Attended the Perry County Chamber of Commerce's January 2024 Networking Event held in the upstairs conference room in the Heller's Hardware multi-bay garage. Always a great time is had by all.January was hosted by Fuller Construction and FabWorks custom metal fabrication. The two businesses built the structure.

Won’t be going back. Rented a grinder from them and the blades wouldn’t come off as they stated they would. Had it at my house for an hour, used it for under a minute, took it back. Cost me $237 total, and when i called they’re only giving me $69 dollars back because they’re charging me for the “minimum” of 4 hours even though it wasn’t in my possession for more than 2. The manager told me I don’t understand how rentals work and someone else could have rented it…They don’t seem to know how customer service works. Hope you enjoyed my donation. Don’t recommend their rental service one bit.

Rented a piece of equipment and had to find it outside and load it by myself because there was no employee around to help me.I’d say their employees attitudes are 50/50. Some are very nice and helpful while others act inconvenienced by you.Also, everything they sell is so expensive compared to the big box stores and the prices seem to be going up since they recently remodeled the store and built some new structures.Will only shop here if I absolutely have to.

Had an issue with a chainsaw and an employee named Judge took the time to make sure everything was working and I was satisfied. Great employee! Thank you Judge!

Have bought pellets here for several years. A couple of weeks ago I bought a ton and had them delivered. I initially thought that around 15 bags were unsealed. After calling Hellers about the issue, I was told to return the bags that were open. I'm 70 years old and do not have the vehicle to return them anyhow. My suggestion is to shop elsewhere. Oh yeah, so far I have found 26 unsealed bags and have 10 more to go through. Not particularly happy.

The staff are always helpful and answer any questions. However, my concern is this. Today I stopped in for a gallon of paint and none of the employees were wearing masks and of the 10 customers in the store, one other person and myself were wearing masks. Why?

Owner personally called me to resolve the issue I had while visiting the store. This is exceptional customer service and something that does not happen with the big retail stores. I will be sure to come back for future rentals and purchases.

I used to have a problem with hellers Hardware and gave them a bad review at one time the owner mr. Heller called me himself and we straightened everything out and now Heller's is the only place I'll shop in the area I live. I personally give mr. Heller a thumbs-up for taking the time to call me and get everything squared away he is a good man. I was just at Heller's today 4/10/21. I reserved a rototiller and they are going to deliver it to me Monday at 10 in the morning at one time I gave them a bad review and the owner even offered me a $50 gift card and I refuse to take it because I didn't put the review in just to get a gift card. Mr. Heller and I spoke with each other and we got the problem resolved. So what I'm saying is at that time I was mad and I would drive to Lowe's just to get a wall outlet cover for $0.49 now you can't keep me out of Heller's to get supplies what I'm trying to say is if you have a problem just speak with mr. Haller and things will get resolved instead of putting on a bad review like I did thanks Jim Grant

The other day I went shopping at heller's for some items and I wasn't very pleased with the way that some of the employees we're acting and treated me, but we all have bad days. I just wanted to say the owner from Heller's actually called me and we got everything rectified the gentleman that I spoke to was Mister Heller and he even offered me a gift card but I'm not going to except the gift card because that was not the reason I posted the review. After our conversation I then removed my previous review. I give the store a lot of credit for getting this problem taken care of like gentlemen. So please don't hold my previous review from shopping at heller's.Thanks jim

DOES NOT FOLLOW COVID-19 protocol. Staff did not wear masks, and despite being told of the risk to a heart condition, responded that it was not their issue but ours. Never shop here if you expect RESPECT.
