This store offers a good selection of things although the shelves never stay full. It's pretty popular. You can buy just about anything here and the prices aren't bad. I love when they have their sales. You can easily purchase things for $1 that are worth at least 10x that originally.

Nice store. I only went for batteries. But, the male worker that was there (on Jan 11, 2020 around maybe 3pm) was super friendly & very kind!! There was a lady in front of me who needed 7cents. He offered it to her! Sweetheart! He deserves a raise...

Staff was friendly and helpful. Store itself was confusing and cluttered.. Checkout process was quick. They didn't have some of the things I usually get from there that I needed like original Dial soap and Old Spice Krakengard deodorant, but the things they did have that i needed were well priced and discounted.

This place needs extreme work being organized. It's sooo messy and gross in there. I've been here several times and it's always the same. Shelves are a complete mess. Merchandise on floors. Guy wears a mask under his mouth at counter last 3 times I was there. What a MESS!!! Sanitize and organize!!

The manager is amazing. So friendly and helpful. However, I'm usually finding myself moving boxes and such to get to what I want on shelves. Also hate the music they have playing...and it's way too loud!

The cashier who waited on me did not greet me or speak to me. He charged me for 6 of an item when I only purchased 5 of them. He immediately left the register as as soon as he completed ringing up my purchases without speaking a word to me. He left the bags with my purchases way over on his side of the counter instead of pushing them towards my side and I had to reach way under the plexiglass to get the bags. I did not discover the overcharge until I got home and looked at my receipt. I figured at that point it was my word against his and I wouldn't get my money back anyway. I shopped at that dollar store frequently since it opened but won't be going there again, at least not until they replace that guy or he learns some basic manners and how to count.

This place feel nasty when you walk in and when you get to the register you get treated like you just messed up the cashier's whole day because your shopping in her store. You leave feeling like you need a shower and glaze your self in sanitizer.

Found stuff I went for plus some line that store blonde hair cut works there's always helpful always finds it if u can't like today Mason jar red lids I looked and looked he found em but just great store an associate always friendly an so helpful

Store was really a disaster. It was hard to get through the aisles due to stocking carts,trash and merchandise all cluttering up aisles and pretty much everywhere you turned

They have a very nice staff..GREAT customer service. But, the checkout line was just RIDICULOUS! One cashier, holiday time, I was number 13 before they opened the other register...SMH! Not good

I have always supported the Dollar generals in the area the last several times I've been in there the shelves are empty things or not stocked you can't walk through there so many things in the aisle New Kensington just opened a new family Dollar very nice and stocked and clean

Fourth of July fireworks families coming to New kensington, parked w several other family's on edge of parking lot plenty of space for customers, store almost closed not a lot shoppers! If the general had been present I gladly would have spent a lot more than a dollar, but alas out comes a young PFC female store manager who informed everyone they had to leave, did not even ask if they were patrons, explained that I was handicapped and could not walk long distances and needed to sit quite frequently, not to mention the heat even at 2100 hrs. No everyone had to leave and I believe she used against company policy a local street person who was not security or employed by the general as muscle, everyone one moved five or six family's with kids now disappointed try to find New spot to park what happens ten minutes later New people pull in, nothing more was said. General maybe PFC needs to be recycled to a training platoon to learn empathy and understanding, or better solution send her to OCS shake and bake ninety day wonder pin on some shiny butter bars🤣 now we have an officer and gentlewoman, officers understand how to put money in the register without disappointing and upsetting kids and parents! Until she graduates shop at family dollar better selection, better prices, better attitude two convient locations and if you see the "general" salute w respect and explain why you are not spending your money in his store!!🤔

Shelves were empty, couldnt really move around items werent priced correctly hard to find anything was a difficult shopping experience employees were watching me like i was there 2 something other shop made me feel uncomfortable

This is the cleanest Dollar General I have been to there is no clutter anyhow the shelves are all neat and organized the prices are reasonable the staff is very nice and they have a great manager.

Pretty decent DG. They have a lot of things locked up. I can understand why though. These days, New Kensington doesn't breed the best citizens.
