I come here often since the prices are great and there's even alcoholic slushies available for purchase near the deli section! I can find a variety of food that I normally can't find in other grocery stores

This location is absolutely terrible. They don't have a single lane open to check out but they have six self checkout lanes with the smallest scale ever so you have to stack your groceries on the tiny scale. Otherwise it constantly gives you errors. Meanwhile they have 8 employees standing around talking, not helping customers, and two of the employees smelled like complete cigarette smoke. So disgusting and pathetic. This store is also extremely outdated, gross and poorly organized.

I love the self check out, unlike Shoprite and Fresh Grociers , cramped small areas where sometimes consumers are in each others way.

Only one cashier open for 15 items or less and every other lane is self checkout. Just hire workers and pay them a livable wage. Figuring out how to work a cash register is not my job.

The lady at the customer service desk was super rude. (9/15 afternoon) I returned some item purchased on 9/7, including a frozen item that EXPIRED OVER A YEAR AGO IN 2022. She blamed me including the customers that return the items for the increased price. She made me wait over 15 minutes while talking to some other employee in the store, which is a common custom with the giant employees to socialise while the customer is waiting.I have noticed on multiple occasions where the foods that needs to be frozen or refrigerated are left out for a long time before it’s properly stored. There’s no regulation and unsanitary conditions were noted in the deli section of the Broomall and Newtown Square stores.

Literally the best Giant I have ever been to hands down. It's always been easy to find my groceries when I go to giant but the help that you receive from the employees at this location is unmatched. I never write reviews but I had such an amazing experience that I felt like I needed to. I honestly was having sort of a rough day and the brief conversation I had with the lady at the cash register (Susan) cheered me up so much. I will be back at this location next time I need groceries.

This Giant is a little smaller than some of the other ones, but they still have a good selection and in my experience this has been the best one to order grocery pick up from. They have generally been the smartest about substitutes and usually are able to fulfill most of my order. Also, the employees I’ve interacted with have been very nice.

Gotta say this particular Giant actually does stand out amongst the others! They have a really wide selection of pre-sliced cold cuts if you prefer to skip the deli counter (which I always have)… I’ve never been one to write a review… but… When I find a grocery store that has Sweet Lebanon Bologna already conveniently packaged, I genuinely think the world needs to know about it.

I bought two watermelons and two boxes of water today. The sign shows there was a discount ，buy there was no discount when calculating the money. I asked a woman in her 50s who had a bad attitude and pushed my shopping cart away. I was shocked. got me! This service attitude makes me unacceptable, I don't think I will go to this supermarket next time to buy things

I love shopping at Giant, but this location is a tad.. awkward. In my experience the produce hasn’t been the best, the selection varies with some items being completely out of stock, and the location itself while good is old looking/feeling and it therefore in need of a renovation. The employees are nice tho so I’d say this place is average, but I would recommend going to another giant first if possible.

Smaller than most Giant stores so some selections are limited. Along with that, 1/2 & 1/2 supply still seems to be seriously lacking. Otherwise nicely laid out, and helpful staff.

Giant is a very satisfactory grocery store! They have a wide selection or foids and beverages, as many grocery stores do. Really great for all your needs, you can get multiple items here, like cards and flowers as well as food. As someone who bakes, I loved their selection of chocolate chips! They have many different varieties! Overall, the cashier was helpful, they were well stocked, and I had a very pleasant shopping experience!

It's a hidden gem by location and big on customer service and relations. The store is well kept and stocked. There are no product carts in the middle of the aisles as I have experienced at another Giant grocery store. Free and clear to shop. The associate team is wonderful, everyone is pleasant and helpful when needed. I really like the store a lot. I've just relocated back to the area and I'm thinking this is the place where I'm going to shop from here on out.

Well it's a nice store but lately when I go either a Wednesday or Thursday it seems the juice and water isles are either empty of normal drinks or the shelves are disorganized.Like if you carry Bai drinks why only one flavor? Other stores aren't like this.And the toilet paper products and paper towels were all mixed up. Usually they are kept together not mixed.And why is the isles with cleaning products mostly have hand sanitizer and hand soap? And not normal brands over priced!!! I can get Dove at the dollar store not pay 5.99 each! And no its not from Mexico or China!!!The employees are nice there that's why I go out of my way... but may have to stop!!!

Pathetic store. We ordered chicken 3 days in advanced, scheduled for 8-9pm. Arrived 7:50 pm that night and the store called to say the order would be an hour. We shopped and 8:45pm finished and waited. We watched 2 employees leave at 8:56pm and numerous employees horsing around in the store. 9:15pm we called and then they said another 30 minutes. What kind of incompetent people and management work in this store. We are done, Acme may be more money but the people know what they are doing and the shelves are stocked. Good bye Giant.

The worse customer service I’ve ever experienced. I won’t ever come back to this Giant. The cashier rung up the most expensive peaches instead of the ones I was trying to purchase. I had to go and get the slip to show the correct price. They should ring up the produce code on the sticker always. I also waited to speak to a manager and he or she never came. I also asked for the general managers name and they acted as if I spoke Spanish. My rating would have been a zero if it was possible.

My husband and I have COVID and have tried, for two days, to order on line, for curbside pick up. 2 days, tried 2 stores, Broomall and Newtown Square. We have used 2 different phones, an iPad and a lap top. We have used 2 different accounts. I know this is supposed to be for store reviews but this is for the on line shopping app. We are wasting away because of lack of nourishment. When they find us, we will probably both have the Giant app opened, our fingers pressing on the Giant grocery items, starving.

Great store, very friendly and helpful staff. The only downside is they never seem to consistently keep the same products in stock. Occasionally a favorite product will disappear and I will have to ask them to reorder said product, which they are usually pretty good about doing. It seems in trying to keep a large variety of each product (e.g type, brand, variety) they often eliminate good ones.

I like this store. It's bright and laid out better than the ACME down the road, by Rt 252. At first, I thought they'd close it (this Giant) because it didn't seem to have much traffic and the store was more or less empty all the time, but they grew on me.The service has always been nice so far, too.I like some of the brands they carry here better than the ACME, even though, I must say the ACME is simply more convenient to where we live.

Unfortunately, I agree with the other reviewers. Called the bakery today and was unable to get what I needed. I was told, " just to come in". I explained to the individual that the purpose of my call was to reduce the time in the store, his response didn't change. I encourage the store to look at these reviews as there is an Acme less than a mile from the store that offers great service.

Just stopped in for something to eat. Figuring I'd have to get a lunchables or something like that. Ended up getting fresh hot meatloaf and broiled chicken thighs with green bean casserole. What a perfect lunch for less than 10$ with the drink. The food was amazing and the place is clean as can be.

I shop Giant regularly. It seems I always find a good deal on something there. The staff is very nice and friendly. They are always willing to help you find products and are willing to check as many aisles as necessary to find your requests.

We love shopping at giant stores. The staff are friendly for the most part and the store is well kept. I especially appreciate the staff working through this pandemic as essential staff. They are appreciated
