This place has been 1 big mess since it opened yrs ago. Finally they have hired a Manager "Jeremy" that knows what he is doing and has a good attitude about "customer service". Give Jeremy a month to undo all the messes and drama that the previous so called manager left him and the IMPROVEMENTS will be obvious and well worth it. Say hello to Jeremy while your there or if you need help and he will go out if his way to make sure you leave the store with everything you need and a smile on your face. SEPT 29 2023

1 star ⭐️ Cause of the simple fact that they have there hour’s on thier website as they are open till 10pm and THEY ARE NOT! They are only open till 9pm and there website was supposedly “UPDATED 2 WEEKS AGO “ 🤪. Drove all the way there only to waste my gas n time! UPDATE YOUR WEBSITE DOLLAR GENERAL!!!

This store is a black cloud....any time I stop there it's either closed when it should be open,they are low on stock of everything or their credit card machines aren't working. I'll skip this location and head to Youngwood or Greensburg from now on.

Dollar General has reopened after the fire! That's both a good and a bad thing, because every single person who worked there previously is gone.The original manager who took over the store likes to blast rock music with heavy drums throughout the store. I, personally, like that kind of music. However, when I'm trying to shop and think, I do not. It was so loud that I left halfway through my shopping trip because I was getting a bad migraine. Any attempt to talk to said manager ended in him rudely telling you he could play whatever he wanted. I walked out of the store one other time because the same manager was there playing the same loud music. Loud is one thing. Migraine inducing is another.Thankfully, the music has been at an appropriate level the last few times I've been in there, though I haven't seen the same manager. However, now they're inquiring about your purse before you even get out of the vestibule. There is a sign on the door saying any backpacks and bags have to be left behind the register. I totally understand that this is for theft purposes. I was surprised to be questioned about my purse, though. I don't blame the people working in the store. They're just doing their jobs, but whomever decided this was an appropriate way to deal with the issue needs to rethink their approach. I would highly suggest just taking your keys and wallet in and lock your purse in the car.After all of this, it just seems much easier to go to Youngwood.

They have a huge variety of stuff. Things you wouldn't think they'd even have. I've even found great gifts that people loved and thought I got them online or some big fancy store. They have the cutest dog lover mugs right now that come with a little ceramic spoon. My mom actually got me this for Christmas & I just love it! Had to go get more. Clean store & friendly workers.

I love these stores. They seem to always be stocking shelves. I seen stock racks in the isles all the time. But they do seem to have a great selection of things that I look for. The staff is generally great to deal with.

They had a clearance sale, so I selected 3 items, went to register to find out the 3 items that were scattered all over place with everything else, didn't fall into the same categories & couldn't get sale price. It was confusing & ended up buying nothing because I couldn't find things to follow sale rules. So nothing against employees (they agreed it was confusing) but company needs to rethink these guidelines.

I come to the DG mainly when denise is working, she is friendly to all the customers and helpful. I always see her chatting with people while ringing them up. It's a very clean store and they have good sales!

Went to Walmart to buy a card for a grad party. Got to the register and it’s cards only, no cash and I only had a five on me. I was in line long enough to not want to do it again so I leftI stopped here because the party was close, took my card in this time to be safe. The card was marked $3.89, so I go to the register and the grumpy lady says “$1.06”I only had my card this time, and when I went to insert my chip she slammed her hands on the counter and very audibly grunted. She had the audacity to say “it’s a freakin dollar” under her breath as she slammed more stuff around. Older lady with glasses and dark hair.I couldn’t believe it. Put her in the back stocking shelves or something. It’s a shame because it was my first time coming here since it opened but no thanks on that behavior

DollarGenerals are usually cluttered in my area. I've been to a few. So it wasn't dirty like cleanliness was lacking, they just pack as much product in n an area and it is a pain to maneuver at times

It's a Dollar General. There's more cameras than rolls of toilet paper in stock, everything is security tagged and there's security sensors at the door, all for everything that couldn't cost more than $15 in a store the employees can literally see down every aisle of. Fort Knox should have a Zoom meeting with DG's CEO about upping their security standards. It's gonna have what you'd expect at a Dollar General and there's one between every house in every town, so there's a convenience factor there. I'm not sure what you were expecting from a Dollar General review.

Nice place to pick up something quick or odd and ends. Some stuff is cheaper than wal mart and some stuff is a little more money than wal mart, you just have to pay a little attention. Overall nice place.

Some staff very pleasant. Like this dollar general the best .they will open 2 register if their our a few people their ..No long waits like Norvelt or Youngwood...

Brand new store. It compliments the area which is loaded with restaurants, gas stations and hotels but no general merchandise stores. Store seems to be well stocked and clean.
