Update 2-29-24: Very impressed with how organized this store became since my last time here.Review update: Still very good. I've raised my rating because the rate at which new stock is set out, lately, is better than I've ever seen at any other Goodwill store. I rarely see the same things two visits in a row. The employees really seem to be working hard, and the end cap displays they make always look cute.Original review: Pretty decent Goodwill. Fairly clean, though I have noticed a few items on shelves with cobwebs; not too big a deal. Employees are nice and always working hard.

This is my favorite goodwill in the Pittsburgh area (and I go to all of them!) I never leave without getting something and I’m a weekly shopper here. The staff is incredibly helpful & kind — prices are what you would expect & I appreciate them not going the way of overcharging for certain items. There is an older woman who works on Mondays who is always very personable, energetic & fun, I always look forward to seeing her when I stop. A+ customer service

Wonderful thrift store with a good selection of clothes and random goods. Found several pair of pants that were in great condition and reasonably priced. Clean and well organized. Friendly staff and discounts for folks 55 and older everyday.

Went to Goodwill in the heights three different times this week bought electronics nothing worked called the managers they said there's nothing they can do about it ith all sells as is now so the store is putting stuff on the floor that does not work making money off broken stuff so beware to make sure you check everything you take out of that store before leaving

Staff was friendly, store was really organized. The prices seemed high for good will. They no longer give you bags at checkout. You can grab a box or purchase a bag for $1. They had these ribbon "lines" set up that would be difficult to get a wheel chair through.

I never have any luck with clothes or housewares at this location. Seems like mostly low end brands and too high of asking prices for them. But I do have decent luck finding picture frames or artwork that I can remove for the frames! The back wall usually seems loaded with frames. The store is always neatly organized. I usually leave empty handed more often than not, though.

Update: Visited on 9/20/22. Shelves and clothing racks are half empty. When all the other GW's in the area are stuffed with goods, this store has virtually nothing? ANYONE KNOW IF THEY ARE CLOSING THIS STORE?It's really disappointing when staff puts out severely damaged and stained clothing and then has the nerve to ask you for $5+ for the item!This GW seems to 'special price' anything and everything that has the original tags on it. $2.99 tag at the WalMart? GW charges $$7.99 - ridiculous!!Also? Putting empty glass pasta sauce containers on the shelf?! What the actual....This location seems to be saturated with Walmart, Target, and cheap Amazon brands. Houseware area is small compared to other GW's in the area. Donation drive-thru never seems to be open.

I like shopping here cause it's usually not crowded and sometimes you can get real lucky and find nice clothes or something fun or useful for the house. I do feel like some things are overpriced though especially clothes. The workers are friendly. There is a restroom and a couple of changing rooms. They do not give refunds as far as I know but will do exchanges if you keep your receipt and tags on items. I also like that they have a women's plus size section.

This was the worst customer service I have ever had! The "manager" and cashier were very rude, acted like toy my child had been holding was diseased, picking it up with two fingers, because he had been holding it. The refused service to me because I can't wear a mask. They made me tell them my personal medical information as to why I cannot put a mask on before they offered me a face shield. But, their own employees weren't wearing masks stocking the shelves. Worst experience ever.

Got the absolutely cutest Halloween costume for my little niece 🧙‍♀️❤ they had a wonderful selection of costumes and the store was clean and neat. Staff was friendly and asked if I needed assistance

Great store great employees lots of good things! I forgot to add that I purchased a few things but the best part was I was having a hard day and after I got to the store the young girl who waited on me made my day with her attitude and smile she's Italian and was wearing a hat ty ❤️😺

This store is in a great location. Very nice and welcoming staff and the store is kept very clean. The price on clothing is high. $5.29 for skirts, shorts, and sleepwear.$8.99 for jackets, winter and hoodies bulked together. This is a reflection of the goodwills district SET price. Which NEEDS to be lowered. As a frequent multi regional Goodwill shopper, these are the highest prices I have seen😔! The wares section including furniture, glass, electronics, purses are very reasonably priced as that is done in store by employees.

Good place to thrift or vintage shop. I have been shopping here for years. Many brand name items can be found when detail shopping for unique clothing. If it made it yo the Goodwill it is of good quality most times. This location has lots of furniture pieces too. Parking lot is large and the store is new. Years ago shopping at GW was much more affordable, but vintage clotging revival has increased their prices....so sometimes it is actually worth to buy new in regular stores.

Decided to stop into a Goodwill Store I happen to see in my travels today. I love a good flea market, so I always visit thrift stores I happen to come across. This store is pretty well stocked, yet in an ordery fashion. I didn't find any hidden gems, but I do recommend a visit if you happen to be in the area.

Horrible. I bought a lamp Sept 3rd. Before I bought it, I asked the cashier this works. You guys test 5hings before u sale them. Especially since it's all donated and yinz turn around and make money off it she said yes we test all lamps, electric, n. Toys with sounds. I get 5he lamp home and it doesn't work ... How does that make any sense. And all sales are final. They knew it didn't work and still sold it.

Fair pricing but be advised, it's a smaller store so the selection won't be what you're used to. The workers here keep this place very clean and organized.

This is the ONLY goodwill I know of THATS NEVER excepting donations. Today I drive the 10 miles with dressers chairs and much more only to discover they are not “ excepting dontation at this time”. Last year it happened and I thought it was due to covid. One time they told me they were excepting donations, then they told me they would take “ the nicer furniture off my truck”. Another time they told me they would take clothes but not furniture Due to covid??? Which makes zero sense. I will NEVER SHOP AT NOR DONATE TO THIS GOODWILL AGAIN.

I really like Goodwill. They have tons of clothes. All of their clothes are marked with different colored tags. Some times they have 99 cent days. A certain colored tag is 99 cents. You can usually find some really nice stuff.

This is not a large Goodwill. It seems to have a lot of regulars, that pick through clothes as they are being rolled out of the back. Also, a pool of regulars were congregating in the back sitting in chairs for sale, like they were waiting for the bus or something. It's hard to navigate around casually with people acting crazy, desperate to find their golden token. This location was really picked through.

It's so ridiculous that all the stuff that they have is donated but yet their charging $5.35 for a old used shirt like you can go to Walmart and get something brand new that looks and smells better for the same price. I won't ever go back.

Goodwill is a thrift store that sells donated goods to help less fortunate and handicapped people. Their programs give them a second chance at life. Some stores are not organized as well as ithers, but if you are looking for something interesting or reduced clothing, then they are perfect. God Bless, keith

Yesterday when I was there the girl had an attitude while ringing me up and put a bowl which was 4.00 In a bag and pushed it against another bag n right off the counter wouldn't pick it up. I had to move crutch to lean over n pick it up myself and it had broke in the process of hitting the floor.
