The hardware department is great. They have a better selection than the bigger box stores. Lawn and garden is also well-stocked and there are more items to choose from. Always helpful associates.

2.99 for a single, plastic, paint liner tray is almost unbelievable. I’m really going to stop coming here altogether and just rely 100% on online retailer or other big box stores. These trays are sold at other hardware stores in 10 packs for like 2 dollars more. My perception is that items are priced based on how much people might need them in a “quick run to the store” situation. Wouldn’t you feel better selling products that are a value to customers rather than using downright exploitative pricing.

To be honest the management is most of the drawbacks of coming here. There is a blonde lady with glasses who will look at you like a dumb beaver if you have any questions about anything. She is literally the beaver mascot but she is never busy

This place has gone so far down hill! The employees are rude and hard to deal with especially the blonde girl. Prices are way to high! Lumber here is a joke! You can’t find one straight un chewed 2x4 in the whole place. Then they try to charge for top grade lumber! I will never return! They have lost so much business and a lot of it is because of the rude staff.

New Kensington: Worst costumer care I've ever seen rudly brushed me off claiming that they didn't "think" they had the product available I checked online and called back because the website says it is available at that location the operator rudly cut me off saying she would transfer me and left me on hold for 30 minutes I'm sorry to say but it's really fallen apart

Great store with super friendly staff. If you live in the area I recommend stopping here before heading to Lowes in Pittsburgh Mills - This place will likely have what you need. Most recently, Zack helped me out with some drywall. He went above and beyond and I really appreciate it.

We stopped to buy patio stones that were on sale but while we were there found an area rug we wanted to buy. It did not have a price and cashier was unable to find a price. She called for a price check but no one answered. I went back to the shelf to look and she ended up coming back too. I told her there was no price on some of the carpets and she could not find one either. I told her never mind I would just put carpet back and we would just buy stones. She then said I think we are out of those. We left and will never go back. The cashier was not very nice, actually a little rude at times. Explained that they were short staffed and she was working 6 days a week. I totally believe that but do not see how that makes it impossible to get a price for a carpet. As a side note, at the time there was only about 3 other customers in the store. Very disappointed!!!!!

I’m so sick of this place. Every time I come in almost ALL THE ASSOCIATES ARE RUDE!!!!! From cashiers to people in departments. The ONLY GUY WORTH TALKING TO is that big dude with the beard and tattoos he actually talks to me and treats me like a HUMAN guys always nice everyone else is a waste of time!

I love 💕 Busy Beaver! I bought a beautiful wood screen door today for 60 bucks. I love it, gonna polyurethane it, then most likely change paint colors for holidays and seasons...lol I love to decorate!!! A few weeks ago I bought a bunch of patio stone and finally almost have the sidewalk installed! Can't wait for the first 🌃 night around the fire pit

5/7/2018. 12:45- 1:15 I just paid and waited over 30 minutes to be loaded with 8 bags of cement.. except nobody ever came out with the cement. I went in after 30 min, asked to be refunded, and while being refunded the careless sluggish female manager asked if I need cement and I explained that I already waited a half hr and wanted refunded. She turned around and continued cutting keys for another customer. Is that even considered management? Not even an apology.Complete morons, i saw at least 5 or 6 grown male employees wandering around aimlessly or carting cardboard out to dumpster the whole time. I could have carried the cement out myself if I knew they wouldnt do their job.Useless place, terrible if any customer service and I have to pay 2 people working for me for the hour that this store wasted. This is how you lose business.

Do not go here for potting soil. You can see the soil selection out in the lumber yard without prices. The folks outside don't know the prices. The idea is to.pay inside. But inside, they can't explain what products are outside. Be prepared to get dirty and be inconvenienced and pay full retail price.

Prices are FAR to high, selection is poor at best. The parking lot is dangerous with 10" in deep pot holes that they refuse to fix. I have called their main office twice with no return call. They do not care AT ALL about their customers. This place is terrible.

Can never get any help in the store. They can’t even get a price on something. Very rude employees. I’ll never shop here again. Much easier to take the 7 minutes to drive to Lowe’s. This store should be out of business

They have just about EVERYTHING & ANYTHING with the best preferences for anything you need for whatever manual labor work that needs done upMy only concern is that Busy Beaver doesn't have enough employees working at any of their spots to help ever answer questions thencustthen might & will always have. Besides cashier's(for whatever station they're in or the loaders that work outside),they need people to answer any questions you may have as well as being cashier's ( & vice versa) If that could ever be arranged, Busy Beaver would be the best & well known place to go for any of your manual labor needs. It really wouldn't hurt to take this advice (to see if it does or doesn't work out). It could very well happen.
