Wouldn't honor there own ad sale price of soda, 3 for $10. Charged over $17 for it and wouldn't correct to ad price. Ended up returning. Staff wasn't friendly at all, wouldn't recommend going to this store.

I love the deals at Dollar General, but my reason for the 3 Stars is based on the employee interaction. On multiple occassions I have found the employees and management to lack customer service skills and have come across very rude when asked questions. Not only does this type of service hurt Dollar General it also makes it inconvenient for me because after my most recent visit I decided I will no longer shop st that location.My hope is upper management visit this store and provide ALL employees and store management with a refresher course in customer service.

The store manager Toby is so nice and great to deal with. I love this dollar general not only because it's so close but because it is the cleanest and most organized DG I've ever been into. Toby needs a raise she does such a fantastic job with her store.

Love that we have a Dollar General in this area. Can find most of what I need without having to drive to Walmart or a grocery store. Fair prices as well. Staff is for the most part pretty friendly. However, there's a gentleman who works there that should try to smile and at least try to make conversation. He looks miserable and seems irritated at the register. Nobody likes to work but dam hospitality goes a long way.

yeah, not the best staff there. Everytime my mom sends me there with her credit card, someone always have to give me snarky looks and are just straightup rude. You know who you are miss. Other than that, the other staff are pretty ok, not too nice, but not so rude like another person I know.

Well, I love our Newmanstown walmart,WHEN TOBIE IS THERE. When shes not there the shelves DONT get properly stocked & all of us residents of Newmanstown that shop here know if the shelf is empty its usually in the back room& the employees know it too, but when ya ask em if its back there. They dont make a bit of effort to go look

Rude staff thG is too busy chatting with each other than doing their job. If you ask where something is they do not kniw, if you ask a question about the colored "dot" sales they cant explain how to tell if an item is for sale. Store is relatively clean, but obviously not anyones priority

The cashier must of been in a bad mood. She didn't say a word or even looked at me! I said.to her when I was leaving "I hope you have a great day" still nothing was said!!!!

It's ok. Just like all dollar stores. People there are nice. Just a little short staffed though have to wait sometimes before someone comes to the front counter.

Today I went in to redeem my $5 coupon. On a $60 grocery purchase. The poor girl working there was on the phone the whole time. Apparently she was Way Beyond her 40 hours at around 9 a.m. Saturday morning. Hopefully you give her a bonus for sticking it out

Very friendly employees BUT this specific Dollar general ALWAYS has an issue. Either they're Not accepting Food stamps/ WIC because machine is down. Or they're closing @ 8pm because of the low demand of employees.

It's a Dollar General. What more can you say. They have mostly everything and are fairly priced. No specialty items, but everything you need for the day to day.

The staff at this particular Dollar General seem to be short on patients and borderline overstressed to the point of being very rude, all while making feeble attempts to disguise this with passive-aggressive undertones, the store itself is always in some state of disarray, and when there's an issue it can only be resolved by a manager that seems to be MIA for like a year LOL, Seriously I don't think he/she really exists 🤔unless it's your only option I personally would try and avoid it.

Was able to walk in, grab what I needed, and be out in about 5 minutes. Love the convenience. Staff was very nice.

Nope... just don't go there its horrible for us and we live so close to them. Its 1 of only 2 stores in schaefferstown and I will drive 30 minutes to go ANYWHERE ELSE!!
