Perry County Walmart. This was our stop while camping at Little Buffalo state park. Ice and food fully stocked. Store seemed kinda messy every time we went in. Staff wasn't super friendly. In all fairness, this place was always busy as well. Need to consider an extra employee to run a register and sweep floors. Overall, what you would expect from a DG.

Manager is hands on. She's respectful of customers needs and their requests at register and in aisle. Remaining staff should see her as someone to lead them and set the example. Stay on top of cleanliness of aisles, shelves and public restroom.

Worst dollar general i have ever been too. The employees are lazy, rude, and have VERY poor hygiene, anytime you even ask them a question about a product,they act like you are asking them to give you one of their kidneys. The store is always filthy and smells like body odor, and they are so lazy they can't even stay open the times they're supposed too. i have to drive 25 minutes one way, i got there at 8:42 and i seen the lady locking the door as i was walking to it and i seen her clearly looking right at me, she locked the door and walked away. Inclement weather might have been an excuse for today but this has happened before and the weather was 100% fine. Like i said, never seen a store with so many lazy employees as their is in this one.

Very messy. Things were blocking multiple aisles and items on the shelves were not placed neatly. Not to mention, when I went to purchase my items, the cashier was on his personal cell phone texting while scanning my items. He was so intrigued by what was on his phone that he did not even give me the bag. Horrible service. I do not plan on returning.

I have put applications in for this location store number 8897 three times I've been trying to get ahold of Lisa Potter's I tried dming her I tried calling nothing and then I find out on my Dollar general count that I'm not eligible for hire when I never had an interview!!!!! Secondly the bathroom is disgusting they hardly have any toilet paper it's always dirty the floor needs redone

It has a little bit of everything in the store the only downside is there's a limited number of different "types" of items in the store. They are conveniently located right next to butchers Farm Market and also next to to a family restaurant. Their normal hours of operation are from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. sometimes varying depending on holidays they even have different things for cell phones there in case you're looking for a quick electronic item or even a simple thing as a replacement wallet or a quick drink.

My wife was at the Dollar General today and she said the attitude of those people since it's been reopened has really really went down she said the cashier was absolutely rude and the last time I was there she was rude to me and she was talking about me to the person that was in front of me at the cash register I hope they know they're not the only game in town and that the company, I know I'll never do anything about this so I'm just writing this to get it off my chest the place was great when it reopened and the same employee I'm talking about was absolutely great I guess she got her paycheck and wasn't happy with what she's making an hour I don't know but be patient when you walk in there thanks & good luck. Thought after reopening it would look brighter and clean, but floors and entrance way are dirty. Merchandise ok and usually find what I need but disappointed with the condition of floors. Sliding doors would be awesome!

Every time I go to the Dollar general you need to check your prices or write them down. I get ripped off every time, because the tags are different from what the computer states. I saved myself $3 today because the prices were wrong. So if you go into any Dollar general no matter where you're at. Please double check the prices before you go to the register. You will save yourself money.

Dollar Generals keep popping up all over the place yet I thought their employees are rude when you ask a question. And I used to go all the time at least 3 times a week but now I have officailly boycotted them. Their digital coupons never work, when you ask an employee about it they say it must be your phone... well it's not. I have given them multiple chances and this last week was the straw that broke the camels back. To start off two employees were smoking out front, it may have been for their break but when I went inside no one else was in there and store is all kinds of beat and battered. Then I got a coupon that was 5 dollars off of 20 dollars or more of school supplies. And I had what I thought was over 25 dollars worth plus another 40 dollars worth of items. I go to the register and I ask if my 5 dollar coupon came off along with my 1 dollar off crest tooth paste. The cashier said I dont know you can check at home. She was busy so I let that go. I get home and the 6 dollars that should have been taken off wasn't. So the next day I go back to the DG in town and I show the manager and she added up $19.24 for the 5 dollar off 20 school supply and I counted over 20 bucks, she said rubberband didn't count as school supplies, the elmers stick glue 5 pack did not count as school glue even though it is written on the package, she said it's only liguid glue. I could not believe she this just happened after I just spent 67 dollars there. She said it's not me it's company policy, repeatedly. I said how is school glue different whether it's regular liguid glue or stick it's glue. She said there was nothing she could do it's "company policy". I said okay well can you explain why the dollar didn't come off the crest toothpaste when I didn't buy any of the fine print exclusions, she said not sure but I can do this one for you? What do this for me like it was a favor? WTH. I took my dollar back and left and decided I was going to return everything I bought the day before that wasn't already opened, so I did. Over 5 dollars I returned over 24 dollars worth of items. Inconceivable !!!! This company is bad news with bad news employees. I cannot express my distate in the way things were handled. I will pay 40 cents more at the weis market in town than deal with DG again. I work outside of the small town I live in and can go anywhere outside like walmart, target, etc. And will now do so after this experience and I am glad I am not alone after reading the reviews. Michael is an asset. He is very courteous, respectful, and helpful. Especially with large items that I can't lift. He will take them to the car if he can.

This Dollar General is clean and updated with friendly staff and plenty of products to choose from. Lots of parking makes getting in and out easy as well.

Last time I was in there, there was only 1 cashier and there were more than 15 people in line. Finally the manager came to the front to help out a little bit.
