I miss Dr. Sword, so much!! I've been going there for 14 years with Dr Revlt , Dr Sword did my baby's surgery, and 2 years later, when I had to put her down,😭 Dr Sword cried with me 😪 she was amazing. There is a new owner now and I'm looking forward to meeting her also. I hear she is very nice! Just hope it's no time soon 🐶

DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!If you have an emergency, forget it! My dog had an emergency and needed seen on a Friday. The vet told me their schedule is full and I could be seen on Monday or take them to Cheat Lake Animal Hospital emergency vet. New Stanton vet should see their own clients when they have an emergency. Due to this, I will move all 8 of my pets to a new office. Also, they don't have weekend hours or many weekday evening hours. The vet isn't very thorough, overall, just not happy with this vet at all.

This is my favorite vet ever. I'm kind of a lot about my cat, Max and how he's treated at the vet and this experience was superb. I expressed my disinterest in my car being handled aggressively and was met with complete understanding and compassion. Max needed his nails cut and after 3 paws he'd had enough and hissed. At that point they stopped and I respect that so much. Because why put him through more stress when you can just stop, you know? He had a stressful time in the car and being at a new place. I can't speak highly enough of this vet. I highly recommend taking all of your fur babies here. They will be treated with an exceptional amount of kindness and respect.

So far so good everyone was extremely caring, extremely empathetic and extremely helpful! They even have a lab on site! This is unbelievable for a Small Town vet. The doctors are kind and loving with the animals for sure along with all the staff. Going back for another visit today.

I could not be more thankful for this place. I live right next door, my cat fell off our balcony which is about 1 1/2 floors up. I ran him over there even tho he is not a patient there and they took him straight away to look over him. They were very compassionate and did everything they could to also calm me down. I felt like they took amazing care of him and even took the time to explain everything they seen on the X-ray and on the observations they found. I don’t think I’ll ever be able to find the words to thank the people working there today.

Used to recommend them highly for years until they got a new assistant or fresh out of school veterinarian, not sure which. She was not good with my 17 year old cat; cut him while shaving his back and made him scream while administering a shot (two separate visits within a week). If I get another cat, (mine died within a couple of the last visit), I won't go back there. Was willing to forgive and forget the cut while shaving, but watching my fur baby screaming was too much. Note I am not saying he died because of this treatment. It's the way he was handled that still breaks my heart.

They are a wonderful place. When my precious dog of 15 years was having some serious emergent health issues I was able to bring her in and she was treated immediately. Unfortunately she was needed to be put down and due to all the stress and the unfortunate outcome of that visit they charge me nothing for the treatment and the euthanasia. From the office staff to the techs and the two veterinarians I can pick a better place to recommend for someone to go they are amazing and very caring.

I initially really liked Dr. Revelt and had been taking our felines to her starting in 2000. She euthanized two of our pets once the time had come. We recommended this Vet to multiple individuals including my brother in law. Hadn't been in for a visit in several years due to Covid and life in general, called for an emergency for one of our cats and were told since we hadn't been in for an extended period of time, we're no longer patients... extremely displeased to say the least. Would not recommend this practice to anyone. No compassion whatsoever. If I could give her negative stars as a rating, I would.

The secretary at the front desk is very rude. The vet tech did my lucky dogs nails and made 3 of them bleed. The owner of the place is very rude. The one vet Dr. Sword is the only good person in the whole place. If she had her own office she would be an awesome vet to go too.

I can understand the frustration of a vet that is "not taking on new clients" in some of these reviews, however you would not an office who does not know the limit of their ability to serve all their clients WELL. Would you want to wait for 2 months for an appointment that you really need?I loved Dr. Revelt over 10 years ago when she was with Donaldson's Animal Hospital in Jeannette. When she opened her own practice, I was on her waiting list for close to a year to switch from Donaldson's (where I had a very bad , rude experience when I had to put my golden retriever mix down) I have never had any problems with her service or her office. They are wonderful with all my animals and I can get seen promptly when I have a non-routine problem. I would highly recommend this vet, you just may need to be patient.

This is the best Veterinarian I've ever taken any of my babies to. I've been going here for 10 years and without a doubt they are the most compassionate, understanding and beautiful people I've ever met. When I moved to my current residence, I thought I might change to the Vet who is only 7 minutes away. I have gone there twice, and although they are nice, they don't have the compassion that New Stanton Vet Service does and I will not change. Where I lived previously, there was a vet only 5 minutes away, that I wouldn't refer my worst enemy to.It's a shame that Dr. Revelt's popularity and the caring nature of the entire staff means that they do not take new patients a lot, but to hold this against them in a review on their practice is just insane. As someone else asked, would you want to wait months to get in? I was very lucky to get in with them when I did 10 years ago and I wouldn't trade them for ANYTHING!! I can't speak highly enough about the staff and Vets at this office and if you're lucky enough to get in, I'm sure you will feel the exact same way!!

Staff is always rude, with the exception of Dr Jessica. Dr Revelt started off years ago being very friendly and lower priced. Now she's nasty and expensive. I was pushed by my ex's family to have to deal with her and the rude office staff, who I have heard on more than one occasion complain about her nasty, controlling behavior themselves. Now I am thankful for more friendly and affordable choices elsewhere.

Our first visit here was for our 11-year-old cat who was fast losing weight and could barely move his back legs. Dr. Revelt immediately recognized the symptoms and confirmed with a blood test he was diabetic. Not only was the diagnosis that easy, but she had all the supplies needed to get his sugar under control and keep it maintained: special diet, insulin, syringes, and regular blood tests. In only a few months he was perfectly regulated and had completely regained his mobility! Her loving and knowledgeable care added many happy and healthy years to his life.

She really knows her stuff & can explain what’s going on in plain English, and give you treatment options. Jan 11, 2016 I pulled off the road with a dog who was experiencing his own, personal meltdown. I had no appointment, would never be back, walked in off the highway with a dog in trouble. The staff was responsive and the Veterinarian thorough and compassionate. We got meds for him to make the rest of his trip comfortable. I have not forgotten their kindness or professionalism. Thank you, again.

Yeah, had a large abscess develop on my dog overnight making it difficult for her to walk. I attempted to call them every five minutes for an hour, every time I received a busy signal. I find it difficult to have confidence in a place that doesn’t have call waiting, voicemail, or even a website. First impressions are lasting impressions. Thank you, but I’ll take my business elsewhere.

We just moved from Florida to Pennsylvania and hadn't found a vet yet.Our elderly dog was ill and needed to be put to sleep. I had read some of the bad reviews, and was very leery about taking him here, I loved my boy so much.I'm glad I didn't listen to the poor reviews , this veterinarian and her staff are WONDERFUL!! They were patient, compassionate and kind.....my baby was well taken care of. The vet even hugged us and said how sorry she was.We have found our forever vet, I can't recommend them highly enough.Thank you, New. Stanton Veterinary Services!!
