still having issues and blew us off with him. We changed vets. I am never coming back. I have been a client many years, but not anymore. The prices have gone up so high it’s crazy. It’s almost 500 every visit. I will never forgive you and the practice. I miss my baby so bad.

We have had only positive experiences with the clinic, boarding, daycare, and grooming.This particular review is related to the grooming area. Chelsea who is at the front desk is extremely personable and professional. Karen who has groomed our dog several times does an amazing job and never complains about our dog, who I'm sure is a challenging client. Additionally, they are very reasonably priced and the facility is spotless.

Great boarding experience. Our rescue dogs have high anxiety and can be difficult for strangers. (VCA Marple would not board them)However, Wellington VCA took them in and treated them like family fur friends. Got daily pics too! Highly recommend. 👍

Sarah at VCA was kind enough to help my dog Rudy with his chronic ear infection the last month. Rudy is a larger dog, and it's impossible for one person alone to clean his ear. Sarah cleaned Rudy's ear while I held him every day... And it's FINALLY getting better thanks to her help. Sarah is clearly passionate about what she does, and genuinely cares about animals. I can't recommend her enough.

I am very grateful to have found the vet team at VCA Wellington to care for my dog. Everyone is very welcoming and caring. It is easy to make and get appointments. Open hours are very convenient. Most importantly they investigate any concern you might have until they find the answer, meaning that they are looking for the root cause when my dog is ill and don't just treat the symptoms. I would recommend VCA Wellington to every dog owner. Dr. Hillebrand, Dr. Kirsch, Dr. Phelan, Auntie Mitzi, Stephen and the entire team are fantastic.

VCA and their staff do an amazing job caring for your animals. The doctors are knowledgeable, courteous, and have a great overall demeanor. The assistants vets are all very kind and take note of all of your concerns. The front desk staff is helpful and takes time with each patient to explain whatever they need to. I have been going to Wellington Veterinary Hospital for a few years now. Years ago, I had chosen a vet with 24-hour emergency service so that if my lab mix ever had an emergency, they would already have her records. Well, that vet had changed hands, my pup's regular doctor left, and I was becoming increasing unhappy with the service. It began to feel as though we were just a "number", and not a valued client. As my dog was getting to her senior years, I desperately wanted to find a new vet for her. So, I came to take her to Wellington. I am so grateful that I found them. The staff is caring and professional. The waiting room has floor to ceiling windows (keeps the patients occupied looking outside!), the floor is non-skid, which the dogs love, the exam rooms are huge, and there is never a long wait. They are 24-7 with emergency service, they have long, convenient hours for regular visits. They were so helpful and supportive during the last months of my dogs life (she was 14). Now with a new puppy, I had no problem choosing a vet for her. They also are attached to Family Pet Resort, which does boarding and daycare.
