I was used to this being an Amish dry goods store but now it’s a full fledged restaurant This place was buzzing! Clearly not a secret amongst the locals . Delicious omelette! Fast friendly service. A tiny bit off the beaten path but well worth it . I come to the area a lot and was used to driving down to Shippensburg for eats! This would be one of two great places very near to the PA Turnpike

I had breakfast this time. Egg over easy was perfectly cooked. They use fresh, not frozen potatoes for their homefries and the sticky bun was served warm and was delicious. If you want the sticky bun, get there early. Employees are attentive and friendly. Service was great. I will be going one day to try their lunch service.There is some country shopping for after you eat.

So glad that we picked this place. It was absolutely so heartwarming and comfortable and very beautiful! Inside The bathroom was totally immaculate. I wish that I can give them bigger than a five star. Probably one of the best restaurants I have been in a long time. The food was excellent, came out in a timely manner. There's probably about 25 to 30 other people there and within 10 minutes we had our food. Drove four and a half hours to get down here. The whole place was absolutely clean. Nice Amish waitresses that were very pleasant and worked well together and bounced around. All our drinks are totally full all the time and that smiles on their faces. I think my waitress name was Carissa. I forget long drive. Little tired. Hope you do not sidestep from the beautiful service and quality of food you have. God bless you and your restaurant 🙌🏽🙏🏽 ❤️

The only down side to this place is that they are only open for breakfast and lunch. I’ve been here several times, they are always packed full. Great waitresses, and should I even start on the food? Let’s just say, it’s about like being served your favorite dishes at home! Big servings and the prices are on the cheap side. You simply can not go wrong by coming here.

Heard about the place and was first time there to try out their breakfast. Took a coworker for bday treat. Nice country setting, clean and friendly atmosphere and great selection for breakfast.Fresh baked goods and giftware/ideas.Looking forward to future visits.Wheelchair accessibility: Parking lot is stone covered with handicap stalls by front door.

A hidden gem! Food was very good. Menu is limited for breakfast and nothing fancy - no egg white omelets or specialty omelet items - but you don't need them here! The breakfast items are generous and delicious! I had the haystack, biscuit, hashbrowns, scrambled eggs and country gravy. Yummy! This doesn't come with toast (not that you need it) but I did taste my husband and oh my so good!I'm not a donut person but tasted the cinnamon roll and peanut butter chocolate glazed and they were amazing!! Peanut butter one was good enough I might even get one myself the next time we go!!

It was great! The staff are nice and the food is great! I haven't had a bad experience ever! it's kid friendly and has gumball machines and Skittles and mnmsKid-friendliness: High chairs, booster seats, and staff are great with the kids.

The Country Store Cafe is one of our favorite local breakfast spots - and judging from the always-full parking lot, we’re not alone. The food is amazing, served up piping hot and cooked to perfection, prices are reasonable, and the staff are all incredibly attentive and courteous. The Breakfast Haystack is a must-try: a biscuit covered in scrambled eggs, hash browns, cheese and sausage gravy - and honestly everything we’ve tried there has been fantastic. They’ve also got a great selection of fresh doughnuts, pastries, pies, and breads as well as a charming country store. It’s a bit off the beaten path, but 100% worth the trek.

Our server was Marion an what a great job. I do tend to ask questions about changes or options when I eat out and she just plain made our whole table happy. We will definitely be eating here again. Great food, great service. Also brought our table 3 different kinds of hot sauce. The smokey habanero was delicious!! What more can you ask for??

So glad we decided to try this place. You can tell it’s good because there was a line(20 min maybe) to get seated. Started off with a cinnamon bun and it was so good we grabbed a 4 pack off the shelf to take home. Meat lovers omelets were full of really good bacon, sausage and ham. The toast was so good that we forgot to put jelly on it, not that it needed it. I took a few donuts to go and wow they were amazing and felt like a couple pounds in the bag. Can’t wait to go back here again. Definitely worth the drive out of the way.

Service was excellent and all staff were very polite. Prices are fair and portions are large. Food tasted excellent. I had the chicken fried steak, eggs, taters with homemade wheat bread. Also bought 6 donuts to share with family. Everything was excellent. I come back to PA I am definitely coming back to this restaurant. I have nothing negative to say or changes to suggest. This is how a restaurant should be run.
