Hepler’s Hardware of New Stanton offers just about everything needed for home maintenance and repair. Accessed via Rt 119N or S 4th Street Extension, this big-little hardware store houses an impressive array of items ranging from kitchen supplies and live plants to plumbing and electrical supplies to power tools and lumber to mulch and trash cans. They appear to have it all in a relatively small plot of land. In addition to the impressive array of supplies, they offer friendly service, ample parking, and reasonable prices.

Went in to buy a chainsaw. I know some, but not as mush as I thought after talking with the guy there (can’t remember his name). I was stuck between 2 models. 1 more expensive than the other and instead of trying to sell me something expensive he actually recommended something right in the middle and that’s what I purchased based off his expert advice. I will absolutely buy more equipment there when I need.

1. Great selection of hardware and everything you need.Issues I have are lack of communication over the phone compared to in store knowledge. The person that is on the phone needs to know and understand the store. (Example) called about ducks I said please hold 2 they say okay I get there and there was no ducks. So did the person over the phone look to see what product was on the floor or not.It's always great to support local businesses but to keep people shopping local instead of big box stores you need to have that extra knowledge and want to know more about everything the store has.Thanks

My only regret is that I did not contact Heplers Hardware long ago to have my fencing done. Excellent customer service and the job was competed as promised. Price was very fair also. Jeremiah delivered as promised. Old fashioned customer service that the big box stores need to study.

Staff are incredibly helpful, knowledgeable and polite. Every time I've stopped in, someone has been over to see if I need help within minutes. The store seems to be very well managed and all the staff do a great job. Highly recommend!

The people that work here are extremely kind and helpful. They are knowledgeable and willing to answer any questions you could have. Quality over quantity is always better in my book and these people are just that.

Fence installation. Started out great and went down from there. Sent 1 installer who was injured to complete the job. Customer service and communication poor at best. Mailed payment- business lost our check and was very rude about it. Called us back the next day and miraculously found our check- after I had already paid the stop payment fee w/ the bank. ...Business didnt even apologize for yet another hassle. Won't use again.

Just a GREAT PLACE that I've been going to for years. ALWAYS helpful and ALWAYS friendly. Just a shame theirs not more places like this. In over 40 years, I can't think of a problem they've ever not helped me with. ☆here's an Xtra star.

Excessive Overkill

I had 18 fairly new chainsaw blades "sharpened" there at the last chainsaw days weekend. I just pulled them out to use. I would be better trying to cut wood with a rock. They all still have the red crayon marking used to mark where sharpening starts so I didn't mix them up. When I looked closer they barely touched the cutting blade. I always buy the yellow "pro" chains as I have for 25 yrs. and now I have junk. Have to pay someone else to do the job right as I'm afraid if I take them back they would grind them to nothing. Never make that mistake again.

I started answering questions for this store I messed up cuz I thought it was for another review so some of them are wrong but I realized halfway through I was answering for another place this store I give five stars it is very great they have everything you can imagine I will always go there

They have always had anything basic that I've needed. I sometimes need oddball tools for work and have never found anything here the no one else carries, but the staff is the nicest and most helpful that I've encountered in any hardware store, big or small.

Heplers is a great store to get expert advice, competitive pricing and good selection. They take time to make sure your questions are answered and go above and beyond to satisfy the customer. I've never had a poor experience there.

Took my chainsaw in for minor maintenance (fuel filter). Mechanic strips out bolt holding on carburetor and says "sorry, your saw is now junk, we can probably give you a deal on a new one." Owner comes down & says NO, that he doesn't want my boat anchor & offers me a free chain if I buy a new saw. I came home and fixed their screw up myself for $7. Thanks for saving me a boatload of money, you'll never see me again!!!

I had a problem and went to a big box store, the people there wanted to help but couldn't. I then went here and the guys knew what I needed and even told me how to do it. This is now my first stop every time.
