My wife & I stopped to look at a used compact tractor I found online. This was our first time here, I can say I've never had better service anywhere. No pressure sales, and additionally provided a cheaper and different option than what we were looking at - amazing considering I admitted I've never dealt with a dealer when buying a tractor (I bought my last one online). The suggested option wasn’t pushed on us as “you should buy this instead” but more “this should also suit you needs at a cheaper price if you’re interested”. Very knowledgeable and as important - very respectful to both myself & my wife. At no point did I witness any of the negative actions or ignorance mentioned in other reviews. Granted, I didn't deal with the parts department other than asking them where I could find the salesperson, but they were helpful & friendly & the lady in front of us seemed to leave happy with what she got.Since we were given options & we hadn't decided which option we were going to take, after leaving we went to a John Deere dealer a few miles down the road to look at another used tractor which I saw for sale online - we were in the neighborhood after all. Once there, while I could have walked up the hill & looked at what I THOUGHT was the one I was interested in, when I walked in & asked about it, the salesman had no interest in showing it to me and was more concerned about selling me a new machine that I neither wanted nor would fully meet my needs. So, I never got the chance to look at the tractor I was interested in. (Yes, I could still have walked over to look at it, but why?) One of my biggest pet peeves - salespeople who don't listen! Plus he came right out & told me he was going to screw me over on my trade in so many words e.g. "your tractor was sold new as a disposable tractor so isn't worth much for trade" (it's only 6 years old with less than 140 hours on it). Sadly, this is more the type of shyster sales type I'm used to at car dealers & had I not just been at Hetrick's moments earlier & experienced their great customer service, I wouldn't have expected anything more.We thus purchased the tractor we first looked at at Hetrick's. It was fairly priced & we got more than a fair value on our trade. We were treated with patience, kindness & respect by the salesperson (one of the owners) who actually LISTENED to what I had to say and provided answers/options where needed - quite a concept other salespeople should take note of! If you want a fair deal, I highly recommend Hetrick's!

A great store tucked into the country side just barely outside the town! A family owned store with helpful people, knowledgeable staff, and the owners are always there. They wear many hats and service a lot of brands. I've read some of the negative reviews but my observation is their expectations were unrealistic. Giving great service means sometimes you have to wait a little while so you get the right part the first time or they are helping someone else at the moment but they are done they will give you the exact same service. If you're looking for a family owned dealership that still places their customers at the top-stop in and see what they can do for you. Thanks guys for a great customer experience! Happy New Year.

I cannot rate this business low enough. Rude counter people that cannot find parts. They will not return a phone call. I tried to get a tractor in for service, seven unreturned calls later I gave up and went to another place. If you want good, considerate service go elsewhere. If you want rude, I don't need your business attitude this is your first stop.

If I could give zero stars I would. Horrible service. Was placed on hold for roughly 15 minutes. The man that answered the phone was really slow and acted like I knew nothing of what I was talking about. That is not how you run a business or treat your customers.

Highly recommend place to go to any tractor part's staff is very helpful and friendly and the parts were cheaper than I could find any where else plus they had everything I needed in stock
