I have a Keeshond and took her here as her first grooming experience and she’s been going monthly ever since. The staff are incredibly helpful! I really like their texts to remind me of appointments and notify me when she’s ready for pickup. She comes back to me with cute seasonal bandanas too!

Started taking my now year old Border Collie / Pyrenees mix Nala here when she was little and they have been nothing but wonderful to her! She’s gone for her nails and deshedding and can be a bit nervous at times but they work with her to overcome her jitters! Wonderful place!

Brought my himalayan cat here to get her hair shortened, they said she had so many knots so they just shaved her which is completely fine, but her hair is extremely uneven and she came home with a massive gash that looks inflicted by scissors. they told us she went there with the sore. we don’t believe this due to the fact the sore looks fresh and there was never any bleeding or hair loss before taking her. she’s also covered in razor burns which they tried to tell us was flea bites, but once again makes no sense. please don’t take your animals here!

I genuinely HATE being this person but I took my dog Stella to a new groomer and they cut the back of her leg sooooo deep! DO NOT GO TO Flickinger's Paws & Claws-Newport . They are saying they were not aware of the injury even though I pointed it out the second we went and picked her up. Tomorrow I’ll be taking my dog to the vet to see if she needs stitches.

I am pleased with Flickinger's paws and claws in Newport. Which is the only location I ever been to.they have always been able to squeeze me in. My dog( Sophie) is skittish and they get us in and get us out. Easy and pleasy
