If you want your pet well cared for with true pet lovers, this is the place. It was our first time here and definitely wont be our last. We had to schedule a last minute visit for our 13 year old golden who needed help crossing over the rainbow bridge. The staff had a private room and another private room to wait for while they prep. They walked us through the entire process and gave us all the time before and after to say "see you later girly girl" At no given time did we feel rushed or unwelcomed. They also took some paw prints that we asked. Jackie was in good hands till she crossed and i would certainly recommend them to everyone who wants true care and compassion for their pet. Thank you so much for the love and support you gave Jackie and us. We will be bringing her siblings in as life long clients.

Dr Snyder is fantastic, she was able to figure out my dogs ongoing problems he has had for months by thinking outside of the box with possible causes for his symptoms and offering diagnostics that no other vet recommended . She will always be my go to for any of my dogs for taking those extra steps to get to the bottom of what was going on, and the level of concern she has. All of the staff is extremely friendly and the environment is clean and welcoming. Highly Recommended

This place is so amazing, the most caring techs and vets, they got us in during the most awful time of need to send our Jackie to the rainbow bridge, they explained everything in detail and gave us so much time with her. They even had a room ready for the second we walked in the door. And had mother room ready for us for them to get the IV started so we aren’t in the waiting room crying. They were so helpful and kind to us during this awful time. We will definitely be bringing our other 2 fur babies here for all future check up’s and needs.

We've been using this vet hospital for a year now and are very happy with it. Our pup was neutered here and he received excellent care. We just had our annual visit and they are so welcoming. Highly recommend. Their Paw Spaw is also very nice.

I brought my dad in so he could get his Yorkie trimmed and cleaned. It was really clean, and the groomer was friendly and efficient. My dad's dog looked like an entirely different dog. The price was reasonable too.

I have had to put my dog down, which was quite difficult. The Vet and staff were very compassionate throughout the process. Last year my daughter had to put her dog down and it was an emotional process, but the staff were top.knotch!

Friendly atmosphere but pricey. Never had any issues with this vet, they seem down to earth n not quick to lecture, judge or suggest un needed things. Just wish their pricing was better. Its tick season so we stocked up, protect your pets get preventive chews for them..

Awesome place! Very careing, nice, professional, & friendly staff with not only me but to my dog also. Prices affordable. I needed an emergency appt. they got us in their office within mins and took very good care of my teacup poodle Precious. Will deffenetly continue to take my dog here! Most deffenetly recommend!! Can't go wrong and Dr. was so sweet and careing! Atmosphere delightful very clean and animal friendly. We loved our experience here. Thank you North Memorial Animal Hospital!!!

As a pet owner for some time now and experience with regular and ER vets, this facility is among the best of the best! The staff was kind enough to take my information in case of an opening on a same day appointment. They called back within an hour because something opened up. There was no emergency fee, like other places, to get in same day. The staff is kind, patient, considerate, and follow COVID protocol. I feel very safe there and measures are taken to try to keep cats calm, i.e. separate visiting rooms from doggos. The tech was soft spoken to keep our kitty calm, the were gentle with him, and expressed genuine concern. Even after a general exam, bloodwork, antibiotics, subcu fluids, and anti nausea meds, the bill was extremely reasonable. I'm very pleased and so happy to know they're my go to option... and local!! THANK YOU NMHV! Dudley (😺) is on the mend because of their great care!!! They will be our vet of choice for future care.

Very good pet care. They anticipate the emotional turmoil owners feel when deciding to put their pet(s) to rest. Compassionate and caring. The great vet services come at a high price, however, the emergency aid, medicines, dental, shots & wellness visits are very expensive!

I have never taken any of my pets to North Memorial Animal Hospital before this experience. My 9yr old dog got loose and hurt his leg. The vet I have gone to in the past was closed. North Memorial scheduled an appointment the same day, the staff were very welcoming, professional and knowledgeable. After an x-ray, we found out his leg was broken. Dr. Hoffman compassionately and professionally explained our options. We ultimately decided on amputation. The process could not have gone any smoother. The cost was less than I expected and we have our dog home. He is doing very well, recovering quickly, happy and getting better every day. I highly recommend North Memorial Animal Hospital.

I brought my dog in on a Tuesday because she had been sick for two weeks throwing up as soon as she swallows food, losing weight and lethargic. They did an x-ray and bloodwork for $300 and said everything looked fine, gave her fluids and sent us home with no solution.. I called a few days later to let them know she wasn't getting any better and they said they could do a second x ray.. I decided to get a second opinion because I felt my concerns weren't being taken seriously. I took my dog to Apple Grove and they were absolutely fantastic.. after an x ray and an ultrasound they determined that my dog had a 4 inch blockage in her intestine and had to do emergency surgery to remove it. My dog would have died if I would have listened to North memorial animal hospitals diagnoses, there is so much more they could have and should have done for her. We will not be back.

Dr. Snyder and the staff were absolutely amazing. We came in for a second opinion today. Made me and my Oswald feel so comfortable. They took the time to explain everything and made sure I had a great understanding. They listened to my concerns and made my feelings feel validated. I can not say enough good things for the ladies who work there. They went above and beyond my expectations with my dog. Dr. Altman came in early for my dogs emergency. They explained everything they were doing for my dog. After all of their efforts I eventually lost my dog. They were so compassionate...I will never take any of my future animals anywhere else. I Didn't think my daughter deserved the attitude and snarky response from their worker. My daughter called in a prescription for our cat, then followed the pickup instructions to the letter. Worker acted like she was lying that they told her it would be ready, (which it was not). Then says she should "thank her lucky stars" that it was able to be filled. Ridiculous

The tech was extra special with my dog! Even the girls at the desk were very very cordial. I think Mary was her name that helped me out to my car, stated Fred's leash might get tangled on my cane & I might fall. I highly recommend North Memorial. A big thank you to Mary & Lindsay!

This is a multipurpose pet hospital and grooming facility. To start with, the people answering the phone were superb. They are friendly and helpful. They got all of our pets records transferred and rescheduled our first appointment due to weather with no complaints.Our visit was also excellent. The vet was friendly and knowledgeable. The staff were very helpful getting multiple dogs settled. Since they had records, they new exactly what to give them. The vet did exams and came back with solid recommendations. I was very please.Their fees were consistent with what I have pain in other pet hospitals. They helped us get everyone back in the truck and checkout was very easyI highly recommend them for the care of your pet.

I've been to North Memorial a few times with my cats. The staff was always friendly & attentive & caring. Each time I went it was due to an urgent & unexpected situation & I was able to be seen on short notice. The last time I had a kitten who was lethargic & having trouble breathing. I had take this kitten to a different vet twice days before with the same symptoms & was sent home with an antibiotic. North Memorial said that my kitten had pneumonia & that he needed to be taken to a veterinary hospital in Pittsburgh. I took him there but sadly he was so sick that he had to be euthenized. The staff was so compassionate. I'm grateful that North Memorial saw how dire my kitten's situation was & did the best they could to try to help. The outcome was heartbreaking but the other vet missed all the signs of how sick my kitten was.

After going here for 20 years its time to think of a new facility to bring my animals. I hate to say it the dr’s are fantastic. But when i bring my dog in cause she is in pain and the assistants persist to tug on my dog till she yelps just to get her on the scale i have a serious problem with that . I hate to bring her anywhere else but i brought my dog there for care nor the opposite. Thanks for for the many years but thats a deal breaker for me
