There aren't many Roy Rogers restaurants around anymore besides the turnpike ones. The food here was good and the guy working the counter was nice. Prices were a bit expensive like at all turnpike eateries and oddly, there were no combo meals, so you had to order items separately. The fixin's bar was really good with lots of sauces and delicious pickles. Everything that my family ordered tasted good, but the french fries were a bit undercooked.

As a truck driver, I usually buy a cup of ice at 7-11 - it's only a quarter. But I stopped at the Blue MTN service plaza on I-76 and the ice machine is broken at 7-11. The sign said to get ice from Roy Rogers. So I figured what the heck, I'll try some onion rings. The onion rings were cold and soggy and the cup of ice (no soda, just ice) was FOUR DOLLARS!!!!! Since I can't very well pull my semi into just any place, I paid it because I needed it. I suspect that the onion rings are probably good when fresh but these had obviously been sitting a LONG time.

I had to give this place a review because the service alone was the ABSOLUTE BEST! I didn't get anyone's name unfortunately but the service I received was absolutely impeccable! From the sweet cashier to the guy who was expediting! Of course the cooks were making things happen as well! They got the very long line down quickly and with ease! Beyond excellent crew! I'm a truck driver so I'll definitely be passing through again! First Roy Roger's experience but definitely not my last!

Paid $25 for an family 8 piece dinner.. put in 1 leg 1 thigh and the rest wings! Went back in and was told that it would be 20 min for more chicken so we had to take some chicken tenders to make up for the fact we didn't have the proper pieces. On top of that the chicken was barely warm and very dry. Will not come to this Roy Rogers ever again!

Ordered 3 piece chicken with mashed potatoes and gravy. Chicken was hard as wood. And mashed potatoes were gross 🤢 🤮🤮🤮🤮🤢End up throwing everything. Don’t waste your money and time here.

Zachary M. Double double charged my other for an order that we placed here.She clearly went through the transaction for our meal and the machine said approved and then for some reason she had to do the transaction because the first one did not go through to the machine. I think this dude did something to the machine because when I questioned him about it I got some vague answer.I told my mom to call her bank and see if it eas double charged...it was just like i thought..My mom has tried to dispute this payment on her card but they said she would have to wait at least a month to dispute the payment.We have been trying to get our money back for the last two weeks after our visit to Pennsylvania.It has been hard to reach management or anyone at this location for a refund. It has me feeling like this dude scams people for their money at this location.Buyer beware

5 stars for the workers only how they can only allow that short of staff is ridiculous. The older lady did her best to accommodate everyone and did the front all by herself. Roy rogers corporate she be ashamed of their self. The two other places were closed so only Roy rogers was open I saw more people working at roy rogers during the day when volume wasn’t that bad because of the other places open. That lady had a longgggg line non stop the cook had a hard time keeping up. Roy rogers corporate you are blessed with good employees try showing them appreciation. While the food was blah Arby’s and Hardee’s has you beat on that your employees were great. We went on 5/19/23 at 8

Worst experience ever, I just want to say ? I insulted my tastes, I love spicy chicken sandwiches, bit, but, that wasn't it, plus cc machine was down, had to be charged an additional 3.50 for my meal, clerk just said well I guess it depends on how hungry now isn't it! I'm appalled by the lack of professionalism and genuine care, in service and food prep. This will be the last dollar I spend here.

Spent $30.17 on lunch kid runs my credit card said it didn't print a receipt so he has to run it again I even show the manager on my phone that it charged my bank he said it will fall off never did .a now my bank won't make it right because it's a regular charge. Roy rogers don't return no calls they must be doing it on purpose to make extra money

The old lady at the counter was extremely rude..Don’t let her old age fool you ,shes just as venomous as some body young and when you press her , she tries to turn on her old lady voice .. don’t be fool .. she’s low key racist.. yes remember at her age she been around since Jim Crow .. look her in the eyes .. food ok but service horrible .. she was acting like it’s white’s only chicken

Went to the store, ordered chicken sandwich and a roast beef sandwich, pretty simple right? Well apparently not for the kitchen.The counter cashier was really nice and honest but a cook in the back was watching TV for a solid 15 minutes before doing anything else. The food was alright but not worth the time wasted just waiting for the food.I wouldn’t recommend this place if you want an in and out experience.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Worst $14 I’ve spent on fast food in …. Well forever. Sandwich was puny, Mac and cheese is probably some cheaper version of Kraft. Yes I understand there is a convenience factor since it’s off the turnpike but I will totally wait 32 more miles to see if another company is available to eat. I stopped bc sbarro was supposed to be open but they weren’t.

5 stats for the staff, cashier was honest!0 stars for the "food"!!!I'm not sure how what "food" they sell is even lega! Doesn't even taste like food! I ordered a golden chicken sandwich. The chicken was rough and not at all good, super unhealthy for what it should be, the bacon felt like I was eating glass it was so hard! The fries were soggy.I NEVER waste food, even if it's not good, but I couldn't finish my meal, it felt wrong to eat.This was my first and last time in ever eating at Roy Roger's! I don't recommend it to anyone!

The older lady at the counter was super sweet. BUT I watched the girl cooking carry raw chicken to a container, then grab the fry basket with the raw chicken still dripping from her gloves, then the salt shaker with the same gross gloves and shake salt all over the fries. Cross contamination, you're going to get someone sick. And she did this all with someone watching, can only imagine what's behind the walls there.

The lady up front rocked it and thats why I will say 3 stars. She took orders and completed orders. However, it was cash only. I waited in line for 15 minutes, to then find out. Then went to atm and got in line again for 15 minutes. Then waited almost 20 minutes on food. There was a total of 8 people in front of me. It shouldn't take an hour to get food for that few of peopleDietary restrictions: Plain hamburgers no bun for gluten free option

Not worth the money or the calories. I get that they are trying to capitalize on the turnpike traffic, but wow. Portions are comparable to the average fast food joint, but the taste was extremely disappointing. And at 9 PM, this was, unfortunately the only place open. I've had better burgers from Speedway.

Heading to Pittsburgh. Stopped here for my favorite roast beef Sandwich. Would you believe....OUT of roast beef at 1230pm.They.just shrugged their shoulders. How in the world......so I ordered their chicken and mashed potatoes...what did you do to the gravey.......called Customer Care...they will report it...nothing else said.

Overpriced. Texas pete chicken sandwich for me and chicken tenders for the kids and hamburger for my wife. Fries were old and cold. Chicken was old and kind of hard. Threw it away. If you think of stopping just keep on driving.

I wish I had seen the reviews BEFORE we spent over $25 on 2 burgers, 2 fries, and 2 drinks. Expensive much? The burgers were dry, and the fries were old. Not worth the money or time. If we hadn't been in such a hurry, we would have taken the food back for a refund!

Food was average, but pretty expensive for fast food. Service was reasonably fast. They do not serve burgers in the morning, and Doris made me aware of that fact (it was not noted on the menu) in a less-than-cheerful way.
