I was very happy with the tuneup for my mower, he went the extra mile and explained to me that regular unleaded gas is not really good for it and told me what to use. It definitely runs better and he cleaned it up I highly recommend Barry's.

Walked in, and could see how busy this place was. Recognized a professionally run establishment. Didn't expect much, I wasn't trying to buy new equipment or get newer equipment repaired. The man, definitely in Charge, listened to what I wanted. Spent time listening to me, no experience, not knowing what to even call the parts I needed. Asked me to wait, an he went, searched through his inventory. Brought me exactly what I needed. He did make me pet his dog while he was searching, but I wanted to anyway. Will go there from now on. Made me remember how Americans are supposed to be.... as a veteran, I give this place top ratings. That's all I can say. ..

Great place to get your lawnmower or snowblower (old or new) serviced at a fair price. They'll even fix leaf blowers and weed whackers. I take all my small engine work here.

Dropped off an old chainsaw and explained the chain didn't seem to be oiling properly and it might need a tune up. Almost four months later I called to check on the chainsaw and was informed they forgot it was there and they will look at it. About a week later I received a phone call stating it was done. No heads up as to what it needed or what it would cost...just "It's done". When I went to pick it up I was informed it needed a lot of work. Parts and 1.3 hours of labor came to $150. Had someone called to inform me how expensive a "tune up" was going to be I would have just went to Home Depot and bought the same size saw brand new for just $50 more. Nice place for buying new stuff, won't go again for servicing.Update: The saw that was worked on was an Echo CS-306. It is not a high end top handle saw as is being implied by shop owner. As per the offer to bring my saw back in exchange for a refund. Unless you plan on putting all the old parts back I have no intention of giving you MY saw in exchange for a refund on service only for you to turn around and sell the saw yourself for a profit. Only wish I would have just sold it myself from the start and avoided this petty disagreement altogether.

Customer Service is the worst, they could care less if you went somewhere else. Requested service appointments and call backs time and time again over the last year. If the old man who owns the place is not there or on vacation they tell you to call back in a week, Nobody there wants to take responsibility. I find it had to believe that Ferris authorized this CIRCUS to handle their equipment.To Answer Barry's Question: Equipment was purchased from them also. What an insult.

Bill is extremely loyal to his customers you buy it from him and he stands behind it. Being a business owner myself I understand a person's time and experience has a value that most people do not appreciate. Bills time and experience is worth paying for! Thanks for all the help.

We purchased our Toro push mower from Barry's. The staff were very helpful. When I had a problem with the mower, I called and they told me how to fix my mower without having to take it over. I would recommend Barry's to anyone.

I took a tire there to get replaced and was spoken to very very rudely for not buying the tire thru them. Okay if you don’t want to change out the tire because it didn’t come from your company but there’s a way to relay that message. I will never ever do business with this company!!!!!! Also, to your response, I called and a lady said you didn’t have the tire in, I could purchase it my self or have your company purchase it. I chose to purchase it myself due to the time I was informed on how long it could take you to get it. To any potential customers please look at his response to my comment and make your decision wisely, is this a owner/ company you want to do business with? It would be zero stars if allowed!!!!! BTW the next place I took it too did it in less than 20 minutes

Needed a trimmer repaired. I walked in with it and within 30 seconds was pretty much told to get lost. No assistance what so ever. The person who spoke with me was arrogant and acted as if I was a fool for bringing a trimmer to a place that repairs lawn equipment. If I had been treated better, and they couldn't fix it, I would of just bought a new one from them. I am a very loyal consumer to business that treat me well but this place won't see a penny from me.

I dropped my push mower off to get blades sharpened and oil changed. After a week, I called to see if it would be done. The woman who answered was so rude. I asked when it would be done and she said she didn’t know. I was like, “well can you find out”? After a long hold, she came back and said it wouldn’t be done and I can come pick it up if I need it. What terrible service?!. They have no idea when things will get done and have no soft skills or brains to figure out when. Whoever the woman is who answers the phone needs fired. She’s so rude.

Bill not only gave me a good deal on my ferris is3200z but took the time to go over the difference between the mowers . I shopped 4 places and drove 3 mowers he. He did just give me specs he actully told me what each thing ment big + good service and tons of help. Liked them so much I purchased a echo chainsaw 3 weeks later . A+ shop in my book

I had asked them to put a new blade on my push lawnmower, and to do a basic tune up. I get a bill of about $200 because they did stuff that I didn't ask for. They didn't even call me to let me know that it was done. Unprofessional!

I'll never darken their doorstep again. Stopped to ask some general questions about a spindle and they were very rude and ignorant. First and last for me. My equipment will rot before I purchase anything from this place. Horrible

Would never take another lawnmower there to have fixed ever again , they charged me like 71.00 for a pull cord to start the mower , and I asked they check it out and made sure it ran ok , yeah they didn't check anything out , I brought it home and maybe used it like 3 times , was running really rough and then it died , I won't even start
