The store needs to expand and have what most giants have. Other words behind the times.Prices are up compare to other stores and they don't carry alot of larger quantities of items. For example ( hydrogen Peroxide) They carry only the 16oz bottle. Other stores have both and you save alot more with the bigger bottle. I shop here cause it's close and you,save on gas points and also the clearance rack and reduce prices on items that are near there sell by date. Other giants and stores do not do this. They need to carry more items that are more affordable to people. That makes sense to me. For example bacon was $12.99 for,like 20oz. Good grief that's crazy. Also I need to mention 6 of them were reduced by 75 percent, I wonder why. Since this newport is in a rural environment and some of the people come a little bit away and stock up would it not make sense to get items in bigger quantities (not smaller quantities). Please if you want to make a better shopping experience for people plus they can save more. Implement the changes , you will also increase your business. Thank you

Only shop here for whatever I need and if I cannot find it here, I'll shop online. Employees are warm and friendly, and have a good selection of produce which I eat a lot of. Wide selection of deli meats and cheeses along with whatever else you might need.

This is not my usual store since I'm vegan and the selection of products is ok but I'm spoiled! The store is clean, and employees are friendly and efficient. So what is to complain about? A small town store doing their best! Plus, they always have the best organic bananas. I could drive here just for the bananas!

So, only reason I ever stop here is the hidden Chinese restaurant in the back. Their food is phenomenal, cheap, and they give exceptional portions.

We have frequented this store often over the decade, mostly because it is one grocery store that is closest to where we live. The staff has always been pleasant and helpful.Produce has a variety of fresh fruits and vegetables.Meat and seafood always clean and well stocked.The deli has some delicious fresh foods to choose from and the beer and wine selection is fairly diverse.The fuel price here is in line with the area.Watching this store grow over the years has us trusting that they most likely have what you are looking for whenever you decide to stop in.

Majority of associates are very helpful and go the extra mile to find any item requested. Depending on the time of day though (early early or late late) there are less than optimistic folks around and even if I'm looking at something on a pallet if it's on the bottom it's "not here".

Although Giant isn't the closest grocery store to me, i enjoy the trip for the fresh donuts at 2 am.What I don't enjoy is the trash littered in the parking lots, from people leaving their cups sit outside the car doors, rather than walking a couple feet to the trash can.I highly recommend all businesses go plastic free; our beautiful planet is suffering. Plastic made today will not decompose for another 450 years!!!!!!Also, a Recycling Can at every Giant, and every business would make a big difference for our planet!!!!

It's a nice Giant grocery store, well stocked, clean and with helpful employees.The stupid robot thing was pissing me off though. Every time I turned around it was behind me. It needs a bell or something, too quiet.

I bought a bouquet of $17 dollar flowers today, for someone graduating college. When I got them home I found 3 dead mushy flowers down in the cluster of flowers. I didn't have time to return for an exchange. Very disappointing. I thought they were nice when I selected them. I didn't think I had to thoroughly look them over.

This giant is very clean and I keep saying the employees are always working and very pleasant I bought a watermelon from there a few weeks ago and it was the yummiest, juiciest red one I've ever had the deli meat and cheese is always good fresh next time I'll add a ton of pics

I ordered 5 fruit and veggie trays from them. All of them were done very well. Everything seemed fresh. The flower section needs more attention. A lot of beat up or slightly withered bouquets. However, we were being particular due to using the flowers for a centerpiece. Food selection is like any other groc store. The Employees, from my phone call, to me picking up my order and paying, seemed nice and helpful.

They have everything, the prepared foods are pretty reliably good (esp the fried chicken!). Staff here are super friendly - my kids love shopping here and saying hi to the staff and the cleaning robot!Prices can be very high, though. And sales can be annoying. Why do you post that there's a coupon available on an item right there by the item, but then I still have to go back and pick up an ad in the front of the store and clip the coupon to get the sale price? Just give me the sale price.I love the "scan it" app also - I like to bring my own bags, so with scan it I can scan and bag my groceries as I go, which I find very convenient! Bagging groceries was always the worst part of self checkout, especially when I'm buying a lot of stuff, and they usually have limited staffed registers available.I do hate when I get audited using scan it (they call it "quick scan"), and they have to basically unbag all my stuff. Happens every 10 or so trips.

What to say about a grocery store? It's ok. Most of the people are reasonably friendly. Selection is ok for the size of the store. They seem to struggle with keeping the shelves stocked on some items.

I worked here for months and all of the cashiers are a bunch of fakes. All of them run their mouths about the customers. And the manager Wendy is always so pushy and rude. Whenever stuff is left out for too long they usually just put it back on the shelves. They never have anything at this store and their prices are ridiculous. Don’t shop here and don’t work here because it’s a nightmare.
