At the suggestion of a newly transplanted resident, we visited this interesting co-op of businesses. The coffee shop and winery were closed, but the converted garage was open. The space acts as an arcade, dining room, stage, and listening space for live music. The spray painted walls lend a gritty, sophomoric feel to the space that compliments the multicolored drop ceiling tiles. The space was clean and the staff were friendly and attentive.I did not order food, as i was late in arriving. The others in our party thought they had ordered a pizza. They were served a flatbread with canned sauce and a smattering of cheese and pepperoni. Unfortunately, it did not meet their expectations. In our party of five, two had wine, two had beer, and one had cider. The cider was reportedly 'very sweet'. The "wheat beer" I was promised was actually bitter and strongly flavored with hops. In researching "Kölsch" for this review, I'm finding that the beer resembles its moniker. Now my reservation rests in the bartender's description. The overreaching theme seems to be a lack of training for the staff to be able to effectively communicate and set the expectations for the clientele. I see a lot of potential in this collection of businesses that are deeply rooted in their community. We're looking forward to an improved experience in future visits.

I had a cider/seltzer tasting for $10 on a very slow Friday night. The bartender was nice. I stopped by on a Saturday morning at 8 am to grab pulse coffee but they didn’t seem to be open. The one thing I’ll say is that with multiple businesses and entrances it’s kind of confusing.

Visiting family back home and had to run to New Castle. We had Nikolai with us on our travels, as always.😁Looked for some new dog friendly spots and came across New Wilmington and The Fractured Grape , Pulse Coffe house. Excellent place to stop. Pet friendly with great seating inside and outside. We tried flights of wine, coffee and a doughnut. The 3 if us plus Nikolai shared it all.Great choice of wines, food and coffee . Even though it's separate business, it's great to see them help each other.Ask for a menu as there are plenty of food choices.

We came with a wheelchair bound adult. We were greeted with a smiling face and told about the brewery/food area up a few steps. Since we were unable to go up the steps, the staff very graciously offered to open the garage door and showed us to a handicap accessible spot. The food was DELICIOUS and we are SO grateful for the staff’s hospitality.

Jacob and his fantastic hosting team helped us have a phenomenal gathering for our family here … in addition the appetizers, live music, and seasonal ciders and drinks on tap were wonderful. Thank you!

The bartender was very rude. I had asked for a small sample of the beer to try before ordering and he implied I was trying to get something for free. I have never been to a brewery where they weren’t happy to let you have a very small sample before ordering an entire glass. Not friendly at all either. We had six people and were planning on staying and eating there as well. We left! Won’t return!

Went again yesterday. The young man was extremely helpful and friendly. Good wines and decent pricing. Also love the fact the wines donate to different charities.

My husband and I just enjoyed an evening at a Super Bowl charcuterie board class put on here. It was very nice and something totally different to do on a Wednesday night. The food we ate before the class was tasty….we didn’t think ahead coz we definitely had plenty of great tasting snacks during the class also. But had plenty of things to take home with us as well. Great Job on a Well Crafted Experience!

I love this place and I wish i could rate it a 5. You guys need a bell or something. It takes a really lonnnnggg time to get any service and I only go in for a bottle of wine. One time me and 6 other people were waiting in the lobby for a half hour waiting for service. And it makes you feel guilty interrupting the workers from whatever they are doing in the back.

We enjoyed our visit to the Fractured Grape! The salted caramel hot chocolate was especially enjoyable. Good place for visiting with family while enjoying a warm drink on a cold day.

The wine was delicious! It was a cute place and they have a room that has board games and another for wine tasting and a third which was the brewery. They all had a nice atmosphere but the brewery had a vomit/dog feces smell that forced us to go to another area so we could enjoy our beverages. Other than that smell, it was wonderful ( and the odor was not present in the other two areas) the wine was 5 stars! And they have a good range of dry to sweet.

Not traditional tasting, but I'd do that again. We were able to try all 8 wines and 4 beers and a small cheese/cracker board for $26. That was well worth it and we were able to narrow down our favorites without feeling rushed through the experience either. I'll definitely be going back for more Plasma.

Went in to try wines and potentially buy some, was disappointed in the quality. All of the wines taste and feel very syrupy like they either mix grape juice and grain alcohol together or they sweeten with syrup instead of sugar, either way it was not good. The prices are upwards of $15 for what seems of a lower quality than Barefoot. On top of that I was asked by the salesperson to tip them for their helping me. I have never openly and so brazenly been asked for a tip before and was taken aback. All in all, its nice for the community but bad for anyone who actually enjoys real wine.

The wine is... okay. Prices are rather elevated for the lower shelf wine they sell. The interior is rather different and I would describe it as "Doctor's office meets half-finished basement" my guess to capture the doctor's office name and theme. They could've spent more time making the atmosphere a bit more eclectic to better match the country setting of New Wilmington. Not a bad place for special events as they have a giant back room for sitting and socializing. Would not necessarily recommend if you're stopping by for just a glass of wine.

The wine is great and such a nice atmosphere! I have been to both locations many times and have no complaints. Relaxation is my favorite! I have never had the food or tried the beer, so that is up next!

We ordered food at 5pm. They said to come pick it up at 5:20. We go to pick up our food and they said their kitchen staff never showed up and our food wasn't made yet. We waited until 6pm to have our food. Sandwiches and wraps were good but the chips were stale from being in a styrofoam container with hot food. Hoping for a better experience next time.

Fractured grape winery & the attached hop asylum brewery also serve great food! Live music Saturday nights from 7-9pm rounds out my weekend and a bottle of beer or cider usually follows me home. Try the antipasto melt and stay for the music Saturdays

Disappointed all around. Called ahead to make sure they were open and serving food. Yes and Yes I was told. Got there and no hot food because oven was broke. Maybe you should have told me that when I called. Ordered two wraps. One had hardly any chicken and was dripping wet. Place was freezing. Slushes had no flavor. $40! Won't be back :(

Dog friendly and if you don't want just wine and cheese slip over to the pizza joint across the street and they'll let you enjoy your dinner at the fractured grape porch!
